LUMBERJACK TREE SERVICE

The service was fine. They did it without tearing up my yard, and were pretty quick.

I have used Lumberjack Tree Service for many years and they have always been quick in getting me an estimate, and quick and thorough doing the work. They even try to schedule their work around my bulk trash pickup so the debris doesn't have to sit in the front yard too long. They are very easy to work with.

I called one day and an estimate was here that same day. The company was very polite and answered all my questions.They completed the job in a timely manner. This was the first time I had a tree service come to my house. The price was more than I wanted to spend, but it was about the same from any professional tree service provided in the area. They also had the utility lines marked and were very careful as they worked. They did a better job than I could have done. I would do service again with this company again.

They did an outstanding job. A little confusion on time, but everything worked out fine. I look forward to having them out again soon to do more tree trimming.

The workers were here as scheduled. They were extremely careful in removing the tree so that it would not fall near our pool. The work was done quickly. There was problem with the grinning equipment but the office staff called to let us know that they would perform the grinning early the following week. As promised the work was completed the following Monday.

I didn't want to call them right away after the ice storm hit because I knew they would be super busy (even though branches were snapping off left and right). I waited a week for things to be less hectic. I had called a couple of companies before calling Lumberjack- one was 3 WEEKS out from sending an estimator to even look at my trees and another was straight up rude telling me they wouldn't even come out unless I approved them to go ahead and do the work over the phone- WITHOUT getting a price first. When I called Lumberjack, the call taker was cool, calm and collected compared to the frenzied call takers I had spoken to at other companies. She took all my info and had an estimator out the very next day. I got my estimate that same day and scheduled it for the following week. They came out at 8 am sharp with a large crew (like 5-6 guys) and went right to climbing and cutting. I was so impressed at how meticulous they were about everything. They cut all the broken branches up and stacked them out back for me then they took a leaf blower to my whole yard and left it spotless. When they were done the crew leader called me out to inspect that I was satisfied with everything. He explained to me why and how they cut specific branches and gave me tips on when to prune my trees up in the future so this wouldn't happen again. I had the best experience dealing with this company- they are obviously customer service driven and A+ quality.

This is the first time I have had the trees trimmed since owning the property. I needed someone who was knowledgeable about the trees and how they should be shaped and suggestions on plants that should be removed. I interviewed 3 people. Two very knowledgeable but Lumberjack was $400 less than one of them for the exact same work. Lumberjack showed up on time for every appointment. The property was clean when they left. After the job was finished they walked the property with me to be sure it was like I wanted it. Invoices were sent on time. I couldn't have been more pleased and will have them come back next year.

They did not clean up their mess afterwards, but the trimming was okay.

We were very satisfied with Lumberjack. They did everything they promised to do quickly and professionally. The estimate was lower than we expected for this much service. The crew spotted a problem with some roof shingles that had been damaged by overhanging tree limbs and helped get that repaired. They did not schedule the tree removal services for the middle of the week when brush would have remained at the curbside for days, but scheduled it for the day before brush pickoff was scheduled by the city. The work performed was done excellently (we reviewed each item on the contract with them and took a look at it with them, and they gave us answers to our questions regarding the potential needs for future service, not doing work now that could be done later). Overall we would give them an A+.

They contacted me promptly, furnished an estimate and removed the tree stump (which was 3 feet across) in one day.

I just bought a very neglected house. The foundation man said to dispose of a lovely magnolia that was way too close to the house. Lumberjack came out promptly, gave me a price that I accepted and went to work very promptly. They explained their work and their pricing. They arrived at the appointed time and did the work. There were no changes in schedule or excuses. They did what they said they would do and did it on time. I would and will use them again as they were very professional and businesslike. They also did a very good job.

Good. Would recommend. Had a discussion about a diseased part of tree that I wanted cut. The service person's opinion was that cutting such a large brach would result in the tree dying. I decided to trust him. So far, so good. My one criticism is that the charges seemed to be per tree, not necessarily per amount of work that each tree would require. I have one very large pine tree (40+ feet tall), and one quite small pine tree (10 feet), and both cost the same to trim. I did not pay attention to the estimate, so it's my fault for not mentioning this before the service. But just remember to pay attention and ask questions. Friendly telephone service and work crew.

They did a great job. We have more trees to come down later in the back and we will definitely hire again.

Nathan was extremely courteous, punctual, and knowledgeable, he gave me a price to remove one tree and trim a second tree..everything was fine until I told him great lets get it done and when i shook his hand he hesitated and failed to make eye contact with me...It was very subtle but enough to make me notice. It made me uncomfortable enough to get another estimate from a different company which I did, and received a price that was 1000 dollars LESS to remove BOTH trees.... Thanks to his little goof I saved myself 1000 dollars...

I called on Thursday and Lumberjack came on Monday to remove the tree. It was really fast! Thanks!

Very professionally executed cutting down of this large tree from beginning to end. Nathan, whho gave the estimate, was polite and arrived on time. Cost had no hidden charges. Arrived on time with crew, who lowered the large limbs wth ropes. Very smoothly done, no damage. Will highly recommend them to friends.

They did a great job! Nathan came out the same day I called and then sent me a detailed estimate via email. Maria provided me with their proof of insurance. Of the three estimators I spoke with, Nathan was the most professional. When I called to schedule the work, they were quick to accommodate my schedule. The tree trimming and stump grinding crews showed up on time and got the work done fast!

After giving me an estimate on all trees requested, including some being my neighbors, I took approximately 2 months on determining which I could actually afford to have done. Although it was a fair price considering so many trees, I finally determined on Monday morning when I was home with my sick daughter, I needed to get it done. I called early and believe it or not, they showed up the same day and did a beautiful job. I had used them before and they did a great job then with many of my neighbors coming over and telling me how great the live oak in my front yard looked. This time however, I wanted the canopy higher so that it would not need to be trimmed again for another 3 or 4 years, I hope anyway.

After getting a few estimates and reading about them on Angie's List I decided to hire Lumberjack. They arrived on schedule and completed the job on schedule at the estimated price. I'm glad to have that old tree gone and was very pleased with dealing with them.
