Miles Brown Tree Care

I had a very large tree (over 30 feet) in my front yard that had three main trunks. Two of the trunks had fallen, and the third was threatening my neighbor's house. I made a call to my regular tree service but they were out of town for the holiday weekend. I then went to Angie's List to find an alternative. I called the first on the list that had the best ratings; he was not available either, but recommended Miles very highly. I called Miles; he answered his phone and listened to my concerns, and agreed to come to my house in a little over an hour. He walked through the estimate with me, and we agreed on what I believe was a fair price to cut down the remaining trunk (30-40 feet), cut up all the other trunks and branches, and stack them on the curb. It would be an additional cost to have them come back on Tuesday to haul the debris away, so I decided to hold off and find out what the city would charge. I ended up having my regular tree service take care of that, since they happened to be in my neighborhood today and called me after they drove by and saw the aftermath of all Saturday's fun (ha!). Miles was very thorough and patient in his explanation of what the work would entail, as well as the related charges. He was extremely professional and personable, and listened to my concerns. I do have a regular service that I've used for years and I plan to continue that relationship, but I will definitely call Miles in the future if necessary.

I have used Miles Brown before to do tree pruning and some landscaping work in my yard. Miles is very knowledgable about trees, has a good crew, does an excellent job and will haul off the limbs and debris. He will quote a fair price. On the most recent job he did for me, I thought that he under bid the job, so I paid him more than he bid because he did all of the work in his usual excellent fashion. Miles is very dependable. He will show up when he says he will, he has the equipment and crew to get the job done. He has been doing work in my neighborhood for many years. Miles is honest and reliable in every way. I highly recommend him.
