As time passed, I discovered numerous problems. The floor under the big living room window warped in a series of waves. I complained about this, but he did not repair this. My neighbor in the unit next to mine had the same problem. My front door was hung unevenly so that it does not latch; I have to lock it for it to stay closed. My neighbor has the same problem, The window in one of the bedrooms is installed unevenly so that it is impossible to close; there is a quarter-inch gap on one end between the window and the sill when it is "closed." My neighbor has the same problem. Another window was installed improperly so that the weep holes are backwards and water collects inside instead of draining out. My shower floor was not installed to code, so that the water did not drain , but just sat in the bottom of the shower. After I researched the proper installation of showers and code specs, he did redo the shower floor. I worry about the bathtub's installation. The landscaping was done so that the front lawn does not drain. Our front sidewalk has a two-inch lake for several hours after the sprinkler runs. No other sidewalk on our street has this problem, though the sprinklers run at least as much as ours. My dryer vent was poorly installed so that birds flew into it and died. Twice!!! I had to have that fixed. The same thing happened to my neighbor; she also had to have her dryer vent properly covered. These are just too many poorly constructed items for a condo that cost this much money. I have not talked to the builder about all of these things, because nothing was done about my warped floor or my crooked door. I would not buy another home built by this company, I would not recommend this builder.
