Rodger's Plumbing

Prior to doing a major flooring replacement job, we wanted to test our house to see if it had an undetected slab leak. The house is 30 years old and has not had a slab leak in the past to our knowledge. The plumber showed up on time and was very polite. The leak testing involved timing a pressure test on the supply lines and plugging and filling the sewer line and observing its level over time. Both sets of lines passed the test. We were pleased. We had used Rodger's Plumbing in the past to replace 2 water heaters and add automated shut off valves. They did a great job then and we believed they would do so again, and they did. Highly recommended!

I called at 8:30 AM on MLK day. Rodgers Plumbing was able to come to my home to fix the problem within 2 hours. I was called about 15 minutes prior to the technician's arrival. The problem was diagnosed and fixed within an hour. Kudos to Rodgers Plumbing for fast and courteous service. I highly recommend this company.

.Old kitchen faucet broke and they did a new faucet install on the same day on short notice. They were running late but called to inform me. Reasonably priced compared to the 3 other plumbers I called and were available same day.

The toilet tune-up service was excellent. Beforehand, the toilet was continuously running water after a flush while the bowl never filled with water. To stop the continuous water flow, I had to open and shut the water valve before and after using the toilet. Rodger Plumbing was very responsive to my request for the toilet tune-up service, showed up 15 minutes early, and quickly evaluated / fixed the problems with the toilet. They even replaced a toilet part not covered by the tune-up service without any incremental charge. It works good as new now.

First, the good: they were able to fit me in the day I called/ the day after I emailed. Now the bad: Two plumbers in one truck arrived about 30 minutes late (appointment was at 2; they arrived at 2:30pm). One of them looked like he was a plumber's helper. A third plumber (Robert) arrived in a separate truck around 3pm. At about 3:30, Robert told me they had to cut out bricks to fix a leak in the wall. Robert told me that it would take 4-5 hours to fix and would cost $725 (I have this all recorded on my iPhone) and likely have to do the job over two days. For that amount of time, with 3 plumbers, I thought it was a pretty good price. However, Robert did 90+% of the work, while the other two (especially the non-helper/full-on plumber) stood there watching him. (In this case, I have security footage of exactly this.) Robert was finished by 4:30pm. Despite the short amount of time it took PLUS the lack of effort from the other two guys PLUS almost no parts (~$11 in parts), they still wanted $725. I was shocked and complained, so they reduced the price to $625. $625! For 1 person's work for 1.5 hours plus negligible work by another two! Had these guys been honest and transparent about the effort, I would have called another plumber in for an estimate, even if I had to pay their service call fee. If you EVER use these guys, get the exact price upfront and find out what it includes. And do record it. Because they will lie.

Professional, on time, did the job cleanly.

Robert came out quickly after we called to schedule servce. He was efficient in getting the job done and was detailed in his explanations. He also was able to get our shut off valves at the furnace, water heater and oven up to code. When we had issues with the very picky inspector (who we later found out wasn't even the normal inspector), Rodger's Plumbing was quick to come back out and make adjustments per the city's unusal requests (shut off valve behind the oven above counter height). Overall, everyone we talked to and worked with at Rodger's Plumbing was exremely pleasant and accommodating. They went above and beyond their hired duties to make sure we had excellent customer service. I'll be using them going forward for all plumbing needs!

The plumbers came the same day they were called. They went straight to work understanding the problem and working quickly to resolve it. During that time they were also very patient in answering my questions about the cause and any preventative measures that could be employed to minimize future occurrences. I was satisfied with the promptness and knowledge/experience.

They had to create a clean out first and then replace multiple sewer lines under my home which was built in 1972. 3 full days - 2 to 4 plumbers at any one time.

I had wanted to purchase two deals but when he came out he said one of the toilets would be too complicated and cost additional money. So I only had him change one toilet because I wanted a black toilet; there was nothing wrong with it. In the process of removing the old toilet he told me there was a crack that would cause issues with the new toilet and it would be an additional $168 plus tax. I told him I didn't have this and wouldn't pay it as the toilet was fine before he removed it. He then told me " give me $100 and I won't put it on the paper work." It was clear they were here to find some reason to charge me additional charges over the $185 for my toilet installation.

I contacted Rodger's through Angie's List and they were very quick to reply. The lady who called me back understood what I was looking for (I had sent pictures). She was not just "someone at the front" which was a real help. Robert came out with an assistant to do the work, which was under the house. He was very nice and super competent. A real pleasure to work with. The cast iron replacement came right on budget, the hose replacement was under budget! Would definitely use them again!

It was perfect. What stood out is their efficiency.

The technician Dean unstopped my kitchen sink which wasn't draining properly.

They are very good. I would recommend them to everyone.

We found out we had a leak because our water bill was extremely high. The leak area appeared to be along the fence line but had been covered with leaves so we hadn't noticed the water puddling. Tiffany had someone come to the house by the next day. Keith was prompt and found the leak pretty quickly. It had not been repaired correctly from being broken during the construction of our new fence over a year ago and most likely burst when we had a recent freeze. In all he was finished before lunch time.

I called them at 10 AM and they were out here and done by 1PM. They are a fabulous company. They have done work for me for years. They always do a fabulous job.

The people that came were pleasant, professional, helpful, and explained our options to us. They were clean and covered the floors where they walked. They were very good -- prompt and communicated well.

They did a good job. They came out and didn't have all the right connectors so they had to go back and get that. It leaks after that but they came back and fixed it without an additional charge. It was an okay experience. It wasn't great. They came pretty past because we were kind of semi-desperate. My husband was he one who scheduled it. We got the the next day. It was expensive. It was a little bit more than we thought it was going to be. I think they came when they said they would. I will possible use them again. Usually my husband would do it but he was not able to this time so we had to use their service. He does a lot of our plumbing work himself. I would not be adverse to using them. I will probably try ad find somebody who is a little bit cheaper. We were satisfied with the service. I wouldn't give a glowing report but they gave us a good job for what we asked them to do.

We thought our hot water heater had to be replaced as there was a leak. However, when Keith looked at it he saw the cold water intake was rusted and the leak was there. He checked the hot water heater and assured us it was fine. He replaced the nipple and advised us to set up a fan to dry the area. He also checked our water meter to ensure there was no leak. Great job and very kind.

They are competitively and they can usually always get here the same day or the next day. They are always very helpful and very friendly.

I couldn't be happier! When no one else was available Rodger's sent Keith out, he got here sooner than they expected, diligently worked on the problem (and was super neat to boot) and walked me through all the steps necessary for inspection and having the gas turned back on. Rodger's was a life saver! I will definitely use their services again.

The water my husband had seen two hours earlier had already dried, so the tech told me there was absolutely nothing wrong wrong. Then he proceeded to charge me the the full fee for a first visit less 5% FOR DOING NOTHING!!!! If there was a charge of maybe $50 to cover gas and time of the tech, I certainly would have paid it But to charge me for work that wasn't performed is robbery and I feel cheated!!!!

Called on Monday to repair water connection to toilet. They were going to come out that day. Wife decided we should replace toilet instead of repairing. I called back to reschedule for Tuesday morning to give me time to go out and purchase the new toilet. They showed up on time. Worked quickly and were done in a flash. They removed all the trash associated with the install as well as the old toilet.

He has done several jobs for me, he is always here on time, couldn't be nicer, and always cleans up and leaves no mess.
