"Mike" came to the house and gave us the extimate on Jan 6, 2010. By 8/18/10 we had already called 3 times to complain about sticking doors and cracking in the sheetrock and obvious tilting of the floor in the back room. (The carport, overall, has held fairly steady) Mike said he "forgot all about it" and would get to it this week. After sending his crew to repair it once again, (he did not stay or supervise), with in a few months the problems began all over again. By 3/5/2011, Mike agreed that he needed to install cement pads, and that it was currently "not holding". He said he would get to it "some Saturday". He said he would stay with the job. When they finally came, he dropped them off and went elsewhere. When it didn't hold, we called again. Mike explained that we were now costing him $500 a trip and that this would be the last time he would come out, without a new contract and more money. By then we were completely dissatisfied with his work and work ethic and we turned to others for help. When a friend of ours finally crawled under the house (we are in our sixties), he was able to demonstrate to me that none of the braces under the house were holding any weight! We have since had the work corrected by another contractor.
