Scott Exteriors did an excellent job. The job estimator met me at the agreed upon appointment time. The actual job started on time and finished within the promised time window. The crew cheif walked me through the steps and procedures that they were going to do. The job site was cleaned thoroughly when the job was complete. And the inspector walked me through what he was looking for to ensure that the work was done as promised. I am completely satisfied with their work and would recommend the to others.

Went very well, especially the quick response to my initial call and the relatively quick return to my house to do the job. Three guys came, so it went quickly and limited the amount of time I missed work. Roofers in Dallas are very busy due to storms and Scott responded faster than the other two companies I called. The vent is still working great after two very hot weeks.

They arrived in a timely manner for the estimate and were very curteous. I received their estimate later the same day (complete with pictures of the damage). I approved the work and it was completed the same week. I was not home at the time of the work but they did email me when they were at my property. I have not had any issues with the repairs and the leak appears to be fixed.

Patrick of Scott Exteriors promptly responded to my call for an estimate. He came out as scheduled with a window sample. He was very knowledgable of the product, detailed about the installation process, and answered all our questions. Patrick was very easy to talk to and did not express any sales pressure. His estimate was very good compared to another quote we had obtained. We saw his work at a neighbor's house and were extremely impressed with the product and installation. It was on her recommendation (she has used Scott Exteriors many times) that we called for an estimate. I was surprised to find that I had already in the past found Scott Exteriors on Angie's List and had them in my favorites as a possible contact. Scott Exteriors' crew (Dale the supervisor, Jim, and Teddy) did a wonderful job. They arrived as scheduled and worked as promised each of the three days. They were extremely professional and knowledgeable. They were very friendly and answered any questions we had. They were very accommodating to my pets and my husband's working from his home office. They made no mess at all. They draped, floor to ceiling, plastic around each window during removal and installation. Everything was vacuumed, window treatments and pictures removed and replaced flawlessly. When I entered a room after the installation, you couldn't even tell they had been in the room. We had some tricky wood trim around some windows and plantation shutters as well. They were able to remove and replace the windows without any damage. Each window looks beautifully installed inside and outside. On the last day, they even revisited each window to be sure everything was caulked to their approval. We were told to contact them with any future problems or the need for more matching caulk. My husband and I highly recommend Scott Exteriors. Very professional, fast, excellent company to work with in all areas. I would use them for any additional work needed on my house.

They did a professional job and it appears to have worked, although we have not had a significant rain since the repairs. The cost of the repairs seemed very high relative to the 1-2 hours that the job took.

We contacted Scott Exteriors after consulting Angie's List. They came out as scheduled, identified the damage and left an estimate. We agreed on a date, and the repairs were made as agreed. Scott was efficient, reliable and non-alarmist. Another roofing company had told us that the whole roof needed to be replaced! Scott (and the insurance adjuster) dissagreed. We were impressed with their professionalism and will certainly call them again if we have any further work to be done.

Jordan worked with me on the multiple schedule changes I made during this process. He gave me a very reasonable price for patching up some sewer vent pipes. The patches were done very professionally, from stud to stud, with new deck put in place. Great overall experience.

They were on time for the estimate, on time for the work and when there was a minor problem with the completion they came out the next day and fixed the problem.

Roof was leaking in area where it overhangs porch. I called Scott Roofing (and a couple of others) for an estimate to repair, and they responded quickly with what appeared to be a very fair estimate. The work was performed a couple of days later. I was not there for the actual work, but when I returned in the evening, the job was finished, and the area was cleaned up meticulously. They did exactly what they had promised to do, and the new shingles matched perfectly. I have waited on this critique, as I wanted to see if there were any further leaks in that area. There have been none, and I am extremely pleased with this fix.

They were very professional and came over initially to give a free estimate. The salesperson was very thorough in inspecting hte roof and reviewed all the areas that needed repair. Even looked up a couple of spots and said he will include those in the job. Gave me a written estimate on the spot. Scheduled a few days later. The roofer was very good and thorough in the work he did. fixed the area and fixed a few other weak spots on request. Very professional and answered all my qeustions. The work is standing up great. very satisfied.

1975 Townhouse w/sagging flat roof. Even with new BUR overlay it still leaked. Had previous company out approximately 10 times and they never could get leaks stopped. I emailed Scott through Angies List and immediated received a response from Hordan Wassel. He was extremely knowledgable and friendly, answered all of my questions and setup an appointment. We agreed on using tapered insulation to give some slope to the roof surfaces. A written estimate was provided and the work was scheduled. All work was done excellently and on schedule. Jordan kept me appraised of progress and what was being done with each visit. We have not had a single leak, even with the terrible weather we have had this spring. I would unhesitatingly recommend Scott Exteriors to anyone and if I even need anything else I will use them.

