landline phone service
+ -1 moreThe installation and service have been what I always expect from the phone company;the bill is understandable;the service is predictable and reliable. The Internet service is excellent;I chose the high speed DSL 3-6 MG, and it provides the same speed as cable and is much steadier. I felt like I have much more consistent speed. Additionally, my phone works during ice storms and power outages! I am pleased to have "restored the cord."
Description of Work: I switched back to AT&T from Time Warner;TWC had provided my high speed Internet, premium cable, and voice for 1-year;in that year the price jumped by over $45! I returned to AT&T DSL and voice;I plan to add Cingular wireless. I could not include dish satellite because of my home's location.

+ -1 moreTHE GUYS WHO CAME OUT WERE VERY KNOWLEDGEABLE AND EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM THOROUGHLY. I WAS VERY IMPRESSED WITH THEIR ATTITUDE AND WORK ETHIC, TO NOT TRY AND PATCH FIX, BUT TAKE THE TIME TO REWIRE IT CORRECTLY THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE INITIALLY. AND, WE WERE NOT CHARGED A CENT BECAUSE WE HAVE IN-LINE SERVICE.
Description of Work: WHEN WE MOVED HERE IN AUGUST, THE PHONES WERE NOT WORKING, EVEN THOUGH WE HAD SCHEDULED THEM TO BE TURNED ON THE DAY OF OUR MOVE. SBC DID SEND SOMEONE OUT AND HE GOT OUR PHONE LINES WORKING, BUT DID NOT HAVE TIME TO CORRECT SOME LINES THAT THE PREVIOUS OWNER CHANGED. (4 JACKS WERE NOT WORKING.) THEY RETURNED, AND TWO GUYS WORKED ON IT FOR OVER AN HOUR AND A HALF AND RE-WIRED THE PHONES BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CORRECT CIRCUIT.
