Description of Work: This man, "Josh Roberts", gave a fictitious name, took $4,500 down payment, cashed the check and never did the work. He came once after the initial payment was made and repaired a window frame. He was never seen again. I filed a case in Small Claims Court and "Josh Roberts", the actual man with that name came to court. I have no idea who the imposter was. I have previously reported this to Angie's List.

+ -1 moreHe was not forthcoming with a receipt immediately. I called him the next day and he furnished me with a very detailed verification of payment. There was a 15-30 day wait for the special order siding. I never heard from Mr. Roberts again. He has not responded to phone calls. He seemed very professional overall but he has stolen $4500.00 from an 83 year old widow.
Description of Work: Mr. Roberts was recommended by an acquaintance to make repairs to the exterior of my home. He came to my house to see and advise on repairs needed to the cedar siding exterior. He returned after several days with a detailed list of repairs needed and the cost of labor and materials. I was agreeable and gave a check for 4,500.00 as partial payment with the balance due upon completion.

+ -1 moreHe was very reasonable, and very good with his skills, he did not try to do more than needed and he would just fix it for a very reasonable price, he was very good, and all the sudden just stopped returning calls when I would leave messages, and just have never heard from him again not too sure why. It was a bit disappointing after the relationship we had. The only reason grades are low is because of this disappearance.
Description of Work: He did a ton of little jobs for me.
