Scott Bacon showed up at the scheduled time to measure the skylight, then provided a written estimate within 24 hours, and once I gave the go ahead, the skylight was ordered and I was called when it came in and we agreed on an installation date, and a crew showed up as scheduled and replaced the skylight. Everything was done on time, beautifully, and professionally. I highly recommend this company.

Scott came out and provided a quote. They were very responsive when others wouldn't respond. They provided a fair quote. I decided to use someone else, but have recommended them to others based on their professionalism, response and reasonable quote.

They told me it was 187.50 per hour but did not understand that was the minimum charge. The person arrived at 11:44 and left at 11:52. For 8 minutes of work I was charged 187.50. Previously they had installed a roof, siding and windows. But I will never use them again. As far as I am concerned if I had been installed properly then it should not have blown off.

Tony Moore was excellent. I would highly recommend him! Replaced 12 windows. Installed around 700 square feet of siding. Painted all exterior wood trim and siding.

Everything was done up to spec and on time. Will definitely use again for repairs/replacement.

The pricing is a little higher than competitors but the installation is very good. It's worth the price.

Fantastic from start to finish. Quick estimates. Had to send different crews over a few days due to types of jobs. The roof crew was finished on Day 1. A few days later they came back to install the rain diverter and siding to close in gable vents. After day 1, I noticed quite a bit of dry wall was damaged from sky light installation. After taking photos of the area and sending to the Scott's supervisor he said they would get it taken care of ASAP. They came a few days later and fixed the drywall and painted. I knew with all the great reviews left on Angie's list any other company might have left me hung out to dry. However, Scott's was there to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I would not hesitate to refer or use them in the future. There was some minor trash left over from the siding crew I had to pick up, but not enough to warrant a lower grade or not using them again.

Bruce Bacon came out quickly to inspect roof leaks during our mammoth rain period. He couldn't pinpoint the probelm but gave me his ideas which seemed reasonable. He gave me a written estimate and said that he could perform the work quickly. The work was performed but resulted in damage to the existing gutters. He saw to it that repairs were made to my satisfaction. All leaks have been stopped.

Bruce Bacon came out and gave me a written estimate Work was started as soon as the siding could be found. Work went well and was accomplished after a minor problem which was out of their control. Bruce was always available for any questions that came up.

Crew was awesome. Punctual, professional. I would use them again in a heartbeat.

They installed a replacement skylight last summer, and it leaked during the first major storm we had. They came back I don't know how many times, and stayed in contact, through many storms. It was a pain for us, but the important thing is that they kept working on it. They probably lost all their money on the deal eventually, but they kept doing the right thing. Very pleased with their ethics.

I will only go with Scott Exteriors. After 3 experiences over the years I could not ask for a more reliable company. I also love that it is family owed.

The failure of Scott Exteriors to perform a professional job caused the home to fill with gas potentially threatening my 8 year olds health and safety since his room is closest to the leak. Despite pleas to fix the problem which might take a few hours, they have not done so. My home is not currently habitable. But for a quick thinking neighbor the home may have blown up.

