Quality 1 Energy Systems

It was alright. I bought the deal & I did not hear from them. I called them today and they told me they did not service my area. He was nice on the phone.

2nd yr i've used them. they do a good job. feel like they're honest. they are coming back again to reck everything for winter at no charge. didn't realize the coupon was for winter too. so that's nice. will use them again in future.

I was not too impressed with their service. They came and checked and they said this would only cover for one unit and I have three at home. The one unit that they were supposed to inspect, they inspected but they didn't do anything to it, so I asked them if instead they could use that service on another unit and they said no, they only would do it for one unit and if we needed an extra one, they would charge separately. Then was my secondary line that was leaking because the main line was clogged and I thought that was part of the service that they would provide, that they would clean up but they charged me $50 to $60 extra to open up that primary drain line and just remove the clog. They didn't really do anything much for the Angie's List coupon that I had. They actually ended up charging extra for whatever work they did. I was expecting it to be a little more thorough inspection, so if it was cleaning and maintenance that they were offering, I would assume that they do that at least. They didn't even come inside and look at the thermostats. So it was a very superficial inspection and not a thorough inspection. They only did some of what the deal stated not all of it. It didn't seem like he took any significant effort to clean the drains, all he did was cut the pipe, drain it and put it back and he charged $50 for that.

Everything went fine. The capacitor was the problem and had already been replaced by a friend before the service tech arrived so he didn't really do much.

We had no air conditioning, the coil in the furnace was leaking freon and the blower motor on the furnace stopped working. I started looking around for quotes on replacing the entire system and ONLY Quality 1 Energy Systems provided me with a quote that included several options for replacement AND provided the Model numbers for the condenser, the furnace and the coil. That gave us the opportunity to do some research and know exactly what we were buying and how it was rated. We selected what we wanted and proceeded with the installation. The team that arrived was wonderful. Their installation was superb and they did a great job cleaning up. The best part is that the system works even better than we anticipated. The comfort level in the house is better than it has ever been and the thermostat is remarkable. Many thanks to this company.

The technicians from the Quality 1 showed up right on time and were very professional. They had two individuals working, one inside and one outside. They took some time to explain a couple of things about my system that we had been using incorrectly for a long time to get better efficiency out of our system. Overall it was a good value.

He was courteous and professional. My ratings could be based on the fact that I didnt know what to expect and obviously that I expected too much. The charge was exclusively to look if the system was ok or what could be, possibly, maybe wrong. Anything else was extra and by a lot. So again, maybe I just didnt purchase the coupon I needed to have some of their service recomendations done, and the experience its all my fault. Next time I will ask for more details BEFORE getting the coupon. No offense intended.

Awesome service-checked my system and said everything was fine. So appreciate that he didn't try to suggest work that was not necessary. Great service, professional and friendly. Highly recommend.

I was very pleased with their work. They were very kind and honest and did a great job. They were able to clean the system and were very professional.

They came out and serviced the A/C unit and they did a good job. I was pleased with them. They got the job done in under one hour. The scheduling was good. They called me to schedule the appointment and came out when they said they would.

They were very professional and gave us a quick service. They even came back and showed us how to use the system when we were unsure about some of the features. They were great.

Since we found out from what the problem was from another company, it did not take him long to replace itI would say less than 20 minutes.

When I attempted to schedule the service from this provider, I was told that they do not service my areaand gt; When I told them that my area was included in their Ad I was told that it was an error. However, I feel that even if it was an error they should have honored the deal and make corrections for future deals. I will never ever use this Company (even if they start covering my area) due to their lack of good customer service skills. Just so that you know, I am only completing this review so that you can remove it from my list of services which needs to be reviewed. I often receive email requests from you prompting a review of this Company. Hopefully, this would put the matter to bed.

We called this company at least 3 times. They did not return calls as promised. Informed us they would not honor the Angie's List coupon even though it still appeared on the website as valid. We took our business elsewhere.

I purchased a $55 deal on Angie's List for A/C service with coil cleaning. Jose and Fernando showed up within the window of the appointment. They called me 20 minutes before they arrived. They were very polite and professional and completed the work with efficiency, explaining what they were doing as they went. I was aware my freon was low. Last year, I actually decided to leave my long time service company because they were charging me super premium rates but also wanted to charge me $190 for a partial lb of R22 freon. They told me they had to round up to the nearest lb and freon was $190 per lb. They said it was the governments fault. Quality 1 Energy charges $60 per lb and they put in one lb. My A/C is working better now than it has in several of years. Dropped from 65 degrees at inside vent to 54 degrees. Unit doesn't run nearly as long now. I asked Jose if he was knowledgeable about installing a Nest thermostat. He said he had installed many. I asked for a quote and he called the office - $65. I was thinking I would do install it myself. He was ok with that and started giving me tips to overcome some of the typical pitfalls I might encounter. For instance, he said the Nest is powered off house power as compared to legacy thermostats that run off battery power. Installers usually clip off the ground wire since it is not needed. But the Nest needs ground. He told me how to extend a ground wire and gave me a short strand of black electrical wire he clipped off a spool in his toolbox. Then he went into the WiFi setup procedure, not only describing the normal process, but also what difficulties he had encountered and their solutions. He convinced me he knew his business and it would be worth it for him to do it, so I purchased the install. As I anticipated, he did a wonderful job. The ground wire was clipped as he had predicted. I am very pleased with Quality 1 Energy. My A/C is in peak condition and ready for summer. I am spoiled rotten now, turning down the A/C from my phone when I'm on my way home on a warm afternoon, not to mention the other energy saving benefits of the Nest.

Angie's List got in touch with them on 3/7 and was told they'd contact me that day...never did. I'm sure they're a fine service provider, but I just wasn't impressed with their communication and it didn't set the right tone for me. YRMV.

Called, spoke with Mohammad Gharbieh, told him I was a and quot;Angie's Listand quot; member and what was going on with my AC - it wasn't blowing cool air. He took my information, told me he needed to check the schedule and would call me back within an hour. Less than an hour later, Mr. Gharbieh called told me that the service tech Jose would be at my house in an hour or so. He was, checked my AC unit, fixed it and asked if I wanted the coils cleaned cause it needed it, it was only another $50 so I said yes, he cleaned it and the difference was amazing. That's it, they do what they say, are at your location when they said they'll be and the work is done by a quality service person. I'm happy with the service and will call again. Highly recommended! Quick diagnosis of a failed combustion blower allowed for acquiring and replacing of that fan and pressure valve the same day. A very cold day at that. Courteous, and knowledgable service tech who explained exactly what was needed, and then the invoice.

It went fine.The dispatcher called to let me know when to expect the technician. The technician was punctual. He gave the unit (both heater and A/C) a check-up and said that it was working properly.

It went well. The service man was very friendly and the service was completed as required!

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It went okay. They charged for parts that I needed and it was around $150. This was the first time I've used them. The service was fine and the customer service was pretty good. I had a bunch of questions and he was able to respond pretty quickly, and was willing to take care of me. He even gave me a discount because I was a little surprised about the charges so he was willing to work with me. They had good customer service. For the initial timing, it took them a little while to call me back.

They didn't come. They said we were out of their service area.

He was very good. He came, did what he came to do, and showed me what he did. He was a nice person and it seemed like he cared.
