Bad - They stated the repair was at no cost - even called supervisor to verify and then wanted $125 to give my equipement back
Description of Work: This provider bought my alarm contract and now refuses to maintain the system - They lied and were very deceptive

It is a piece of junk. We've had more trouble with it than what it is worth. We've had trouble ever since we've had the alarm. We have a 2-year contract so we can't get out of it. They have been over here 3 times since we've had it and they always have an excuse. We don't even argue with them anymore. They are more expensive than the last one we had. We thought they were good so we were willing to pay it but they are not so we made a mistake. The installation was free and we pay $45 a month.
Description of Work: We use Security Networks for our alarm system. They were last here two months ago to fix it.

I tried to cancel in July and was told I have a contract with them for one year. I never signed anything with them nor was I ever notified of a new contract. I did sign a two year contract with Alarm One, which expired several months before I tried to cancel. I was told someone had to come to our house in order to cancel, but it turned out to be a sales pitch. When the salesman came to our new home to give an estimate, the price was very high for the equipment. He also stated that the Alarm One converts were paying almost double what their regular customers are but would only lower my rate if I renewed the contract for another year. Their customer service reps are always surly over phone. I have talked to three so far, and all three were filled with attitude.
Description of Work: The estimated cost is the cost I had to pay for one year of monitoring with this company. It does not include any equipment. Security Networks took over Alarm One, which was the company I had a contract with.