I scheduled with Scott Exteriors to have them come out as I'd experienced a small leak in a flat roof at my townhome when Tropical Storm Bill came through. The leak could not be duplicated, but I wanted it looked at. They are very busy so it takes a while for them to get out which is understandable. Manuel and KC came out on Wednesday, 7/15/15, and Manuel inspected the roof and advised that there were several areas near flashing and a pipe in the wall where the leak could be coming from. He explained that repairs could be made to the roof. The next morning, Thursday, 7/16/15, I received a call from KC who stated they needed to come back to the house and do a leak test on the roof and would be charging $200 for it. KC and Marcus came out. They were late. KC stated he is new at this profession. They had me bring one of my garden hoses from my garage up to the flat roof, and they turned it on and laid it on the roof to let the water fill up to see if they could recreate the leak which I had already told them that the leak could not be recreated. Meanwhile, Marcus went around the edge and started tearing up some of my roof. I told him to stop doing that. He began saying that I needed a new TPO roof, a new roof deck, all new flashing, a metal covering over the privacy wall near the leak, a new gutter, etc., etc., etc. He pulled on a different privacy wall between my home and the neighbor on the side opposite the leak with great force, rocking it back and forth. Meanwhile, the leak test did not recreate the leak or cause any leaking that we could see. Marcus then said he was going to start cutting into my roof in different places to see if it was wet underneath. I told him NO, that he would be damaging my roof and the roof was full of water, and he would cause a leak. I had no contract with them at this time. He then wanted to come back the next day when the roof was dry and cut into my roof in many places searching for holes. I told him that would damage my roof. He said he would bring his torch and repair the holes ... I would rate Thursday as an F for confusion and waste of my time - not because they felt I needed a new roof necessarily, but for the lack of professionalism, stress, and waste of my time. I called Scott Exteriors the next morning and explained what had happened and how very confusing the conflicting information was. I then spoke to Manuel and explained again. Manuel advised that he had told them to only do the leak test and there would be no charge for it. He explained that the roof deck was not rotted, and they could repair the existing roof. He said he would talk with Marcus. KC called and set up an appointment with KC and the owner who came out Monday 7/27/15 at 11:00 a.m. I texted CK at 10:00 as I was at work and he confirmed they would be at my house at 11:00. I left work and got to my house a little before 11. They, however called and said they would be 20 minutes late. I was doing this during my lunch hour and only had an hour. I told them this. They were 25 minutes late. This is the third time I've had to take off work to show this company my roof in order to get their opinion and an estimate. The owner stated they could repair the roof and that the roof was in good condition. There was an area in which the roof deck underneath the roof was rotted, but that could be repaired. He said Manuel had no experience with flat roofs and KC was new. He was quick to get a bid to me by that evening for repairs. I wrote him back asking for an estimate on the roof deck repair and a new roof for comparison. I received the estimate. The owner seemed professional and knowledgeable. I would not recommend them for anything that's not a cookie cutter simple roof job.

Everything went great from beginning to end. I am waiting for the invoice to come in the mail. I haven't paid them a penny yet and the job was completed a week ago. They are knowledgeable and professional and their bid was competitive with Lowe's and Home Depot, but without the sleazy hard-sell.

May 2015 was an extremely wet month. Sunroom developed a bad leak. Got 2 estimates and decided on Scott Exteriors. Their price was a little lower but the deciding factor was Bruce. He seemed very knowledgeable and personable. He explained all our options and gave his recommendation, which made sense to us. He kept us updated on when he'd start, due to continuing weather conditions. His crew arrived on date and on time. Job took 2days and clean-up was great. AL discount was honored. Everything went smooth as butter. Since installation, we've had many rain storms in DFW, which was a great test of their workmanship. I'm glad to say they passed with flying colors!

Bruce was my sales guy and he did great at communication with me. I wish I could recall the names of the men that did work on my home, but they were all polite and efficient.

We were very pleased with the experience with Scott Exteriors. Everyone was friendly and professional, from setting up the appointment to inspection to follow up appointments and installation. Everything was explained fully and work proceeded exactly as scheduled. Our property was thoroughly cleaned up. We are happy with the new roof and would highly recommend this company to others.

We had some scattered leaks on our 15 year old home. Patrick Pearson came out, and inspected our roof, and reassuringly said that we did not need a complete re-roofing, but that only needed to replace damaged tiles, that were scattered around the roof. We signed the estimate and got it back to Scott Exteriors. The actual workers came promptly on the scheduled date, but we never saw Mr. Pearson during the time the repairs were made. There was a fair amount of residual debris through the yard around the work areas, much of which I had to clean up myself. Fast forward 2 months later, and we now have a new leak, near where the repair work was done, along with a recurrent leak at a site that was supposed to be repaired. Mr. Pearson came back to re-evaluate. He wasn't very friendly to my wife. His explanation was that it was now likely a chimney problem. Funny, but we didn't have any problems in this area until after Scott Exterior workers had been on our roof. Maybe this is a coincidence.... ? New estimate: $1000. I think we will look at other contractors.

Patrick Pearson came out promptly on Monday 1/5/2015 and scheduled work for the next day. We had a damaged roof vent and shingles that had resulted in rain leaking into attic. Because of forecast freezing temps and more rain in the next few days we didn't want to wait to get the damage repaired. We are very grateful that they came out today and totally fixed the problem. Roof vent was removed, new decking and shingles applied, work area left immaculate.....looks great and the attic is secure and dry!
