Description of Work: I was having problems with the flooring company I had hired. Because of the reviews on Angies List Combined with the 50 years in the business I decided to call The Floorman, to get another professional opinion on my floors. Timing was a real issue as we were needing to move into the home. The Floorman had someone out to my house in TWO hours and I was given a very professional critique of the floors in question with solutions offered. I offered to pay for the services but was not charged! I wish I had hired this company from the start!!! I would highly recommend them for your flooring needs as they were punctual, professional and very helpful to me.

Description of Work: We had water-damaged solid Brazilian Cherry flooring in our living room that was buckling and pulling off the slab. Jesse De Anda Jr came to our house to give an estimate on the cost of the repair. While the affected area only looked to be approximately 30 square feet, I was a bit shocked at their $1000 job 'minimum price' for the repair, labor only. Jesse knew that we had another room that was awaiting new flooring installation (we had already purchased the mateirals) and offered to install that entire bedroom (144 s/f) and reinstall the baseboards and shoe moldings at the same $1000 price. When the installers arrived (on time) and after the removal of the damaged wood, we found that the damage was greater than we had anticipated. Approximately 1/3 of the entire living room/dining combination had to be removed. The work that the installers did was incredible. With the exception of a difference in color (which Brazilian cherry quickly darkens in sunlight) you cannot tell that the floor had been repaired. When we discoverd late on Friday that we would not have enough replacement wood, one of the installers offered to pick up the new wood at the retailer since he lived nearby, and saved me a 50-mile round trip journey. The installers were very neat and tidy, and with the exception of a lot of dust in the house, you would not know they had been there. Every job is different, and expectations vary from customer to customer. We are thoroughly pleased with the service and job that the Floorman did for us.

Description of Work: Laid engineered hardwood in entry way, hallway and family room. Work included 3 stairs and a long ledge for step down into family room.
