Precision Painting Plus of Plano

The work that was done was barely acceptable. The furniture and wall-to-wall carpeting were not covered well and I found splattered paint on oak furniture in one room and globs of spackle on the china closet in the dining room. I was able to scrape the paint and spackle off the furniture (although I shouldn't have had to) but the worst is the pain and spackle on the wall-to-wall carpeting. The PM's answer was "It is water-based and will come out." OK - that means I have to hire a professional carpet cleaning service now and hope it does come out. If they expect carpet cleaning to be a part of the job it should be included in the estimate. I also wasn't crazy about finding a microwave oven one day when the crew left. I am assuming they just plugged it in to any outlet (not one specifically upgraded for high power electronics). There could have been a fire. Also the job took longer than we were told to expect it to last. I do not recommend this company.

Great experience from beginning to end. Project Manager (Jason) came to the house to give us an estimate and my husband and I were impressed with not only the professionalism of Jason but the competitive price and craftsmanship. Once we decided to secure Precision Paining Plus, the ball started rolling and within no time, our dining room (12 x 26) was patched up and painted in one day. The crew was prompt and clean.

Wow, the price was hard to believe. The carpenters showed up the first day and I stood over the men. I am a tradesman and can tell right away if they are going to stay. I was very satisfied with the carpentry and painting. The third day the house was full of workers and all did a great job. They were very respectful of me and my family. Alfonso is a great help with everything, he knows his paint, moldings and getting the job looking beautiful. This is a very good company and will make you very happy with your home.

Substituted a VOC paint for a non VOC paint without confirming with me. Great work, very responsive. That’s my only complaint. Also, they were able to paint my entire apartment in 1 day which I was really happy about. Would have been a 5 star rating without the issue above. If you hire them this is controllable by buying your own paint or having them stipulate paint that will be used in your contract

Precision Painting Plus spray painted the wood paneling on my third floor. During the painting, they did not seal off the room and paint got everywhere in the house. It created a major hazard for my family and we were displaced for over a week while clean-up crews wiped down every object in our house and ran air filtration units to cleanse the air. Precision Plus did do the right thing and got professional cleaners and paid more than $10k to remedy the situation they caused but their poor craftsmanship created immense problems and we are still working to get everything back to normal over a month later.

I used Precision Painting Plus initially to paint my condo; however, I ended up using them to do other work like paint my kitchen cabinets; install my bathroom vanities; and re-grout my bathroom tiles. They arrived early everyday and left around the same time so they weren’t disrupting my day. I plan to use them on two other projects which I’ve received a quote for on the spot. I highly recommend them for all your home improvement project. Gina C.
