My roof sustained minor damage during a big storm earlier this fall. The wind peeled the drip edges off one side of the roof. In addition, I had some leaks around the gables that had been getting worse. A few handymen attempted to repair the gables over the years, but the leaks always came back. I picked Scott Exteriors from the Angie's List reviews and was not disappointed. A representative met me after work to assess the damage. He was very professional and later emailed me an estimate, which I accepted. The work was completed quickly, and, so far, no leaks. I would definitely recommend and use again.

I worked with Patrick who turned out to have immense integrity. The job ended up being much more involved than originally expected (turned out to be structural damage). Patrick was up front and transparent throughout the process. When the work moved beyond his area of expertise, he recommended someone that would perform the job. He even repaired a few items without charge even though the delay in service was not his doing. A wonderful and refreshing experience that is far to rare.

We previously used Scott Exteriors to evaluate the condition of our roof when we purchased our home in 2012. At the time, the roof was starting to show age-related wear, but was not yet critical to replace. Fast forward two years and roofing contractors were flooding our area of Collin County to identify hail-damaged roofs. When one company canvassing the street told us we definitely had hail damage, we decided to call Scott Exteriors for a more familiar second opinion. We were not able to meet the sales rep in person, but Patrick came out and looked at the roof and e-mailed us a quote. Although he was not as encouraging about insurance participation, he quoted a couple of options to replace the roof, and then later added an addendum related to fascia repair due to squirrel damage. We ultimately did a lot of internet research and got bids from two other highly-rated companies on Angie's List and two small companies - one referred by a friend and the other by our insurance company. We picked Scott Exteriors not only based on our prior experience and the company's reputation in the roofing industry, but also due to the detail in their bid about the materials and installation methods to be used. They were not the cheapest quote for basic replacement, but the most reasonable for the upgrade to impact resistant shingles. Once the roof replacement began, the installation superintendent "Chief" became our primary point of contact, letting us know our roof would take two full days to complete. The work eventually went into the third day due to a slight rain delay, but the onsite installation experience was excellent. Miguel's crew arrived promptly each morning and continued working until dusk, then cleaned up the work area and neatly stored materials and supplies. Chief checked in each day (often long after dark) to update us on the job's progress and answer any questions or concerns we might have. His knowledge and expertise gave us confidence that the job would meet all our expectations. Of course, no job goes without small glitches, and we did ask to have some flashing reworked since it was in a highly visible location, but it was taken care of that same day without complaint. The fascia repair crew also did very good work, even though they initially did not have ladders tall enough to reach the roof's peak and had to leave one area of damage unrepaired. When I contacted my sales rep, he said that really had not been included in the quote, but he sent the crew back to repair it anyway. After the job's completion, it was another few days before we could connect for a final roof inspection with Chief, but we were not asked to pay before his inspection was done. In fact, no payment was required up front at all, but only upon final acceptance of the job. Our new roof looks great and only time will tell if the impact resistant shingles are a good investment against future hail damage. We would not hesitate to recommend Scott Exteriors or use them again in the future.

Very professional. Bruce, the contact person, got back to me immediately. Their prices were very affordable compared to others on Angie's List. The siding also matches our old siding perfectly. Would definitely use them again in the future.

The Scott Exteriors folks are consistently easy to work with - professional, courteous and responsive. Kirk Scott is very personable and direct. We have never had new windows or siding done, but I would call these guys first if we did. A few months ago (about 10 years after the roof was installed) we decided to have it checked out, following some storms and a flurry of new roofs around us. We called Scott Exteriors and they came out (on time for their appointment, as usual) and inspected the roof. It's doing fine - no need for any repairs or anything. Music to our ears! I highly recommend Scott Exteriors.

