Sundrop Gardens Landscaping

The weedspray killed much of my front yard - some unwanted weeds, but also some of the saint augustine and bermuda that I was hoping to promote. I spent more money on my front lawn this year than I have in the 3 years I've lived here and I had the ONLY bad looking lawn on the block...dead patches and other weeds standing out prominently. In the backyard, it was obvious where the weedkiller had been spilled, the dead patches were in wide swaths - killing grass of all sorts, including the carpet grass that had been the only healthy thing in the back yard for 3 years.

I had some issues with my prior lawn service, so I decided to go with a well-reviewed provider off of Angie's List. After some initial scheduling hiccups (mostly due to the rain, I would guess), Manny's crew has performed the service as scheduled. My yard looks great, and I have had no issues with the service. The only reason that I didn't give them an A for price is that they are slightly more expensive than other lawn services that I have utilized.

I called Sundrop about 3 to 4 weeks ago to come by for a spring clean-up. I knew the landscape companies were backed up due to rain, so the estimate of 2 weeks for service seemed reasonable. Two weeks passed, no call back or service. I followed up and Sundrop said they would be by Monday or Tuesday. No call, no show. Again, I know the companies are catching up from rain, but potential customers should get a call-back if work dates are pushed out. Guess I'll be looking for another company to do the work. I can only assume they do great work because they are too busy to call back.

He did a pretty good job. He didn't ask what kind of mulch I wanted?? Weeds are already back??? So.... I would've liked cedar mulch due to Mosquitos . Hoped weedis wouldn't be back so soon. Nice guy.

Well. I thought Todd made a mistake first time but lightening broke my sprinkler system. So he told me what to buy to save me money on getting a new box. Original price 300.00, With his help I bought a 57.00 progr am and he said he could install it for 85.00, so half price??

I've used several different lawn care companies over the last few years, and Manny and his crew are top notch. Always do a great job, show up when they say they will, and pay attention to the small details that matter. My yard has never looked better ... highly recommended.

He and his crew arrived bright and early on the day scheduled and did a great job. They were efficient and thorough and Manny was very helpful in getting some added work done during the same visit. They are to come back this week to add mulch to the newly cleaned out beds. They were also careful around our soaker hose system and cleaned all the debris up very well.

So far it is going great. They mow every week, kill weeds and have fertilized. My yard looks fantastic. The owner of the company is easy to talk to and seems eager to resolve any issue or concern you may have. I have no complaints The only reason I did not give a perfect score on punctuality is that I do not have a time window for them to start the work on my designated day. I keep my gates locked and would to have an estimated time fort their arrival. The owner says the he is still trying to arrange fixed schedules.

I bought it two weeks ago and the provider contacted from the Angie's List message center and I called him to schedule and instead of returning my call he waited 4 more days and sent me another message. If he's this difficult to get ahold of this is someone I don't want to work with.

Throughout the process of installing sod and fixing my thirty year old sprinkler system, Manny, the owner of Sundrop Gardens, was always in touch with me. The St. Augustine sod that his staff installed was beautiful, healthy, fresh sod. I am very pleased with the results plus I have received many compliments from my neighbors on how nice my lawn looks. Manny was very fair and worked within my budget. I would definitely recommend his company.

Great! The sodded area is beautiful. The edging materials were difficult to work with so the got a circular saw to make the 45 degree cuts.

They came out to do an estimate and after measuring my yard it was going to be an additional fee which was double the amount I had already paid.

Manny contacted me within hours of buying the deal. He came out and we went over what my expectations were and he made his recommendation. I only went with what I had bought due to my budget at this time but would have no problem using him again. The guys showed up about a week later and were done in no time. It was amazing how professional they were and How great the yard looked where the sod was laid. They made sure everything was cleaned up and I was happy before they left. Definitely a great compay and would highly recommend. Call them, you won't be disappointed.

It went very well. They went above and beyond what I expected. The crew was knowledgeable and conscientious. Still have remaining of the year for additional services but I am very pleased.

Contacted Manny the week of 3-15 and Manny completed the initial spring spruce up (mowing/edging, flowerbeds prep, and shrub trimming) within a week. All was complete and yard looks great. Manny is very knowledgeable about gardening, extremely customer oriented and responsive. After the work was done he followed up to make sure all was handled as agreed upon. Again just started using him but the quality of work, rates, and his attention to customer service is very impressive.

It went really well. He had huge issues because of the rain. They did all the trimming on 3/12 and had the ground prepped for putting in sod on the 13th. They came on the 13th and put in the rocks in the driveway in pouring rain. All day it poured and they were there most of that day. I was out of town for a week and so nothing could be done until I returned. On Monday 3/23 the sun was out and the sod all went in. They put in the crosswalk of stones across the rock section of the driveway and along parts of the side where one gets out of the car. I apparently can enter only one date. It actually ended up 3 days instead of 2 because of rain. There was a week inbetween the first work because I already had an out of town trip planned.
