Angie's list referred me to this company! Beware Angie's list works with sexual predators. This company sent out 2 men....1 man was excellent and professional. The other seem to behave as a registered *** offender. He sexually harassed me and tried to kiss me and touch my breasts. I asked Tally/ Boss what was his name to file a police report....because the company failed to do so. He said he didn't know the other guy brought him. So you're basically sending strangers who haven't been verified or drug tested or any background check....what if he was a registered *** offender and I have a child. He didn't do anything to help the customer. Just took my money and now I'm getting private calls....yes the guy has my number and has texted me "love"...he doesn't speak English well. Be aware you are letting strangers into your home. This company only cares about money!!! Keep in mind I'm 22. Never hire movers and be alone as a female always have a male with you or this will happen or use a professional company that verifies their workers.

It went great! Javier and Jose were fast but careful, extremely hardworking, and good humored throughout the move that took about 12 hours and included some significant rain late in the day. If I were to move again I would definitely choose Oasis and request these two guys! Very pleased with their work

They met me at my unit, they called me and were timely in arriving. When he pulled up I was looking for an Oasis Moving truck since that's who I hired, but the truck that showed up said Good Shepard Alliance on it. I wasn't sure that it was the correct person but he followed me through the gate and signalled to me. He was very rude to me so I called the company and asked for the lady I originally spoke to, I was told that she wasn't in the office but she would get back to me (she still hasn't) but the person on the phone told me that this man was a 3rd party contractor they had hired, which we had not agreed on. I would have sent him away then and called a different company, but due to other circumstances i needed the move done that day, so I had my father come down to be with me while the move was going on since I didn't want to be there alone with him as he was being very unprofessional. They started the move, they took 4 and a half hours to complete my move, even though it was a very small amount of things to move AND my family was there to help. saw them sitting in their truck texting while I was being charged hourly. The total cost was over $400 which i was not prepared to pay but had no choice.

They are complete garbage and have zero professionalism. PLEASE HIRE A REPUTABLE COMPANY! THEY ARE A JOKE. IM POSTING ON BBB NEXT AND EVERY KNOW SOCIAL MEDIA SITE I'M A PART OF.

They worker dropped it in my home then told me it wasn't his fault. I spoke with Talli and he said he would file an insurance claim for .60$ per pound which is $300. The item is almost 2K to replace. Beyond that, he claimed the check would arrive in 3 days which has not happened either. Horrible experience and now I have to file a law suit.

I wish i could give this company 0 stars. This is the worst moving company in Dallas. I had a move request time for 12:00 PM -2 :00 PM but the movers didn't show up until 5:00 PM. Also when I Called Oasis @ 2:30 PM to get an update, no one answered the phone. I got a call back around 3:15 PM, the man said "someone called?" (unprofessional) Then he told me that he would call the movers and see where they are and he would call me back. I never got that call back. I had to call Oasis Movers again at 4:00 PM. No answer once again but he (the rep) called back at 4:15 saying, "Oh let me call them again." Then he called back at 4:30 PM saying the movers will be there at 4:45-5:00 PM. Once they arrived around 5:05 PM, they arrived in an SUV that had a hitch on the back hauling storage space This was not the moving truck we expected and the SUV can go up to the 3rd floor, in a parking garage, with no problems. It's just an SUV. But I guess Oasis said an SUV can't fit in parking garage so they charged an extra 25.00. Anyways, I looked inside and they had a couple blankets but nothing else to support our personal belongings. Once they came inside they told us, they didn't have any wrap to wrap up our big things, like TV stand etc. One of the men just there the computer monitor/modem on his pusher and proceeded to push it down stairs. He was rough and the monitor/modem it almost fell to the ground! They didn't even attempt to be cautious with it. The movers also looked angry, tired and hostile. Oasis Movers are unprofessional and horrible your movers are. Because of the incompetence of Oasis Movers, My boyfriend and I were not able to move into are new place yesterday. We are now delayed after packing up all our personal stuff. Thank God we were smart enough to move out a week before the lease ends or we would have been in a bad situation. Thanks for nothing.

