Description of Work: They did no work. They told me I was out of their service area. They said they would contact Angie's List and I would get a refund. This is the second AC company to do this to me in the past couple of months.

Description of Work: Didn't realize that furnace is actually not included. Furnace would cost an additional $1500 to $2000 + plus any duct work and extra installations. So, overall discount doesn't feel like a real discount.

Description of Work: System check found necessary replacements in AC system. Considering I had not done a check in 8 years, I was not surprised. Over the next two months, they had to return twice for emergency work when I didn't have ac in the hottest of times. I felt like the service manager was a friend before all was well.

+ -1 moreOne of the furnaces in my house was out. I called Quality 1 at 6:00 am and they were here at 7:30 am. The technician was nice and thorough as always. He checked the furnace and found out that the igniter was bad. He explained to me what was wrong and the price to replace it. I gave him my approval and he repaired it. When he was done he checked out the other furnace at no charge just to make sure everything was fine. I got my discount for being a maintenance customer and was very pleased. Quality 1 replaced both of our systems about 10 years ago and they will be the only company we call to upgrade our systems in a year or two to get more efficient systems. We will also get another discount when we replace our systems for being a maintenance customer.
