Jeff spent a lot of time with us to help us figure out what we wanted to do. We couldn't find any fabric we liked in his shop, so he stored our chair until we could find the right material somewhere else. When we did find the fabrics at a large fabric store Jeff did a very nice job re-upholstering our chair and ottomans. He made several pillows out of the left over fabric. There was a small misunderstanding about how one pillow was to be done; he replaced it at no charge. The work took a while to get done but he managed our expectations and finished when he said he would. We were happy with Jeff and his shop and we would go back there again.

We took the existing awning to their shop so they might evaluate whether or not they could do the work. After inspecting the awning they said they could do it. Only problem was their materal supplier sent the wrong fabric and this delayed completion a few days. Not a problem at this time of year as sun glare is minimal during the winter.

When we first met the owner, we were excited. After meeting him and dropping our chairs off, things went down hill from there. They were very and quot;casualand quot; about our job. In fact, at one point, they forgot about our job and at another point, they lost the chairs. This is all because it took them a very long time to finish the job. I think that they specialize in LARGE jobs. I guess our 2 antique chairs was too small and not important enough for them. We don't plan on using them ever again. If we do, we'll hire a consultant to bird dog them to ensure that the job gets completed.

Called and left several voice messages for this company. Left them my number and a description of the service I needed (which was pretty basic). NEVER heard back from them. I get it that everyone is busy, but come on!! Not returning a potential customer's call is unprofessional and so irritating. Would not recommend this company.

I have made several attempts to contact this company to restore an antique chair. After leaving at least three voicemail's (because they never answer their phone), I simply gave up and am looking for another company.

It went great!!! Jeff was very responsive when I called to get an idea of how to obtain an estimate -- took table in and he did an estimate on the spot. He also told me upfront to bring something with the wood tone that I wanted to change the table to. He was professional and easy to work with. The refinishing process took a bit longer because of the humidity and because Jeff admitted his refinishers probably didn't apply enough coats in the beginning. It was very refreshing to hear a service person admit any kind of flaw on their part. Also, he returned all my calls promptly when I checked on the table. The table came out looking wonderful and was still done within the longer time period quoted. Also, for the quality of the refinishing on the scroll work on the legs, the price was excellent!!! I would definitely use Jeff again and have already picked out some furniture to be refinished by him when the weather is warmer and he can do a quicker turn around time. I also saw examples of his re-upholstery work at his shop and was very impressed. For larger items, Jeff has a truck he can send. Long and short of it, I'm really impressed with Jeff and the quality of his work and prices.

It went very well. I take responsibility for the miscommunication for the arm covers and Jeff was very careful to make a pattern for the seamstress that will rework the arm covers.

Jeff was a pleasure to work with and so were his guys in the warehouse! They were all very helpful and kind!

ALL of the work was outstanding. The owner, Jeff, worked with us personally to select fabric, listened to our budget constraints and performed the work under budget and ahead of schedule! We paid less than we would have if we purchased the furniture from a "box store" and now have hand crafted, one of a kind signature pieces in our home. I would highly recommend Markham and will definitely be doing business again with them in the future.
