We are a family owned and operated business serving the Dallas metro area since 1975. Our showroom and warehouse are available to the homeowner as well as the building contractor. Modern Home Patio manufacturers and installs custom carports and patio covers using a combination of aluminum and steel for added strength and durability allowing us to give you the highest quality for the best value. Additionally we install aluminum covers such as insulated patio covers and insulated carports.

Services we offer

Install Patio Covers to customers specifications. Most covers are installed in one day. The crews are efficient, friendly, professional Install Carports Provide additional covered parking for boats, cars and trucks. The carports can be freestanding in the yard, attached to the home on the fachia board above the garage door or simply butted up against the house. DIY carport or patio cover kits are built to specification and include decking, framework, beams, posts, trim and hardware.

Description of Work: Don't remember the price we paid but we were satisfied with the installation of the carport and patio cover. We had gotten an estimate from another company but their attitude indicated that they weren't interested in the job. Modern Home Patio did a good job and were very professional and prompt. |

Workers were very efficient and professional. It went up in about 5 hours. It was installed with a 5"-6" rise above the roof which we were disappointed to discover later let rain splash onto the vehicle we wanted covered. We wonder if hail will be a similar problem. Fortunately, we got it installed before the heavy rains in May so we were able to move the vehicle to the middle of the awning for better protection.

Vinyl 10 x 14 patio cover was installed and no problems with cost, installation nor product after installation so far. Installation went fast once date for installation was set.

BOTH ESTIMATOR AND INSTALLER WERE ON-TIME, COURTEOUS, AND PROFESSIONAL. WORKMANSHIP WAS VERY GOOD AND COMPLETE. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
