At a very stressful time, this would be a great idea. And it could be. The adjuster came after my tank blew and flooded my house. The adjuster said he worked for the company AND service 247. He said that if I wanted, he could coordinate all of the services for fixing my house. It sounded great since I travel a bunch. I had to work with another person from this company and not the adjuster for all the repairs. The coordinator of repairs was very passive-aggressive and in some cases was good (painting coordination) and in others he acted like it was a pain. I had to take pictures of the work on tiling in order to get them to fix it. The contractor they had reset the toilet did not do it properly and I had to get a plumber out twice to fix it. They had slab work done and a total of these costs were never conveyed to me. I had to ask for items. Most of the work was well done (carpet and paint) tiling was with a few mistakes, I don't know about the slab since I have had not response on that. They set off my house alarm numerous times (which is a per alarm cost) and when I stopped in from traveling they were using my good towels as rugs to walk on. This is a stressful time and I am not sure these guys understand the issues. Additionally, they were not accountable to me. They said they were working for me, but they were working for the insurance company and making money off it (which is fine, but they should not state they are working only for the consumer). I got billed in two segments and have not had any deductions for other items broken or ruined (towels, toilet, washer/dryer, vacuum..which was either ruined in the flood or by their use since they were using my applicances when I was gone). I asked if they were on Angies when I met them and the adjustor said no they didn't need that and it was a waste. I should have listed to that. This was very costly. And I believe they benefitted at my expense. Would I use them again? No. They could improve, but would need to communicate and be open and honest with customers.
Description of Work: Served as adjuster and go between for insurance company and customer. Perry Canet was the adjustor who said they would work to make sure all repairs were done and I would be given a discount on the policy deductable. The adjustor, working with a second person from 247 (George Mares) were to ensure all work was done and coordinated it.
