No Company Name

I planned to meet the builder at my home to give a deposit, until he asked for it in cash. RED FLAG. Then I got separate calls from both the owner of the company and Brian who was to do the work. The owner asked to meet me personally to collect the deposit. I then got a call from Brian saying that he would not be the one installing the fence because he is no longer working with that company. Thanks to Brian, I feel I was saved from being scammed. Brian told me how the owner was delaying jobs because he did not have the funds to buy material. The plan was to secure a bunch of deposits and then use that money for materials. Anyway, I would RUN away from these people.

The experience was terrific, it couldn't have gone better. He was superb. He was professional. Always cleaned up after himself, on time, everything was good.

Went just fine

Paul bid the job - an 8 foot privacy fence, gates, and removable area of fence. He sent his subcontractors (2 men, 1 hammer) the first day, one guy the second day. The 4x4 uprights were supposed to be positioned every 8 feet - these guys had them placed anywhere from 9- 15 feet apart. Apparently the materials that were ordered (from Paul's quote) did not include any more 4x4 uprights. We have now figured we were 14 short. The subcontractors also had no idea there was supposed to be a removable area of fence - those materials were not ordered either. We had to pay two of our own guys to assist just to get the fence less than 1/2 complete. Paul fired these subcontractors. Paul never has once been out to the jobsite even though he set 3 appointments to meet my husband there. He has now walked away from the job. VERY UNPROFFESSIONAL. The and quot;fenceand quot; is nothing more than a hazard of flying missiles during the next strong wind. JOB IS NOT COMPLETE!!!
