I hired a three man crew from Nice Moves to move my house - they were very professional and fast. Their pricing and service are excellent. The crew was 20 minutes late, but other than that they did a great job.

Bobby, the team lead, was pleasant and professional. The team arrived thirty minutes late due to a heavy summer work schedule and forgot some of the tools they needed, but quickly began doing the work. The truck was packed well and tight and there was very little shifting of the load during the long drive from Texas to Michigan. There was very little damage to the furniture. A couple pieces sustained nicks, and one table obtained a notable wear in two spots that will require repair, but overall, for this type of move, the amount of damage was minimal and acceptable. I would have preferred some of the pieces, like the leather sofas and chairs to have been wrapped in plastic, but they were not. If you have specific pieces that you would like wrapped and covered before leaving your property, then it would be a good idea to make this clear. I believe if I would have requested that work to be done that the team would have done as I asked. They were responsive, kind and easy to work with. The only issue is that I was to receive a receipt copy via email and have not received it to date. The only problem I had is that I did not get the right kind of moving straps or enough pads at first. If they are packing your truck make sure to get an enormous amount of moving pads and have them tell you what kind of straps to get and where to get them. I spent $140 on the wrong kind of straps, which was my fault, not theirs. Overall I would use them again. The service was excellent, but it was a solid GOOD and I felt like I received good value for my money.

I hired Nice Moves to move several large bulky pieces of furniture to storage and also move some to a different area of the house. They arrived 15 minutes early and promptly began to work. The furniture was carefully wrapped before moving it. It was very heavy and on the the second floor. The movers were were very careful not to hit the walls. The items that were taken to storage were unwrapped and stacked with the same care that was used in the house. They were very professional and I am very satified with the move.

Nice Moves sent two young gentlemen who showed up promptly at 8am. Carlos and Jose were polite, followed instructions, and worked nonstop for the next five hours. They were fast and efficient and certainly did not act as if they were paid by the hour. All my boxes and furniture were handled carefully, and everything came through without a scratch. I gave each of them a hefty tip to show my gratitude. I will certainly use this company again.

Day One: Perfect. Came right on time and worked carefully, yet quickly. Day Two: They arrived 30 minutes late. I had an expensive, carved desk that I was really worried about - it made it intact, as did everything, and they assured me it would. They packed the furniture really carefully. My husband noted that they were slower than movers we had used in the past and a grade (at least) up - we loved the extra care and were happy to see it (and pay for it). All in all, a great experience. Would definitely do it again. I gave a B on professionalism for day 2 because of the slight lateness (and no acknowledgment) and because I asked some questions as they were moving/giving them information and they didn't always seem all that happy with this - but it was 96 degrees out- I understood. I thought the price was great for what I got - a very good value. Thank you, Nice Moves!

They were AWESOME. They showed up on-time (8AM) and worked non-stop, while taking extra care of all items. They didn't take smoke breaks, rather only a 45 minute lunch break which they asked if it was okay. We've completely unpacked since the move and had ZERO damage on any item. The 3 man team was perfect - and the price was even better.

Everything went well and the cost was extremely affordable. They took very good care of my things during the move.

They were not only punctual, they were 10 minutes early (they would have been even earlier if they hadn't gotten a bit lost). There were two of them and the driver, Carlos, was very cordial and the two of them went right to work. It took them no time, asked me if there was anything else I needed done, and when I said no, presented with a bill that was less than what had been quoted. It doesn't get any better than that. If this is any indication of how they work with a larger job or a major move, I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

These guys are Fantastic! We were moving contents in a room from the Third Floor to the First and then some items to a storage unit. Included in the office was 1 VERY HEAVY DESK that had to be brought down winding stairs. I had three guys Carlos, Manny & ____. They handled it NO PROBLEM! They worked fast AND carefully. They were smart, polite, and very well spoken. We had a sleeping baby in the house and they actually did all the move w/o waking the baby. Very considerate I am very particular about my stuff and they did not damage or scratch one thing I was able to schedule them with one day's notice and they were very flexible. Only complaints (minor) They were 15 min late. They charged me for 15 min drive time each way. Wish that had been disclosed when I booked. But was ok w/ it considering how fast they worked. I am very happy with them and will use them again for future moves!

