Midas Move Management

As promised. We planned the move fairly far in advance. As the date approached, Jim regularly checked in to ensure we were on track. On the morning before the move, he called to ensure we were going to be packed, and if not, he would provide his guys to help complete the packing, charged on an hourly basis. We indeed needed the help. Jim and the crew arrived the next morning, packed for about three hours, and then made the move. They wrapped doorways, thoroughly wrapped and padded all of the furniture, and handled the fragile boxes like they belonged to them. As far as we can tell, everything arrived intact. The crew moved large furniture into tight spaces and didn't bang up the walls or doorways. Every man on the crew was a gentleman. They were courteous, professional, and worked. There was no standing around padding the hourly portion of the fee. Jim and his team performed. He is a pleasure to do business with. I heartliy recommend him. He will be handling our daughter's move this spring, and our next move.

Midas has been our family's moving company for over 5 years with more moves than I can recall (in that period of time, from moving myself again in the past few months to moving my son, daughter, girlfriend and numerous relatives and friends). Jim Ashley and his crews have always been able to accommodate whatever our special needs have been (some to storage, some to the new location, and one time leaving our stuff in a truck overnight as we were unable to get access to the new place. In what I estimate to be close to 20 moves we've never had any damage to our belongings or homes because Midas always protects everything with mover pads and wraps things in plastic. They also use special bumper pads for doorways, stair banisters and floor runners. I have never noticed another moving company that would do this. Midas has always been prompt, professional and did everything for a fair price plus they understand the stresses of moving and accommodated any issues that arose. I would highly recommend Midas if you value your furniture and home.

The move couldn't have gone better. I've used Jim and his crews to move my belongings 4 times before and have never had an issue. They wrap every piece of furniture in blankets and I don't believe we had a scratch on any of the items and every box and item arrived in good shape at the new house. The move included two refrigerators, one of which I thought they were going to have lift over their heads (to get around a kitchen island) to put in the kitchen but they magically managed to finagle it into place without issue. The crew was prompt, professional, and courteous at all times. I continue to use Jim and his company because I don't think I could find a better price or get better service.