Scott Exteriors were very professional and polite, but were the most expensive bid we got. In fact, their bid was a minimum of 2 times the price of the other bids we received; they were 3.5x the price of our lowest bid. In the end we used another company that did more work for a little less than 1/2 the price. The other company did all the work listed on this bid, plus they replaced 150 sq ft of underpinning (ceiling) of the back patio, painted the garage doors and trim, replaced additional out-of-scope trim with no charge, and removed, painted, & reinstalled gutters. For what it's worth, materials for this job cost somewhere in the ballpark of $5,000 - $6,000 for me to buy from Home Depot and it took 5 guys roughly 3-4 days to complete... Day labor is at most $100/day, so there is another $2,000 max. Almost $30,000 for profit margin is kind of insulting.

Technician came when he said he would. he emailed me an estimate. After I returned the estimate as approved, the technician came and made the repairs within the timeframe referenced. The technician then emailed me an invoice and I paid it. Very easy and I did not have to be home for the repair.

I was very satisfied. They were professional and competent, and cleaned up all the mess before they left. The Alcoa vinyl siding still looks great and it has been in place over ten years. I have a lot of confidence in them and would use them again.

Company was on time and courteous as well as follow up.

Bruce, the salesperson and project manager showed up on time, provided an estimate when he said he would and was very responsive to questions and concerns during the project. Pedro and his work crew showed up when they said they would each day and did great work. In many cases they even went beyond what was being asked of them. The work looks great and I will definitely be contacting Scott Exteriors for my next project.

Overall very punctual in responding to the initial request, call back, appointment and estimate. Would have definitely used them if not for other projects we needed at the same. Went with another company was going to do fence, deck, at the same time as roof.

It went well, they gave me an estimate first and I went with them because the price was reasonable. They took everything off and cleaned up. About five to seven of them came out to do the job. Took them a couple a days to complete. I used them because they had good ratings with Angies List. The work they did was good. They were quick and the roof is working fine and has no leaks. They did a good job and had reasonable price. I would use them again.

Two workmen arrived on time and worked non-stop until all work was completed. They cleaned up the area of debris and left things neat and tidy. This was no small effort as there was lots of rotted wood bits and pieces scattered on all three sides of the house. The finished siding work was as neat as the original project done years ago. The company came by the next day and inspected all the work done to make sure everything was well crafted and that I was pleased with the work.

Job went very well. This is the second time we have used Scott Exteriors to install a roof. Jordan was very responsive and I felt very comfortable with him. We usually communicated via email and I was okay with that. I definitely recommend Scott Exteriors!

Summary: A person answered the phone rather than a machine. The lady said a man would call to provide an estimate. The next day, Bruce called with an estimate. Two days later they completed the job. They sent me an invoice which I paid by mail. Good folks. They didn't balk even one minute to take on this small job. I will use them again.

I live in a townhouse complex and so have no direct control over the work on the roof. However, I will say that the workmen were very polite and efficient when doing the section over my unit. They were wonderful to clean up when they were done.

Scott Exteriors did a great job. I worked with Corby Hosea and he was very easy to work with. He followed up quickly on questions I had. His crew did a beautiful job replacing my roof. And he did everything he said he would do when he would do it. My roof was in pretty bad shape, and now it looks great. I will definitely use Scott Exteriors again in the future for my roofing needs. I would recommend them to anyone with roofing needs.

Just when I nearly gave up finding a contractor to repair minor wind damage to the siding on my house, I found Scott Exteriors. They were so professional in every way from the lovely woman who took my information to Patrick who arrived exactly on time. I called on Friday, Patrick came Monday afternoon and the damge was repaired the next morning and it looks great. I highly recommend this company and should I need any further professional work done now I know who to call, Scott Exteriors.

They did not carry the brand of windows currently installed. They provided other business contacts that could do glass replacement services for less cost. The service representative dispatched to our home was very knowledgeable and extremly professional. If we ever need to replace our windows we will use Scott.

They are pretty good. I am really happy with them and I recommend them. They also come on time.

Bruce made a visit to our property to quote the repairs we needed. The project went exactly as planned and everything was repaired, painted and sealed with quality a of professionalism by the crew. Thank you Scott's Exteriors for a job well done.
