They were running a little bit early but called to let me know ahead of time but by the time they got started it was 15 minutes after the original start time. Two ladies arrived introduced themselves asked what specifics I wanted cleaned and told me they would be their for 3 hours. It's $28 per hour per worker. One could speak English the other only Spanish. Raquel's Cleaning service wants you to be present in the house while they are there. I told the English speaking lady that I didn't want my office cleaned or my staircases. I asked her twice not to clean the stairs but she kept doing it. I had just had my stairs steamed cleaned a few days before so I didn't find it necessary. I found her to be a little pushy about cleaning them. She did hand groom them with a carpet brush which made them look a lot better but I have 5 levels of stairs in my townhouse so it took some time to clean so I was a little frustrated but like I said she did a good job. They cleaned my fans and ceiling vents. They dusted my furniture and blinds but I didn't feel like they did an exceptional job- I could still see dust when they left- I felt like they just stirred it up in the bedroom more than anything. My kitchen and bedrooms were cleaned pretty good as well as the bathrooms. At the end I told them not to spend a lot of time downstairs in the game room (especailly since I had moved most of the furniture out into the garage for my steam cleaning the previous day), I felt like they spent a lot of time down there plus an extra 30 minutes on the clock- I asked them if they were about done and she said yes but still took a little longer- I'm not entirely sure why it took so long I didn't even let them clean the bathroom down there because that's were I keep the cat litter box. So by the end of the day it ended up being 3 hours and 30 minutes which I ended up having to pay extra for the 30 minutes. I said something to the English speaking lady but she did not really care and I'm a nonconfrontational type of person so I just paid it. I may use them again just because they got so many good reviews to give them another shot but all and all my husband and I were not to impressed.

They do a real good job and Raquel is very nice to deal with and very helpful. I think her prices are very fair. I would give her an A for everything.

Overall I am very satisfied. At first I wanted to meet with someone from the service at my home to get a quote. This might be a good idea for someone with a very specific price range. In my case I had decided to get it cleaned anyway, and the base price of 2 people, 2 hours, $120 seemed fair. It took a little time to actually coordinate a time. But once scheduled the service arrived on time, and even called me to ask if a bedroom with a closed door (my daughter's) should be cleaned or not. I appreciated that effort. The house looked great when they were finished!

Overall, my wife and I were very impressed they way they cleaned up all the dust / dirt /grime in the house. This home was a foreclosure and so it was not cleaned on a weekly or monthly basis. The house is a not a junker or fixer upper by all means, just sat vacant for a year or so. We realize that Raquels Cleaning service is not your ordinary maid service. They were more professional in terms of accommodating us the customer. I called Raquels a week in advance to schedule the deep clean the following Tuesday. They had an opening and scheduled me for that morning. She quoted me a price based on how many hours it would take to deep clean a 4,000 sqft home. $450 to $500. Monday evening came along and when I went to check on the wood floor installers to see how they were doing. I realize then that they were not going to finished that day and needed to come back on Tuesday to finish up. So I called Raquel and felt bad that I had to reschedule for another day but she was totally content and understanding of the situation. The following 2nd day was the 4th of July and my wife and I were hoping that they would be available to do the cleaning then. To our surprise she was able to find a cleaning crew who was willing to work on the 4th and clean our house. This was customer service at its finest. The team arrived on time and worked the whole 5 hours cleaning our house. Overall, we were satisfied with the cleaning and would use them in the future for other cleanings. Thank you Raquel, we will definitely refer you to our friends and family.

As all other reviews indicate, the service was great. Once I called them they were very responsive and managed to schedule me for an appointment when I needed them. On the day of the cleaning, They arrived 15 minutes late which is not a big deal to me. Once cleaning they were great and continued non stop. I will certainly use them in the future but as far as being the bees knees? No they are not the cleaners for a customer with OCD but they get the job done well.

The experience was great. Prompt and complete cleaning. We are very happy and have already scheduled them to return on a monthly basis.

Called and immediately spoke to Raquel on a Monday and set up a time of 9am on Thursday. Got a all from Raquel Wednesday to reschedule for 12 on Thursday. Two members of her staff arrived on time and worked till 4:30. They really worked hard while I was gone.and upon returning home saw them cleaning above the cabinets (something I hadn't expected. I will certainly recommend them and will use them again.

Raquel's Cleaning Service is very conscientious that my house really looks clean and it lasts. They pay attention to detail and they don't mind dogs. They are on the expensive side but it's a good value. I'd rather pay the extra and know that my house is clean. I have a standing appointment with them.

A team of 4 cleaners arrived as scheduled and did a thorough vacuuming, dusting and cleaning of our 3,500 sq ft. home. They did an excellent job. Cost was $30/hr per cleaner. I was impressed that they were able to accommodate my request to do the job the Friday before Memorial Day weekend, even though I was a first time user of the service.

