+ -1 moreWe used Chris Seaman’s for work on two different houses. We used him a second time because he did such a wonderful job of fulfilling our vision the first time. When we moved back to the Dallas area last year, we knew we wanted him to design and create our landscaping. We used Chris because of his creativity. He is a perfectionist and ensures the work is done right. Because of his outstanding work, he is very busy. If you need him to do your landscape you need to call ahead of time to get your work done. We will not use anyone else.
Description of Work: We had him design our large flowerbeds in back, update our flower beds in front, and build in a grill.

+ -1 moreWe have used Seamans Lawn and Landscape for 7 years, and they are an awesome company. They do an excellent weekly job of edging and mowing. They come out to the house at the same time every week, so I know when to expect them. When they leave, the yard looks like it has had the best manicure in town. I am on the yearly turf maintenance program, which keeps the grass green and the weeds out. They always give me a call the day before they do a turf application. I am very pleased with this company.

Description of Work: Redo some landscaping around our pool and add two stone (12 tons of stone)riverbed runoffs to channel and diffuse runoff from upper portion of yard to lower yard that slopes to a creek. Added new mulch to all our beds and planted two new trees. They do quality work.

+ -1 moreI have used this service two years. This appears to be a secondary service by the company. The first year they came out and provided the service. They do the lighting for a flat fee but charge you for broken lights and other charges. The first year they charged me for 39 broken light bulbs. The second year they charged me for 39 broken light bulbs. They also charged an additional and quot;miscellaneousand quot; charge of $15.00 for gutter clips. I called and complained and these fees were removed after an extensive argument on the logic of breaking the same amount of bulbs and how careless their crew has to be to break this many bulbs each year. But in the process I spoke with some neighbors and they were charged for around 50 bulbs. Please double check your invoice. The additional charges looks to be a way for this company to pad the invoice for further charges.

Description of Work: The only services that were performed was partial landscaping and sprinkler repair. The landscaping was partially done because of water restrictions but also because they did not complete everything I asked. When I called them about not completing all my requests (I was out of the country when they did the project), I was told that the fountain repair would be done when they came back to complete rest of landscaping and they would also remove the side yard fountain and rocks as I requested then as well. The water restrictions never were lifted therefore, landscaping still hasn't been done. I feel they should have finished the job they were hired to do other than planting the bushes. Also, getting the estimate was like pulling teeth!! BUT....I stuck through it because I was given their name by my realtor I trusted. I was VERY patient mainly because Kathleen was over the top nice. We asked them to return (why on earth I would consider them again after my last experience is beyond me) to completely revamp our pool area. Arbor, Fence, New decking, Hot tub and Grilling area. Quite a significant job. It took WEEKS just to get a simple drawing which was incorrect of what I wanted. I emailed them back making the appropriate corrections and was told they would make the corrections and get the estimate to me. WELL.....it has been approximately 3 months (maybe a little more) since he was out to my home and I have yet to receive anything from this company. Obviously they have enough business that customer service is just not important to them. We would have been excellent customers for them. Always pay our bill immediately and are very patient with these people (in reference to the constant postponement last Fall. (We had them out in June to look at landscaping and the Partial job wasn't done until October) Good to know in this economy that they have a business that does so well it doesn't warrant needing to provide customer service! Unfortunately, I as nice as the brothers are and especially as nice as Kathleen is I will not ever recommend this company for any needs.

+ -1 moreThey do my Christmas lights but not any yard work. I think it was $500 to put them up and take them down. They gave an early bird discount. We had somebody else do it before and they went out of business so we were kind of in a pickle. They are pretty reputable when it comes to putting up lights. I would use them again in the future.

+ -1 moreI liked that they were willing to do this small job. These guys were able to do the work when I needed it done. I was out of town when they did the work. I came home and they did a good job. They remembered to adjust the heads. It might not be a bargain price, but it was fair and the job was done right.
Description of Work: I had them trim back some trees and bushes and layed sod down where there was no grass. They adjusted the sprinkler heads to accomodate the new grass.
