We noticed a water leak on an interior wall and had them come out and inspect our roof. They found all the rubber boots were cracked on vent stacks and one had a large hole in it. They came back and replaced all of them. They also painted the flashing to match and provided photos of issues so that we could see what was wrong before work was done. They were very responsive and work was done quickly and professionally. I would definitely use them again.

Scott Roofing never gave up until the issue was resolved and was always very polite and punctual when we called them back. They provided pictures and detailed analysis of what they were doing each time and discussed with us why the issue was not resolved at first. We found their price fair, their commitment to service outstanding, and their workmen always professional.

The representative worked around my schedule, showed up for the appointment on time, and gave me a prompt estimate. The work was scheduled within a week. The crew didn't fix the whole leak the first time - they had to return two more times but the crew was very professional about it at said they will finish the job they started. I have a leak free roof now and a very positive experience with the company.

Extremely satisfied with Scott Roofing and would gladly recommend them to others. While they may not be the cheapest, they certainly deliver excellent service and high quality workmanship for this very important component of one's home.

I spent $900 on that work. I would recommend them to other members. We did have some problems with the roofer getting back to us. There was a time when he would take off for a week and not call us back. He ended up doing a good job but they did make some mistakes initially but they came back and fixed it. I would use them again but I would be more careful.

They provided excellent service. My sales rep was Bruce. They showed up on time and they let me know when they were coming. I was able to get an appointment quickly. The sales rep and workers were nice. I had a good experience with them. The patio cover is perfect and doesn't drip. Their price was okay. I would certainly use them in the future.

Bruce Bacon was wonderful to work with. I usually go to Angie's List for contractors but my gutter contractor, Gary Vinson with the Gutter Brothers said that he had worked several jobs with Scott Roofing and they could fix things that other companies could not. He told me they were honest and that I could trust their pricing and their expertise. Bruce Bacon responded immediately to my phone call and arranged an appointment for his estimate. He moved quickly for me as we were in one of those very stormy Dallas periods and he didn't want my problem to worsen. The roofers came when promised and fixed my issue.

The technician who came out to give us a quote was very easy to work with and took pictures to show us what was going on up there. Very helpful.

The phone reception was courteous. The inspector called fairly promptly and made a appointment to visit the home. The time frame for this was very good. Inspector diligently examined roof and photographed several areas for explanation. A proposal was submitted within 24 hours and the work was scheduled and performed within a week. The inspector was very nice to work with. I was pleased with this experience!

Overall, great. Initially, my email with the signed contract was misplaced on the Scott side, but once they confirmed the date they would arrive, they came on time and completed work as requested. They even cleaned out one of the eaves of leaves after finding it was stuffed full. I will be using them again.

Swimmingly--no pun intended. Patrick the estimator was hours early instead of late (and called regularly to update me). His workers were totally organized, set to work, and completed the job. Our roof behaves like a roof again, instead of a sieve. And the 10% coupon on Angie's List site was an extra bonus.

First I want to say that Bruce Bacon was totally professional and someone I would work with in a different company. I do believe that the sub-contractors and or the workers that actually do the work are sub par. I did get all the work done as requested but from the time of the bid to the completion took about 45 days. My overall experience was not as good as I thought it would be. Maybe this was an isolated case but I can tell you that most of my issues were with the actual workers. The only other issue was that the price of the work was very inflated based on the work that was actually done.

Punctual and professional. Did entire job in a little more than a day with a crew of men. When they were done could not tell they had been here and the roof looked great with no problems since.

Very well. Bruce from Scott's Roofing came out and took pictures. Within a day he sent the pictures along with a clear estimate price. We agreed to the work and his team arrived on time and completed the work on time. The took good care in disposing off the old roof and all the other trash. Bruce was courteous and professional, as were the workers. He came to check up on things during the work and was available to discuss any questions I had.

Kirk came to the house and walked me through all of the possible repair optiona based on what they might find when they removed the problem area. The repairs were what Kirk thought they would be and the bill was right on target. I am selling my house in the spring and Kirk provioded a warrranty in case anything came up in the inspection process.

We had a bad storm and the next morning I found the ceiling drywall in my bathroom wet and damaged. I called Scott Roofing who had put the roof on for me 8 years ago. Patrick came out within a couple of days which was fairly quick considering the backup expected from the storm. He inspected my roof and found that the leak had come from a crack in the skylight. He checked the rest of the roof for me and indicated it was in good shape. We scheduled the appointment for the repair which I did not have to be at home for. We've had subsequent strong rainfalls and I didn't have any further problems. I was happy with the roof installation they did and so far this appears to have been a good job as well.

I had some moisture damage on the soffit that I thought was due to some roofing problem. The representative from Scott's roofing (i don't remember his name checked my roofing and said my roof is in good shape but that my gutters were not installed properly and suggestede that I get in touch with a good gutter company

I called one afternoon and their representative came the following morning. He went into the attic to examine the leak and then onto the roof (in a rainstorm). He then explained exactly what needed to be done and provided a written estimate. I agreed to the work and the crew came the next day. A professional, efficient approach and a pleasant experience from beginning to end. I am totally satisfied with this company.

He gave me an estimate for the repair but he also showed me a cheaper way to do it myself. He was very professional and polite. I appreciate his honesty and helpfulness.

I called, they checked the roof, confirmed that there was damage, and repaired it.

Everything went smoothly until the installation date. Things they did well: 1. They explained very well what to expect and how long it would take. 2. They were courteous and respectful, except when they wanted 3. They completed almost all of the work when they said they would. 4. They replaced what they damaged very quickly, and accepted responsibility for it. 5. They did the needed rework when asked. What they didn't do so well: 1. Nobody that remained on the job all day spoke English. So when there was a problem, there was no one there to discuss it with, nor anyone who could solve the problem. I had to wait several hours before I was able to speak with the foreman. 2. They leaned the ladder against the gutter when moving all of the shingles to the roof. This bent the gutter. They did replace it. 3. They did not remove the satellite dish, but left it, and the shingles underneath it, in place, and shingled over them. This left a funny 'bump' in the roof. I pointed this out to the foreman and asked why, he said he saw I was working and didn't want me to lose my internet connection. I don't use satellite for internet, and that should have been my call, not his. He came out the next evening and removed the satellite dish and re-roofed the area. However, the dish needed to be realigned after wards. He also spray painted everything brown, including the shingles, so it looked pretty sloppy. I had to arrange for the satellite company to come out a few days later and reinstall the dish. 4. The estimate included replacing the metal drip edge. They told me that in order to do that, they would need to take the gutters off, and that they would probably break the leaf guards and they would not replace them. The leaf guards were there when Joe did his estimate, and he could have easily seen the access (or lack thereof) to the drip edges. I don't think he did a thorough inspection before the estimate. Anyway, the way it was explained was that the drip edges were good, and it would be a big problem to replace the edges (I had to point out to them they had not replaced the edges...they didn't offer me that information). I said OK. However, they didn't not remove the cost of the edging and installation from their bill! 5. They removed the skylight, and when they reinstalled it, they did not replace the foam padding around the edge of the skylight. Fortunately, we had heavy winds the next day, and I could hear the skylight whistling. While they did replace the foam edging, I had to remind them twice when they called for the final payment that I wasn't going to make the final payment until the skylight was fixed. Maybe I'm naive and they are typical of roofers. But I'm not confident that I was treated honestly and fairly. I was told by Joe that he "didn't think I wanted to pay for the roofing." I didn't appreciate his comment. He was a different person after the sale was made.