This is my personal opinion and belief, that the move was not professional in any manner. Every thing presented below is what I and my family have observed via our experience with Oasis Moving Inc. Dallas BBB gave Oasis Moving an F rating, and they also revoked the BBB membership that had lasted from 2009-2011. Not sure why of that, but this company has a lot of complaints about them. Oasis Moving Company Inc did not provide my dad with the following: Weight tickets from any time of the move. We were not allowed or asked to view the weighing of the goods, which is a federal law. They did not make or provide an inventory sheet upon receiving the movable goods, or with delivery of those goods. We believe he was overcharged for the move as well. I've asked for the weigh ticket numerous times, and it has never been provided. Even if it was provided, I would still be skeptical due to the other things that could have been added to the truck . My brother and my parents witnessed Oasis Moving dumpster diving for boxes because they didn't bring any in the first place. My parents were charged for special handling of their comfort sleep bed, and all they did was wrap up the bed in cardboard boxes. The bed was found just thrown on the truck as is. Also, there were three lamp shades thrown on the truck as is. All three were damaged during the move. Instead of picture packs, they just wrapped a thin piece of cardboard around each picture. All ends were exposed. The weigh tickets and not viewing the weighing and the inventory, are all three federal laws that were violated during this move. Dumpster diving for boxes is not professional nor appropriate in any situation.

First of all I have to say that I was very impressed by the office staff. I had called another moving company (a very well known company) to ask for a quote, which they gave over the phone but were shocked when I wanted a written confirmation of that quote - they just didn't do that. The woman that answered the phone at Oasis was pleasant, courteous and very professional. She not only emailed me a copy the quote but they were $100 less than the other mover! The movers called before they came, showed up in the window they had promised (they showed up at 3pm when their window was between 2pm-4pm) and jumped right into the move. They had an enclosed trailer and three men working. As I was moving to a smaller office, I had some things that had to go to my home as well as my new office. The movers were respectful, courteous and did exactly what I asked them to do: put the pieces, boxes just where I needed them. My old office, home and new office are all within a 3 mile radius, but it was still impressive that from start to finish (when I signed off on the move) it took one hour. They had a minium charge of 2 hours, but they had quoted that price from the beginning. I could not be more satisfied with Oasis moving and would use them again.

To start off, the gentleman that moved us were both very polite and easy to work with. Sadly, that was the best part of the move. The first problem occurred when they ran out of room in their trailer and as a result could not complete the move. Rather than pay them to drive back later in the evening at my expense, I opted to hire someone else the next day. The next issue was the wall and baseboard damage. I suppose things happen and perfection is a bit much to expect but we have quite a few places that require not only paint but drywall repair. I have used movers before and cannot remember ANY damage so I have to give a big thumbs down here. In addition there were a couple of gouges on a sofa as well as numerous scratches on wood furniture I have had to touch up since. I would have been fine with all that as I'm a pretty easy going guy, but the final straw was my 70" TV. I powered it on 5 days after the move only to see my screen is shattered. I was disappointed especially since I just bought is 60 days ago but wasn't too worried as they advertise they are "bonded and insured" ! This is great I thought, but alas it was not. It seems they, and others like them prey on the ignorance of those of use that do not work in the moving business. When I called the gentleman was extremely unpleasant when I told him I wanted to file a claim for my TV which us unrepairable. His almost immediately informed me "you do know you only get .60 a lb. for the damage". Well that was certainly quality customer service! I felt so much better knowing I would get a whole $50-$60 for the TV I paid almost $1,500 for 60 days ago. Clearly I was less than pleased at the news and did say as much to which he told me I knew all this which really doesn't help either. In the end, I now know more about moving than I ever wanted to. The least of which is to avoid this business at all costs. The manager was crystal clear that he was not required nor was he interested in discussing the matter. I was welcomed to submit my claim for less than $60 that would take up to 90 days to receive. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with any business I have ever dealt with.

