Nice Moves - Dallas

Only two complaints-the move took twice as long as it has before which cost twice as much and one mover was very out of shape causing delays

Bought the $299 move deal and proposed a couple of dates a couple of weeks in advance. We got a message the next day saying they would "contact us tomorrow." After a couple of days without hearing from them I sent a follow-up message to see what was going on, then another the next day. It's now been 6 days since I last heard from them, so I'm getting a refund so I can use another company.

I looked on Angies list for a mover and based on the reviews selected Nice Moves. I scheduled them and they showed up on time on the date requested with the people and truck I requested. They worked non-stop for 7 hours! They surveyed all of the items to be moved, planning how they would go into the truck and based on which one would go to the new house and which ones would go to the storage unit. They were careful removing furniture from the house and didn't hit any walls on the way out. They covered items that could potentially break, wrapped the furniture in plastic to protect it. When we got to the new house, I was sure they were hungry and they didn't stop for anything so I offered they a bag a snacks to chose from. I asked the team lead first what he wanted and his first response was could he take some for his guys. Very impressive leadership for the crew, thinking of his guys before himself. they got everything to fit in the truck, when we arrived at the new address they careful brought the furniture into the house, placed it in the designated room, and if it needed to be put back together they did that you. They were very careful to ensure all of the parts and pieces were tied to the item and ensured it didn't get lost. These 3 guys were very impressive as a moving team and I would use them again! Nice Move, Nice Moves!!!

The team of 3 arrived on time; they had all the necessary equipment. They were very careful with the furniture, shrink-wrapping couches and sofas so that they would not get damaged during transport. They were efficient and very well organized. They also had experience moving large pieces of furniture, so there was little time wasted when negotiating narrow spaces or doorways. They were personable and fun to work with. We liked them and we will definitely use their services in the future. We highly recommend them.

We have found ourselves moving quite a bit. We've tried many movers in the last 3-4 years, but Nice Moves has been the best for us. Quality, professionalism and they take great care of your stuff.

These wonderful men moved everything despite me paying for just 3 hours. Thanks guys

They did adequate. They weren't the greatest but they did do ok.

The service turned out okay. There was some confusion; the drivers thought that I was supposed to pay some extra amount. They were good but they were really late.

Three gentlemen showed up to work and they worked hard and smart every minute they were there. They were careful to wrap the furniture and to protect it from damage. I had to track down my order and make sure we were scheduled. Left 2 messages and the third call spoke with someone.

The three men started at 7 am. They had to take two loads to storage. It was amazing how organized they were and how careful they were with our furniture. They somehow got everything to fit into the storage units. They worked for 16 hours and never lost their sense of humor. We had a superior experience with "Nice Moves". We would recommend they to any one and will happily use them again.

The moving crew were awesome! Packed the truck like speed demons, but I didn't get not one scratch or dent on any if my furniture. They were friendly, moved several pieces a couple of times with no complaints when I couldn't decide where I wanted something placed. Very efficient.

The guys really did pretty well. very nice, hustled, and took care of furniture, etc to make sure it would not be damaged. Got a little slow as they tried to figure out how to get it all in towards the end of packing the truck, but that is kind of to be expected. We had a lot of stuff, and we had to leave a few pieces behind. Ended up leaving them with neighbors until later so not a huge deal and we ind of expected that. I think the original "deal" was 3 guys, 3 hours, and a 24 foot truck, and a discount off moving supplies...we did not use any moving supplies and it ended up at 4 hours by the end, so we paid regular price for the last hour...kind of what we expected.

Excellent. They were very professional, moved very quickly, loaded and unloaded and set up the furniture in the new place. We were very pleased with them.

Extended the contract for additional hours. Friendly, courteous and we will use them again,;

Moved 2 bedroom house including washer/dryer, fridge, oak (very heavy) bedroom suit, TV's, and 60-70 heavy boxes.

Carlos and Anthony did an outstanding job on our move from Dallas to McKinney. Carlos was a hustler and the lead man and executed the move in a very professional manner with extra care being taken not to damage our goods as well as the two dwellings! The charges were performed on an hourly basis and ended up being what we expected. We highly recommend NICE MOVES! A very positive experience!

They were an hour late because 3rd guy called in so they had to get another 3rd person. The 3rd person had to stop moving 1.5 hr into move because he was sick from being hung over which ended up costing me an additional 2 hrs in moving cost. I've called management several times over a month to let him know what happen and request the regund of 2 extra hours they charged me. I get the run around saying he's going to look into it and going to make it right but he still hasn't. I called again this week and again waiting for a return call. They chipped a corner of my dresser and then painted over it as if I wouldn't notice. Will never use again.

The Nice Moves guys were great! They showed up on time, were very friendly and professional, and got me moved to my new place quickly. Highly recommended!

The deal was for 3 guys and 4 hours of moving for $299. The owner was wonderful at coordinating a date and time for my move. He answered my questions and tried to accommodate my move. The deal itself was a great deal; however, their pace was not all that great. My friend was helping me pack and move. She had to keep motivating them to move at a quick pace. There was one mover in particular who was not so concerned with the items he was moving. He disconnected the washer to move it and we asked him about a couple of pieces that were for the washer. He said it was fine and they were not necessary. If it wasn't for the older gentleman coming in at the right time, he would have moved the washer as is. As it turns out that could have cost the washer to stop functioning completely. The same mover who was inconsiderate also got frustrated trying to disarm the bed and just stopped. My china cabinet was damaged. Dining table was extremely damaged and scratched. Needless to say the deal turned out not to be such a good deal.

The movers were very efficient, careful and hard working. They made sure they were finished within the time we had paid for. They were obviously practiced at moving furniture in a home without hitting any walls or doors. This was a very professional crew and we appreciate their effort.

The movers did a good job. They were careful with our things and didn't scratch anything. I would use them again just for that (we have had nice furniture ruined before, so that was my favorite part about them). However, I bought a deal for 3 movers, and only 2 showed up (late, because they were waiting for the third guy that never showed). The owner called an apologized, and didn't charge for the extra time since there were only 2 movers. So, it worked out. I would use them again.

It was good. They came, they went, they were efficient and it went pretty well. They were not rude, but they certainly were not friendly. It was a little weird.

Three movers and moving truck to move from one bedroom, one bath apartment across town to single family home. Movers were prompt and professional. They moved everything quickly yet carefully and there was no damage to any items.

They arrived late, but got straight to work. They have a small truck and we had to make another trip going outside the 3 hour window, think if it was a bigger truck all would have gone in on one go. They guys were fast, a little bit of a language barrier. They were able to take furniture I didn't need to a good will store for me. They were good. If moving from a small apartment I would highly recommend them. Otherwise look to pay for extra trips.

It was great. I would definitely use nice moves again!!