Showed up early and ready to work. Worked fast and reasonably careful. The move out went well. I think fatigue set in towards the end of the move resulting in some slight damage to furniture and door casings. They gave me a 4-5 hour estimate @ $110/hr. They were done in 4hrs. My disappointment lies in the fact that there was never any mention of being charged drive time at full rate. Paying travel time is reasonable but not at the same rate as work.

The workers were professional and nice. They scratched the be and did not offer to have it fixed.

The day went great. I was a little worried because they refused to stop for lunch and it was hot. I kept encouraging them to stop and take a break and they wouldn't. Finally about 4:00 I called their boss and said, "Look, enough is enough. We are not slave drivers here. Please call and insist they take a break and get something to eat" I did offer juice, water and trail mix (all I had that wasn't packed) which some of them took advantage of. They worked like sled dogs from the time they arrived until the last item was dragged up the stairs. Nothing broken, nothing scratched. Care was taken with each piece. Furniture was wrapped in a moving blanket then wrapped with shrink wrap over the blanket or just wrapped in shrink wrap, whichever method was appropriate for the piece. Virtually no door frames were banged and no furniture forced through doorways. The refrigerator was the hardest item and the doors had to be taken off to get out the door. They dismantled the washer, dryer and refrigerator and hooked them back up in the new location. Polly in the office was a sweetheart on the phone and extremely pleasant and helpful. I would definitetly use their service again. Highly recommend.

Responded to my phone call within 30 minutes on a late Friday afternoon. Set up a move for the next morning... very punctual and responsive! Two men arrived with a truck the next morning, right on time. They were professional and polite, and they both worked very hard without a break for the next six hours, loading the truck, driving to the house, and unloading. They were generally careful with items, although they did handle a few boxes marked "fragile" carelessly. They had a positive attitude all day. All in all, the price was great and the work was excellent!

They showed up on time. They worked fast, they're skilled and best of all they are professional and friendly. Note: Make sure to stay directly involved in technical tasks, e.g., connecting the washer and dryer. Overall great for the price. All in all-worth every penny.

We were very lucky to get this move on such short notice. The night before, we were given a call to confirm the next morning at 9am. The next morning at 8:15, they called to let us know they were on the way. Promptly at 9 am they were ringing the door bell. Three men and a huge truck. These guys were absolutely the BEST!! They wrapped our furniture and moved every piece like it was made of glass. We have some history with moving companies and I thought what we experienced in the past was the best we could get, so I thought this will be just like before-they will just tear up something different this time. NO, to my surprise, it was such a positive experience - these guys took pride in themselves and their work. I had to tell them that we appreciated they way they handled our stuff like it belonged to them and "Manuel" told me "Mam, that is our job." Nice Moves restored my faith and everything made it unharmed and these guys worked like there was no tomorrow. GREAT EXPERIENCE!!!! Thank you guys so much.

They took me at the last minute, but didn't show up with furniture blankets and were not careful at all with my expensive wooden furniture. I paid by the hours & the workers took frequent breaks & moved very slowly. It was not a good experience. Even when I told them "this table cost xxxxx and it's really important to me that it not be scratched" it was handled roughly.

The two guys were extremely nice and courteous. Their boss did give them the wrong Wal-Mart to meet me at, so we got a late start. We spent a 12 hour day together. They were wonderful in setting the furniture up in my home and putting everything exactly where I wanted it.

Team was to arrive at 9am, actually got there at 9:45. Move went well and they were very professional. Did not take breaks, etc. and focused on getting the job done.

This is the third time we have used Nice Moves, and if needed, we will call them first. They called once they were on their way, and they showed up on time. They were careful and methodical on the items we had them move. They did not object to us helping them load/unload. Their pace was not rushed, but it was constant. They never took a break, and I never observed them just milling around. On unloading, they reconnected the washer/dryer/refrigerator and made sure they worked properly. They even moved a 500lb, 4 chamber smoker to the backyard. There was never any sales pressure to purchase unneeded insurance. If you are looking for a mover to get you across town or moving apartments, I would highly recommend Nice Moves of Dallas. While there are many things to worry about, I had no worries when dealing with Nice Moves.