The tore the legs off my armoire while they were putting it on the truck. I told them that it was unnecessary but they wouldn’t listen to me. They were not supposed to take 2 boxes of china because I was planning on driving it myself. And I later noticed that they had broken some of it on the way to the truck because I found pieces of my china on the side walk. They were supposed delivery my things to my new home on May 18th around 2. I called when they were late and I told Tally at Oasis that they had already damaged my china and tour off the legs of my armoire and that they were late with their delivery. Tally told me that he would give me a 200 discount and he told me to write if there were any further damages on the bottom of the inventory sheet and he would take care of it. They said there might be an additionally charge after they weighed the truck at the weighing station. I couldn’t get a hold of them to find out if I over weight and they were supposed to give me a sheet of paper that confirmed the weight of the truck which they never produced. They told me that the weight was over their originally estimate but about 4000 pounds and that I owed an additionally $1726. I asked to see the weight sheet but they gave me the run around. I called the managers at the moving company I originally hired to speak to supervisor. I felt that she was trying talk down to me. She did call Tally and she said that he would call me but he never did. I called the supervisor again to complain and finally Tally called me back. At this point I still didn’t know where my furniture was or when I would receive it. They came at 7.30 and they wanted me to sign a paper accepting my furniture but I told them I wouldn’t sign it until I saw if my furniture had been damaged any further. I tried to document the damage on the bottom of the sheet like Tally told me to but they took the sheet and put it back in the truck cab so I was only able to document a portion of it. I called Tally again to see if they would send a supervisor to help me and he said they couldn’t do that. Budget had also told me that they would wrap padding around any of my special pieces but they didn’t—I paid extra money for large canvas painting and a mirror to be wrapped up but it wasn’t done. The movers told me that they didn’t have that kind of material on the truck. I was supposed to pay the last third of my bill at delivery. I went ahead and paid for it because I didn’t want them to hold my furniture and I was tired. Not only did they damage the legs of one armoire and damaged the top portion of my second armoire of two armoires but they damaged the top portion as well, I had broken dishes, my brand new dining room set was nicked and chipped and part of the finish was damaged, and a leg was missing from my bed. Some of this stuff can be replaced or repaired but it will be an added expense. I told Tally said that if I was going to file a claim but they wanted the 200$ that he had already taken off the bill for the original damages to the china and armoire. I talked with budget and they said that I would be provided with claim forms and with information from the weight scale from Tally at oasis. I sent a certified letter to the company in Texas them but I never heard from them. I hold Budget responsible for this because they contracted to this company that I knew nothing about. the people they sent me were not professional or knowledgeable and I received very poor customer service from them. They said inappropriate things and made themselves at home which I thought was really unprofessional. Around June 18th, I spoke with Henderson at budget about a week after I sent the certified letter and he told me that he would call the Tally and get back with me but I haven’t heard from them.
Description of Work: I hired a large, well-known company to take care of my move and specifically asked their agent if they would be the ones to move me and they said yes, however, they contracted me out Oasis to do the move. They quoted me $2836 as a binding estimate for 5001lbs and they based this estimate on an inventory they took over the phone. I paid a third of my bill up front to the company, and then I was supposed to pay Oasis a third when they came to pick up my things and then the last third when they delivered. Oasis sent 2 men to my home and they arrived with an unmarked truck and without uniforms. They asked me for the inventory and I showed it to them so that they could make their own inventory. Everything I packed I marked with tape and market fragile or glass. I told them to only take the boxes that I marked.

We were working with a different moving service in June and they were highly unreliable but Oasis was flexible with this other company's arrival time and was willing to wait. They met us at 11 o' clock in the night and two men helped for an hour. They were very careful with our furniture and there were absolutely no scratches. We had such a small job for about one hour the first time and I had called all over the place. They were one of three companies out of 15 that even called me back. They set their price for a minimum of two hours for two men and no other moving company that I called would do that minimum amount of work that I was requesting. They literally worked with me and no other company would do that. It was a very small job but they were very happy to do it for me.
Description of Work: We have used Oasis Moving for moving services. They have helped us twice. They moved some furniture for us in June and helped us with a bigger move in September. Both times the price was $79/hr. for 2 men & a truck.

