Nice Moves - Dallas

The movers did a good job. They were punctual and were very careful with my items. There were a lot of very heavy items and boxes, and the three movers worked very hard, at a good pace, on a very hot day. They deserved the tip that i gave them.

Outstanding, Trey, Francisco and Everado took time to wrap all of my expensive and heavy furniture. They didn't complain about carrying upstairs and were carful with my Hardwood floors...

I purchased this service during the "Big Deal" that was advertised. These guys were hard working and went to work right away. They did not complain that my apartment was up a flight of stairs. They continued to work quickly until the job was done and finished within the 3 hour time that I had prepaid for. They took everything out of my place- even odds and ends stuff that I had thrown in some tote bags and Rubbermaid tubs that were missing the lids. I thought I would have to pack those things in my car because they definitely weren't packed correctly. Not so! They just grabbed everything in sight and put it on the truck. I thought that since I had gotten a special deal, I would be nickled and dimed with extra charges, but this was not the case! I appreciate that I was able to have all of my boxes (not a limited number), and items such as my grill and exercise bench moved without additional fees. I would definitely use Nice Moves again and recommend their services!

Oh My Gosh. I can't say enough about the absolute professional service we received from Nice Moves. I was having my elderly parent moved from her home to a senior living facility. We were anticipating a very stressful time during this move. Thanks to Nice Moves the stress was held to a minimum. My experience with Nice Moves was very very good. They took care of all of the furniture that we had. They moved it and moved it here into the new house with no damage and just did a great job. The individuals that actually came and did the work were very nice, very knowledgeable, very helpful, it was great all the way around.

They were awesome! Showed up on time, were fast, efficient and courteous. We would definitely use Nice Moves again and would recommend them to anybody that needed movers.

We've moved 4 time in the past three years and we know a good move when we see one and this move went great. Jose, Everado and Richie did a good job. They were on time and very prophessional and polite. They even brought their own drinking water. You'd be suprised how many movers we've used that don't have enough sense to bring water/food for themselves. We had moved a lot of the smaller items across town already and what was left was mostly the large/heavy furniture pieces, China cabinet/hutch, slepper sofa, love seat, large dining room table and chairs, master bed room furniture, washer and drier, some boxes and assorted items. They took care to make sure and wrap each piece with a blanket and plastic wrap and tie it down good inside the truck. Once everything was loaded we all left for Lewisville and as expected we arrived before the movers at the Lewisville location but we didn't have to wait long, maybe 15minutes, and I'll galdly give them that since they were driving that big moving truck with all our stuff in it. The unloading went even better/faster. They made sure everything was where we wanted/needed it and cleaned up after themselves. They didn't idle or waste time. The move was completed in just under three hours, Angies List $299 special. You can't rent a truck and do it yourself for much better than that. This move was worth every penny. Good job Nice Moves.

It was supposed to be 3 men, 3 hours starting at Noon. They called at 10:15 to see if they could come early, as they were finished with there current job. We agreed to start at 11. 4 men were there instead of 3. The loading went quickly just about an hour. And we had a 10 minute stop at a family members home to pick up a recliner and 2 book cases. For some reason the unloading went much slower. In fact we were told the job was going to take longer than 3 hours. I had not even considered this. I really don't have that much stuff and they had an extra man. No one with Nice Moves had told me how much additional time was going to cost me. I tried to call them to find out but no one answered the phone. The furniture had all been unloaded. As time got short, the movers ended up depositing the remainder of my boxes and smaller items in the dining room by the front door. I appreciated how they handled my items. And how professional they were. But I didn't understand this time issue, especially when they had an extra person.

All went great! Movers were prompt, informative and fast!!!! Will use again in the future if the need arise!

The three gentlemen from Nice Moves had great attitudes and were very professional. They worked hard and with a sense of urgency. They took good care of the furniture and of the homes they moved it in and out of. Unfortunately their truck broke down while they were en route with my furniture, but they did a great job with getting another truck to finish the job in a timely fashion. I would definitely use this company again.

The 3-man crew from Nice Moves arrived promptly and immediately began hustling. They worked FAST but they were also respectful and professional with our items. We had put Post-It notes on items to go into storage (for home staging to sell house) but were leaving the rest here, and they were careful to take only exactly what we wished and leave the rest. They also moved some things around for staging and some to the garage awaiting our yardsale. Heavy rolltop desk or delicate glass curio cabinet -- no problem to them. When they unloaded into our storage unit, they organized things beautifully with aisles to get in and out. We were more than satisfied with their service and will hire them again when we are ready to move into our next home.

