The mistake was actually mine. The technician was very nice and checked the unit completely and explained to me why it had shut down and how to avoid it in the future. It has worked flawlessly since then.

Metro Air did an excellent job! I highly recommend this company, especially Ron, my technician. At first I thought i just needed Freon , then thought it was a bad capacitor, come to find out I needed a whole new outside unit. The price was on the higher end of the spectrum when I googled comparable pricing, however the customer service I received was excellent. All care was kept in keeping my home, inside and outside, clean and tidy. Ron was prompt and pleasant to work with. They work on Sundays, and came out immediately when I called with my air troubles. Great company! Thank you Metro Air!

We scheduled a 4 pm appointment. By 4:45, no one showed up or called to confirm their whereabouts. I had to call Metro Air and ask what was going on. The secretary said she will dispatch a technician to my house. The technician did not arrive until 5:30. He was kind and was able to fix the capacitor, which was causing the issue. About a week later, their office followed up. I told the lady that the a/c was on, but now there was another sound coming from the system. The secretary indicated that the technician would call me that day to discuss and set up a follow up visit to address the issue. No one ever called.

Tech quickly diagnosed the problem, had part, quickly repaired.

Very satisfied customer. From initial call, Sunday 6am, to final credit card payment at 9:30am, MetroAir was professional, extremely responsive, timely and knowledgeable. Tech Larry DuBose was impressive and personable.

These guys are awesome!!!! I woke up at 8am Sunday morning in JULY and my AC WAS OUT! I called three other companies and they either did not answer or I left a message. When I called Metro AC Dewayne answered and told me he could have someone out today, he also explained their emergency call service fee of $150.00 but I totally understood since it was Sunday morning. He took my information and told me a technician would call me within the hour. Larry, the technician called me about 15 min later and said he could be there by 1000am. Dewayne called me back about 45 min later to make sure Larry had called me and set up a time. Larry showed up at around 950. I showed him where the compressor was and that it had been running but the fan had not been spinning. He looked at everything and came in and explained he felt it was only the capacitor but it might be the motor. His plan was the replace capacitor and if that didn't work we would change out the motor. He replaced the capacitor, checked the pressures and temps coming out of AC, changed out my air filter (which he did not have to do) and was done by 1100!! Larry was nice and used shoe covers and was very professional! Metro air conditioning will be my new go to AC and heating repair and maintenance shop!!

I called Metro when I wanted a second opinion on what needed to be done. They were extremely cooperative and sent someone out right away. They gave me a good deal and I was impressed with their attitude, so I hired them to do the work instead of the company we had dealt with previously. They got the new system installed and checked out in good time. They also took care of registering the new system with the manufacturer so that we're sure it's under warranty.

They were good. We've called them back a couple of times.

First of all, I found them as a "Big Deal" last year, to come out and check out my A/C unit. They were very professional. They discovered a small freon leak, added some parts, and freon, and went on their way. I was impressed, wrote a nice review, and even recommended them to my son, and his wife, who used them to check out the A/C at their new(to them) house, recently. Well, before I could call them out for this year's check, my unit stopped blowing cold air. When they came out, it was discovered that the leak had gotten much worse, and given the cost of adding more of the old style freon(the unit was over 20 years old), I decided to replace the unit. They showed me it would be more efficient, for my heating, if I also went with a heat pump, so I opted for that, as well. The installers were there two days later, and quickly installed both the inside, and outside units. Now after they left, I discovered a water leak. The inside unit sits right over my bathtub, and it was dripping, fairly significantly. The first attempt to fix it didn't work, so Larry and his man came out, quickly discovered the real problem, which was a blocked condensate tube, and fixed it. While they were here, they also discovered that when the unit shut off, there was an odd grinding noise, which I'd noticed, but hadn't thought much about. They made an adjustment to the fan, and voila, no noise. Of course, there was no charge for this visit, and they even waived the original service call fee. In addition, the new unit included a programmable thermostat. Overall, I'm very impressed with Larry, and his company, and will continue to recommend them wherever possible. They are knowledgable, professional, do quality work, and when something does go wrong, they fix it as soon as possible. For any service company, it doesn't get any better than that.

I have used him for years and he has done all the work on my HVAC. He had to widen my attic door to get the furnace in and he did a good job.

It was great. I don't have any issues with any of the service they provided and everything went perfectly. I would definitely recommend them. I would use them again in the future.

Within 30 days the capacitor went out after the technician said everything was good. Subsequently we discovered the technical had put the wrong size filters in the attic unit, putting two smaller ones to overlap rather than installing the correct size. I would NOT use this company again.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal for this service. I tried to schedule this service originally while I was on vacation during the week of April 14 - April 18, but the weather was too cold for the Freon to be checked. Once the weather warmed up enough for the service, Metro came out and did a very thorough job. Despite not having complete access to my unit because of a jammed lock, the technician was able to clean and check out my air conditioner in time for the Texas summer season. Everything is working great. I would definitely recommend Metro and use them in the future.

The service was performed with precision in a professional manner. The technician cleaned my condensing units and checked the electrical components. He then checked the freon levels. Next he checked the air handling units including filters.

They were wonderful. He was very prompt, he was thorough, he was informative, and it didn't take him very long, and he was off the door. He was a very nice young man. He was here between 45 minutes and one hour, and I didn't have to pay anything additional. I thought the price was excellent. It was very competitive. They called me the very next day to set an appointment after I bought it from Angie's List. I put the receipt, and his card is taped on the air conditioner. I won't use anybody else.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. It was fine. There were no additional charges. I would use them again.

Chaz called to confirm I was home and let me know he was on his way around the agreed upon appointment time. He checked over the AC unit, asking me questions about its service history and if I had any concerns. He patiently explained what he was checking and why as he worked. He was knowledgeable and friendly, and due to the age of my unit he enumerated the various things to consider when the time comes to replace it with a new unit. He discovered the unit was a little low on freeon and at my request topped it off which ended up taking about a pound of refrigerant. He explained that due to government restrictions on the production of new R22 the cost had gone up substantially. He also covered the symptoms and eventual consequences of running the unit while it was low on refrigerant, although he doubted I would experience any problems running only a pound short. One interesting bit of info was that new systems utilize high and low pressure switches like automotive AC systems, so if the system gets too low on refrigerant it will turn off before the compressor goes into overload and potentially suffers damage as a consequence.

The technician was very professional he put his paper shoe protector every time he went in and out of the house and did not try to hard sell me on anything. He came into the house up into the atic first and check out everything up their and we briefly talked about add a humidifier for the whole house (this was a question that I asked) and he told me what all would be involved. He did not even try to hard sale me on this. Then we went out side check out the outside unit and everything checked out great. He could have told me that I needed Freon and sold me one it but he didn't do that. I am going to call Metro next time I need servicing and well ask for the same tech, he was great and knew what he was doing.