I feel like I was treated very rudely once they had the money. They couldn't have been nicer initially. When I asked if they used subcontractors, I (and later my neighbor) interpreted the sales person's response as no. They do use subcontractors. Maybe all roofing companies do but a simple yes would have been preferred. There was mis-communication between us and the sales person. The owner wont even listen to what I have to say since his salesman has already given him his side of the story, my side regarding any lack of quality in workmanship isn't worth listening to, discussing or seeing. They say I knew that they were going to put flashing right by our front door where there hadn't been any before. I thought he was talking about around the side of the porch area. They could have done a much better job with this flashing and they have offered to come back but I just don't feel the need to be treated this way. They say they'll fix any issues if I email a request but when I was talking with the owner he said that he wont have a "he said she said" discussion when I tried to verbally explain the issues in our first and only conversation. They did fix a small section of brick that the roofers knocked loose when removing the old shingles, only after I discovered it and pointed it out to them. The roofers left this loose section of brick sitting on a slanted area of the roof near the front door. If it had fallen off and hit someone it could have seriously injured or killed them. They did fix another area that was not done well initially. How do you fix the wrong color of drip guard or bent drip guard after the shingles are already on? I found one place where there is a gap in the flashing that lets daylight into the attic. When I showed the supervisor I was told that is normal. There is another place where it looks like they just jaggedly tore the shingle that sticks out over the edge. We never got far enough in our conversation to bring some of these things up. I mentioned to the owner that the only criteria seemed to be how fast the roofers could get done. Once again he said to email a request of anything I wanted fixed. He also mentioned that they are now recommending to their customers to wait awhile before having their roofing redone so more attention can be given to the job. Wish they'd made that recommendation to me.

I contacted Scott Exteriors based on the excellent reviews on Angie's List and the fact that they had a coupon available to members. Bruce Bacon arrived on time to give us a quote. He was very thorough, answered all of our questions, and had a full quote to us via email in less than 24 hours. We received a quote of $10,295, and although we went with another lower company due to a lower bid, I was pleased with the communication between Scott Exteriors and would recommend them.

They did a lot of followups, they were really easy to talk to and they answered lot of questions. They understood and knew their products well. They were helpful in doing window comparisons too, which I thought was good.

They guy was very knowledgeable about the windows. They took out the old windows and replaced new ones. They also did a little bit of siding. He came out and showed me different windows. They had different price quotes and I didn't feel like he was trying to sell the most expensive ones. They came out and did quickly. They came when they said they will come and took as long as they said they would take.

Roofers arrived at appointed time and performed work as requested and quoted. They also exceeded my expectations by sweeping leaves out of the gutters for me.

I called and left a message with them to get an estimate for a roof repair. By the time they called me back, a couple of days later, I had already hired another company.

The company was very responsive to my call for an estimate (next day) and the estimator took time to explain the issues involved and was very professional in his approach, particularly given the small size of the job. They were able to set up a time within two days to get a crew out to do the repair. The crew was on time and did an excellent job on the repair. After the repair was complete, the tech noticed a couple of small areas where there were some displaced shingles and took it upon himslef, at no additional charge, to make the quick repairs. I will definitely call Scott again when I need any kind of siding or window work done.

Job was performed well. Had to come back and do more work on the sky light to keep it from rattling, but second time did the trick.

bidding and construction of the project went fairly well. Patrick was very responsive an easy to work with. There have been some minor repairs/revisions needed since then and Patrick and his crew have responded very quickly. Considering the size of the project, I am satisfied with this company

First we got an estimate and the representative was very professional. He said we had a few shingles that needed replacing to minor hail damage but overall the roof just needed to be swept clean of tree limbs, etc. and painting the stacks. We received the estimate by email, signed it, scanned it and emailed it back on a Friday and Monday morning they showed up. It took about 2 hours, everything was cleaned up and we were satisfied with the work.

Excellent company to do business with! Our sales rep (Joe Clifford) was very efficient, professional and friendly, the work team was efficient and incredibly neat! (after they left, we scanned the yard to pick up stray roofing nails, and we were surprised that we could only find 3 of them!...amazing!) The work team's supervisor, "Chief", was also very professional and friendly...he called several days after completion of the work and set an appointment to make sure we were satisfied with their work, asked if we had any concerns, etc. That "service after the sale/work" impressed us greatly! We absolutely WILL use this company again! (they also did our neighbor's roof and they reported being very pleased with Scott Roofing, as well)

Some personal friends who own a business across the street from them recommended them. I appreciated his thoroughness in his bid, his professionalism and his honesty. The references he provided said that they were great and they were very pleased with the work they engaged him to do. Others thought highly of the person and I did too. When I found out that the owner who came out to give the bid was a former CPA who started his own business and was quite successful, I was even more impressed because the integrity of CPAs is without question. He was very punctual and very professional.
