Description of Work: Soils Alive takes care of my yard and trees and flowerbeds. They are extremely prompt and professional and EXTREMELY considerate of my dog and his needs and they are very good at staying in touch with me. They always let me know when they will do a treatment so I can keep my beloved dog inside. They use organic products and have a variety of choices.

Description of Work: Our yard is treated for weeds and fertilized with organic products on a regular basis. We have used Soils Alive for many years. This has not been a quick fix for our grass but it is healthy for pets,birds and beneficial insects as well as kids. Perseverance has paid off and our lawn has looked green and healthy this last year.

Description of Work: I have used Soils Alive for five years. I switched from chemical weed n feed to organics about eight years ago. I heard their commercials on the radio (WRR FM 101) and called. Michael came to my home and walked around my yard with me, discussing my concerns and answering my questions. I showed him the soil analysis report that I had and he recommended a custom service plan. He explained that their liquid compost is extruded to maximize the liquid nutrients so that the leftover solids are almost colorless. Liquid gold! | |Soils Alive rotates organic treatments throughout the year so your lawn doesn't get 'used to' any particular one. Results are always terrific. My watering is more effective. | |I have sometimes sent them a picture of a trouble spot and they answer within a day and can treat it in a very reasonable time (1-3 days). On the back of my invoice, the technician will leave notes about whether to water it in or wait. I don't have to buy, haul, & apply products and then store what is unused. They plan/apply their treatment with the weather (if it's going to rain and the product is supposed to remain dry, they'll wait). | |As a courtesy, they call the night before they will treat, so I always know when they're coming. My cycle is every 8-9 weeks.

Also applied a liquid pre-emergent for the control of spring weds to the Bernuda turf areas only. | |Went well. Always professional and receptive to input/questions. Suggested to me that for the best results to water this application of pre-emergent within the next 2-3 days. | |Applicator is very knowledgeable.
