 + -1 moreWe are very satisfied with the process and really like our new vanity with the granite top. Doug is a good listener and uses people who are proficient in their areas of expertise. The craftmanship was first quality and work was done on schedule. There was never a mess to clean up.
Description of Work: removal of old vanity and installation of new vanity towel bars and lighting fixture changed walls painted after tile tear down cracks above doors repaired and texture added

 + -1 moreIt went great. There was a huge difference in professionalism and job quality from the two previous companies that had done work for us. Doug responded quickly to our initial call and paid a follow up visit prior to the job to ensure that the tile color and finish was correct. He followed up with calls before and during the job to make sure we were included in each step. Doug was there the morning the job began and followed up after the job to make sure it looked good and we were happy. Doug's guys appeared trustworthy and I went on to work and left them there alone. I think he did more detail work than was described in our estimate but he didn't ask for more money. I like the appearance and the subtle change in slope to the shower floor. We're altogether very pleased!
Description of Work: Replaced tile in bathroom that was cracked and leaking into the shower pan. Doug came out and evaluated the damage and explained the options and potential extent of the job depending on the underlying integrity of the shower structure. He dug out the old tile and scraped out the old materials that were holding the tile to the floor. He searched around tile companies and found a good match for our existing tile. He evaluated the stability of the tile going up the walls and whether the old shower pan was still usable. He installed the new tiles using the proper mounting and adhesives for the situation. New grout was installed and the job area was finished out and cleaned up.

These guys are not the cheapest, just pay a little more... they are worth it. Doug and his crew really care about making the customer happy. I am very picky, and these guys met my needs. I highly recommend.
Description of Work: Tear out existing shower and tub. Build new shower (open design, pony walls). Install whirlpool tub, design and buld new tub deck.

 + -1 moreDoug arrived at exactly the scheduled appointment time. He and I spent an hour and a half discussing the size and scope of the project. He asked all the appropriate questions, and I believed that he could be the right person for the job. He and I discussed that my budget was $6000. After two requests for a bid - and three weeks later, the bid came in $2500 over budget. This was after asking whether he had time for the project and whether my budget was realistic. Both answers were yes. I was ready to hire him, but I am truly disappointed in the cost of the bid and waiting three weeks for it.
Description of Work: Just a bid. Would have liked to do business with him. Costs were too high for my budget.