They arrived on time, were very professional, and were extremely supportive of my extremely nervous mother-in-law who was moving from her apartment into a new condo. I would definitely use them again and would recommend them highly to anyone who wants a hassle-free moving experience. Nothing was broken, or chipped.

This is a great punctual company! I've used the Nice Moves in Dallas more than once in both business and personal settings. My only challenge was the language barrier the second time they helped me at work - I had a hard time getting the driver and other mover to understand my directions. But these guys are hard workers, on time, and do a great job taking care of your things. When we used them to move our house it only took about 3 hours. Wow, really great work. Fast, easy, and early and a great price. Can not recommend them enough. I've had some good movers in the past but Nicemoves really did a great job. Nothing dropped, broken or banged up, everything were I asked it to be and everybody hustled. Great job all, and thanks.

The quotation was handled efficiently and courteously. They asked pertinent questions about the size and type of furniture, moved directly to their promotional pricing, knew immediately when their next two available time slots were, and was very professional when I didn't accept on the spot and moved on to finish my planned list of quotes. The Dallas based crew arrived on time, scoped out the place briefly and went straight to work. They were in clean, matching shirts; confident, courteous and efficent. They joked well among themselves and had the apartment emptied in an hour and a half despite a 60 yard walk between the parking lot to the apartment. After a short drive to the storage unit, they began unloading at a fast rate. In fitting the contents into a 10 X 10, they didn't have much leaway to leave empty pockets of space while stacking. In this, the apparent manager of the three listened to the expertise of the other two and took their suggestions as the heavy furniture was placed at the bottom of what soon became a solidly stacked storage unit. This team is apparently accustomed to resolving problems together and has no doubt handled more complex moves than this little 1 bedroom. The equipment used was clean, fairly new and appropriate for the task. The full job was done in less than two and a half hours and would have been less if the walk to the apartment had been less.

Very well. I was actually scheduled for 12-8-12, but had called at 8:00AM on 12-04-2012 and asked if they could do the move today. They said yes and their men showed up,and got me moved without a hitch. You can't ask for more. Great job.

They were really, really good. They were super, super careful. They really did an outstanding job with everything from their professionalism to the way they packed everything. They did a great job. The pricing was fine. They were a little bit expensive but for the job they did, it was totally acceptable.

Carlos, Rafael, and Jose were professional and incredibly fast. We were moving from a two story townhouse plus a large storage unit to a two story house. We had packed the house but had forgotten to pack the garage. Even though we weren't completely prepared for the move, our moving team quickly helped us pack the garage and load the boxes onto the truck. Not one item was damaged during the process. This included a very large, very heavy computer cabinet; grandfather clock; drum set; two refrigerators; and the usual dining set, couches, chairs, tables, etc. These three men never took a break, even though we encouraged them to take a lunch break, and they never slowed down. We are very pleased and we realize we are people who are hard to please. We found this company through Angie's List and feel that this recommendation alone made our membership worth the fee. We would use this company again and have no reservation in recommending them to others.

They moved some things around the house, but never seemed rushed or irritated. They were very polite and seemed as if they had all the time in the world for me. They were very professional and did a great job. I will use their services in future.

They answered the phone when I called. I really liked them because they came on time and left on time. They did more than what we expected and absolutely did not damage anything. They were smokers, but they did not smoke around us. We were thoroughly pleased with them and recommended them to one of our neighbors.

Nice Moves did a pretty good job. The guys arrived - about a half an hour late. I called the owner, Marty, and he was great in returning my call with an exact ETA. The guys arrived - and one of them was a little testy with my husband, stating that he had tried his number three times. My husband had no missed calls, so there may have been a little confusion with the telephone number. They wrapped everything before moving it and were very careful with all the items. They moved a lot of furniture onto hardwood floors, and were cautious to not leave any scratches. They were courteous and helpful. I would use them again, they were responsive given such short notice by us.

When they dropped the lift, it actually broke and covered the pavement with hydraulic fluid, making quite a mess. So we were without a lift and they came unprepared without dollies. They also managed to break my refrigerator during the move. Two small men should not be loading appliances into a truck by hand. I specifically requested they load everything on the truck that wouldn't fit in my car. They left a large pile of items for me to move, no where near fitting in my vehicle. I actually had to rent a Uhaul to move the items left. They took it upon themselves to pack, which I had not requested. I'm still finding things broken or misplaced. I opened 1 large box to find only 1 stuffed animal occupying it! What a waste! They were unprofessional from beginning to end. What should have taken just a few hours took 8-9, charging me the entire way.
