Description of Work: We had a leak in a bedroom closet, and our usual plumber was not available for the weekend. We called three plumbers on Saturday, urgently needing to find the source of the leak. Metro Flow of Dallas responded. They sent a plumber named José. He was prompt enough, and said he needed to cut a hole in the closet sheet rock to find out the source of the problem. We felt we had no choice, since we had the leak, and couldn't go all weekend without water. José cut a hole approximately 2'X3' in the sheet rock, and charged us $398.00 to do it. We were over a barrel, and paid it. He found that a condensation line from the AC in the attic was leaking on the wall. He offered to fix the problem, and to replace a washer box that was rusting in the same area for $1600.00. We declined from sticker shock. José said he "just went by the pricing book." He said he would send by the Dry Force men to give us an estimate on drying out the wall. He did. But José also left us a bad problem that he caused. He shut off our hot water heater, and did not tell us he did so. Since the hot water heater was new, and we were unfamiliar with its complete operation, it took hours for us to find out what the problem was. We went for a day without hot water because Metro Flow cut off our hot water, and didn't tell us a thing about it. This was a rotten experience, and though Metro Flow was good to come on Saturday morning, we feel abused by the price of cutting a simple hole in the sheet rock for nearly $400.00 which we feel is about three times too much. We also feel that if we had not shopped for another plumber, we would have been screwed for the repairs. Another plumber did the whole job for $450.00, not the $1600.00 Metro Flow wanted to do the exact same thing. If you have more money than you can count, call Metro Flow. If not, steer clear.

+ -1 moreTHIS GUY WAS A LITTLE ROUGH AROUND THE EDGES. HE DID A GOOD JOB, BUT WAS A BIT UNPROFESSIONAL. HE USED FOUL LANGUAGE IN FRONT OF ME AND WAS UNPLEASANT TO BE AROUND.
Description of Work: INSTALLED ALL OF THE PLUMBING FOR A BATHROOM ADDITION ON MY HOUSE.
