Founded in 1997, the company utilizes experienced estimators, talented installation crews and full-time office personnel. Based in Dallas, Texas, Scott Exteriors maintains an A+ rating with the BBB, has received the Super Service Award from Angie's List each year since 2007, is EPA Lead-Safe Certified and is a member of the North Texas Roofing and Contractors Association (NTRCA), the National Association of the Remodeling Industry, the National Roofing Contractors Association and the Roofing Contractors Association of Texas. Great job by everyone involved.
Description of Work: New roof. They removed the old wood shake shingles and the asphalt shingle overlay, they then put down radiant barrier decking and new asphalt shingles. The workers were efficient and tireless. The cleanup afterwards was exceptional.

Description of Work: The company's representative worked with my insurance company to facilitate a new roof installation to replace wind damaged roof which was leaking. I have complete confidence in this company's reputation and quality of work and would hire them for future work without hesitation. They came to check out my roof after the tornado of 2015 and found not damage, thankfully.

Description of Work: Carried out an overhaul of both the pitched and the flat roofs. 2 crews came and carried the work we agreed, cleaned up and left the job well done. The proof will be over time, but throughout the process Scotts did what they said they would do, on time and on cost.

Description of Work: We had a roof leak. They came out on time and figured out the problem. They did not try to oversell. They gave a fair quote and got it done that week. All fixed. I wish all contractors were this fair and competent.

They finished it in one day of about 13 hours on a Thursday. Rain was predicted for Friday and they didn't want to leave it over the weekend. This was especially amazing because the temperature topped 100 that day. They did a good job, using good materials, and the porch roof especially is better than ever, and has metal flashing to keep it from rotting again. They do not do painting, however. If you don't do that yourself you will have to contract that separately.

Panic call to Scott Roofing was answered quickly and professionally and with some empathy. Patrick called within two hours to schedule on-site inspection. Next day Patrick arrive on time and after detail inspection, including climbing around in the attic, located leak source. On the spot he installed 2 concrete tiles that we provided and PROBLEM SOLVED! The following week his crew showed up on time again and did some general roof repairs including a thorough clean up.
Description of Work: Emergency roof leak repair. Subsequent total roof inspection including valley and gutter cleaning and tile replacements as required.

Kirk and his emergency crew were here within 2 hours after I called; and they completed the emergency repairs by noon. The repairs held; and the day after the storm, they did the complete replacement. These guys are true professionals. And the price was in line with my expectations.
Description of Work: Made emergency repairs to a flat roof; then completely replaced it along with a new turbine. Emergency repairs were necessary because a storm was coming the next day; and there was not time to rebuild the entire roof on that short notice.

They arrived on the scheduled date and not only made the repair quickly but also swept and bagged all the leaves that had been lying on the roof since the fall.

THE SALESMAN AND ROOFER WERE PROMPT. ALL THE OLD MATERIALS WERE REMOVED AND YARD WAS LEFT CLEAN. THEY DID AN EXCELLENT JOB. THERE HAVE BEEN NO PROBLEMS IN SEVEN MONTHS SINCE THE NEW ROOF. THE PRICE WAS REASONABLE.
