We initially thought we had some hardware problems although after some work Steve determined that was not problem and pinpointed the problem to operating system corruption. Since it was an old computer we elected to purchase a new computer for a faster system. We also purchased some antivirus software through Tech Pro as we were unhappy with our current anti-virus software and it was up for renewal.

Description of Work: Techpro assessed the networking needs of our new small office and just took care of them with no hassles, including moving our cable modem across the building, purchasing and installing a gigabit switch, and adding live data jacks in several places. | |Steve was consistently easy to reach, prompt, and flexible about scheduling around our convenience -- he even came in on July 4 in a pinch because we needed work done before the following Monday -- and his billing was clear, fair, and prompt. I will certainly call Techpro again the next time our office has any sort of networking needs.

Description of Work: The first time we used Steve for our computer services was to clean up our computers to make them run more efficiently and troubleshoot some issues we were having. Later, when we decided to purchase new computers, Steve came to our location to set-up the new computers for us.

Description of Work: Steve Landon coordinated our company's phone and internet switchover from AT&T to LOGIX Communications. We were concerned about the switch because of the possibility of either phone or internet downtime. I could not have been more pleased with the switch or outcome

Description of Work: Steve was great. He tuned up all of the computers in our home, including our laptops. He tested and helped set up the cable internet service. (We switched over from DSL.) Installed some new peripherals and also installed some new equipment in our home theater. Anything electronic/computer-related, this guy can do. If you have an emergency situation (such as a virus issue, for example), it's best to call him first thing in the AM. He can usually work you in either the same day or the next day.

Description of Work: I have used Steve Landon for all our IT consulting,maintenace, repairs and upgrades for approximately 9 years. First time was to help my wife and I set up our home computer system when Steve was working for a computer repair and maintenance company. Shortly after our first call from Steve he struck out on his own and I have used his services exclusively. He proved to be so good that I persuaded my Dad and Uncle to emply Steve's services and expertise in our family Oil and Gas exploration company. We have a large inventory of both producing and non-producing mineral and royalty interests and receive alot of royalty checks at the end of each month. Most of these mineral/royaties were purchased by my Grandfather in the 1930's and 40's. They require a great deal of management, adminstration, and accounting. Our staff is of an older generation that thought the advent of the old Texas Instruments desk top calculators were a mind blowing technological leap. Steve's patience first with me and my wife and then with our office staff was/is exemplary. He is extremely intelligent and keeps up with all the technological advancements, both the useful and the over rated. Not once has he recommended a product that did not prove to be extremely useful and appropriate for our needs. When he installs anything for any of our staff he will sit with them and get them familiar with the software or hardware product and remains vigilant and accessible for any questions or lack of understanding on anything he installs for us. he is honest, has integrity beyond question and has never over charged for anything he has done for us. If anything, he undercharges us for the time he provides us. He is an expert in networking, malware and virus prevention and removal. setup of new hardware or installation of software. he is never late for an appointment and, most imprtantly is a kind, decent and polite person. he is the best at providing top quality customer service of anyone that has ever done any work for me personally or for our families company professionally. I would not consider using anyone other than Steve for my/our IT needs.