I purchased the coupon and was able to schedule the cleaning. The company was able to schedule even though it was a quick turnaround (2 days). They were very professional and assured that they would be on time, but with not having seen the house before, could not guarantee that they would be able to do a good of a job as they would like with only that amount of time. I had them coordinate with my tenants and everything went well. They showed up on time, and the tenant pointed out what parts of the home needed cleaning (with priority). They were done in just over 2 hours. The tenant was very pleased. Afterwards, the company gave me a call to follow up. They are very professional and I will most likely use them again for the property and my own home.

This is my first time hiring a cleaning service, so I don't have much to compare to. I chose Raquel's because of the high ratings and I definitely think they've earned those. I was particularly impressed with how responsive they were. They got in touch with me immediately over email and were very good about keeping in contact. When they gave me the 3 hour estimate for the cleaning time, I was a bit skeptical. After seeing the results, the apartment really does sparkle. I think it might be cleaner than the first day we moved in. I've done a touch of research and I still think they're on the pricey side. Given their quality of work, I'll continue to use them.

They are so good. They are never late. They are supposed to be here at 9 AM and they are here at 8:50. They don't speak much English, but we can carry on a conversation with hand signals and they are beautiful girls. They come in nice clean clothes, the don't wear a uniform, but have jeans and a t-shirt that doesn't have any logos. They are quite professional. I don't know what I would do without them.

They were really good and did a great job. They were really thorough and got everything done the way I wanted it done.

They were able to come on a short notice. Last time when they came, I had an emergency cleaning to be done. They sent out people to get the work done. I had five people here and they got the work done. They pretty much do what you want. If you want them to come individually, they come out for $25 an hour. If they miss something, they don’t mind fixing it. I would use them in the future.

One of the worst parts of moving is, after the excitement of getting into a new place, you have to go back to the old place and clean like mad. Because I moved only a half block away, it was easier to move some stuff on my own than to pack it for the movers. But, I overdid things and my back was pinched and sore. I called Raquel on a Saturday and left a message, hoping to have them come out and clean on the following Monday or Tuesday. She very kindly called me back the same day to arrange service for Monday. Well, I have got to tell you, she sent a team of the hardest working ladies I have very seen. At first, there were only two ladies. When I went to check on them after an hour (I needed to take my car to the shop... oh yes, moving and car issues in the same week... I get my stress all at once), there were four ladies scrubbing furiously away. Holy moly. I wondered if, after another hour, they might double to eight! I digress. The final result, after two hours of heavy duty cleaing, was a sparkling clean apartment. So totally worth it. Apartment deposit was totally credited back to me on my final move out (this, after six years at the apartment). My friend and I were totally impressed. We will both use this company again.

We had just moved into a new home and it needed a very thurough cleaning. They did an excellent job - send three employees over and they probably spent 2 - 3 hours there. The house looked immaculate when they were done. My only complaint is that they did not clean the windowsills but overall great experience.

They did a good job...not over the top (baseboards, etc...) but a good job overall. We are actually using them again soon.They prefer to use their own cleaners which I understand, but we asked them to use our "green" cleaning supplies as I have asthma that is triggered by the chemicals in most regular brands. They happily agreed and simply said that they bill by the hour and that it may take them a bit longer to clean (which would cost us more) if the green products weren't as effective as regular cleaners. It was a risk I had to take and the price was still reasonable in my opinion.I would recommend them.

I did make sure that everything was picked up and put away so they didn't have to move or try to figure out where things went. Also, I don't have them do laundry or change sheets, I just want them to clean the house. They were very professional and polite. They worked non stop up to the last minute. I wanted them to concentrate on the bathrooms and kitchen. They did the entire house. It was spotless. I am very picky, in fact when I call Raquel, my regular maid had just finished her biweekly cleaning and I wasn't happy. I had to get the baseboards as there was still dog hair on them. These ladies wore knee pad were down on their knees getting things under cabinets and cleaning the baseboards with a cleaning rag (wet too) like they should be done. I was very impressed. I wish I could afford the services on a weekly basis, but it cost more then what I have budgeted. I would use them again, when I have company coming and it's not my week for my regular person. I would recommend them to others. They were right on time.

Scheduling the cleaning over-the-phone was relatively simple, and both Raquel and the other woman I spoke to were polite. Though we had moderately high expectations of the cleaning we would receive given the reviews of Raquel's here on Angie's List, the two women sent met them. There was a bit of a language barrier between us and the cleaners, but that wasn't a hindrance. The cleaning of the old apartment, which had two bedrooms, took approximately two hours. The charge was reasonable, and we were pleased with the results.

I called Raquel's to have this cleaned. They were prompt, nice and professional. They did a great job.