Oasis movers were 3 hours late. The crew looked like thugs from across the mexico border with only one of them being able to barely speak english. They covered or padded nothing. They broke the leveler foot off of one of my armoires and then aggressively yanked on the piece of furniture to get it to move while a bare screw ripped a hole in the carpet. They knocked a large dent in my bedroom entertainment armoire and scrathced up the front of the drawers. They broke the handles off of my $2,000 GE Profile stainless steel refrigerator. They scuffed up one of our leather chairs and marred the leather beyond repair. They put a sizable dent in the side of our nearly new Washer and now it grinds like metal on metal when it aggitates - last night we had to breakdown and buy a new washer. They severly scratched our entertainment table (it will never be the same)! The refrigerator handles were broken about half way through the unloading process. The crew leader told us that he could glue the broken handles back together and repaint the scratches with paint from Home Depot. When we refused to go along with his suggestion and said we would need to withhold payment until we got a proper estimate for proper repairs, he called the owner of Oasis (Tally) and they were instructed to strike and stop unloading until we agreed to pay them in full. After an hour standoff, we finally relented and told them to go ahead and unload the rest and that we would pay them. While the movers were finishing, I called the the owner to get to the bottom of what was going to be done. I was told that our refrigerator was used and that the broken handles would not affect the value that much!!!!! When I ask him to physically come out and inspect the damages, he rudely said that we were not paying him to personally come out! When I asked for a copy of his insurance so I could make a claim, I was told that he was self insured and told me that I would have to sue him. Two nights ago I called the sales person to discuss all of the damages that had been done. She was apologetic and said that they did not do business this way and that she would personally speak to the owner to have him come out and inspect all the damages. I was told that she would get back to me yesterday. It is now 2 days later and they will not answer their phone nor will they call me back. This $540 move has caused $1,000's in damage to our personal belongings and the owner Tally refuses to take care of the problems.

Please Understand that we Strive to be Ontime to EVERY move. There are times where a customer will tell us there is only 1 bedroom worth of Items, so we dispatch with the idea of the move taken 1-4 Hrs. but there are times where the customer will have many more items then first thought and the move will take longer. then that will make us late to moves after that one. we always call customers and explain that we are going to be a little late and try to estimate our arrival time..

Two guys came to my apartment in street clothes with no uniforms or company tshirts on. I have moved numerous times and I have never seen movers that don't completely wrap your furniture with blankets. They left large parts of my furniture exposed with nothing on it but plastic wrap (which won't prevent nicks or scratches). They came in a VERY small white truck, and was even told by the driver that all of my furniture won't fit in his truck, so I had to move some things myself (Are you serious)!! When we were about to leave the apartment and head to the house to unload the truck, his truck wouldn't start. He asked me if I had jumper cables and I said no. So then he asked my boyfriend to take him to Walmart to buy jumper cables. So I had to wait for 30 minutes for him to return with the jumper cables and then my boyfriend had to help him start his truck. Finally, as they unloaded the truck, they chipped and scratched up so much of my furniture and I didn't realize it because I was pre-occupied with the cable installers. But I did witness one of the guys damage my door frame in my newly built house. So I showed them the damage and was told that all I have to do is get paint and paint over the chip and scratch (unbelievable). Because I was so frustrated and stressed I just told him to unload the rest of my things, so that I wouldn't have to deal with them anymore. My advice, don't use moving companies that hire day laborers or contractors, make sure they are using company trucks that are maintained, make sure you don't have other services being installed during the day of your move so that you can watch them like a hawk!!!

Two men came in and immediately covered our banister posts so they wouldn't be damaged. The movers were very professional, courteous, and careful. There is a sharp turn in our staircase that makes furniture moving very difficult. They handled it beautifully and the walls were never touched! They were quite cautious about walls, hardwood floors and doorways. We were very pleased, and would definitely use this company in the future.
