Derek and team are totally customer focused. The inside team is responsive and they are all just nice to people to work with. Plus, they did an great job. I've not had a big tree removed before so to me it was an unusual situation, location of tree near house, pipes and line and a lot of big surface roots. But they made accommodations, had the right team and equipment and exceeded expectations. Also, I wanted to work with certified arborist as well for these tree projects and needs - Derek made helpful recommendations.

My family has been a repeat customer of Lumberjack Tree Service since July 2013. The owner, Derek, always greets you with a smile and a firm handshake and works with you to provide you with quality service. Each time Derek or members of his team has come out, they’re polite and courteous – rare qualities seen in today’s market. The team is also careful and respectful of our property and of our neighbors and does an excellent job of cleaning up before leaving. Because of this we called them out again this past week when we needed some trees pruned away from our house (which had caused damage to our home and fence and had grown over our fence from adjacent properties). Once again, they did a great job of cleaning up when they were finished. They were even kind enough to remove two large piles of branches which had been ripped from our backyard tree during a severe thunderstorm just a few weeks prior to their visit and wasn't originally in the scope of the work. We’ll definitely be calling on Lumberjack Tree Service again when needed and recommend them for all of your tree service needs!

Derek and company were very professional to deal with and did an excellent job on my trees. They also did great job cleaning up and hauling off the debris, you would never have known they were even there if not for the fresh trimmed look of the trees. I would definitely recommend them and would not hesitate to use him again.

Derek and his boys did a remarkable job. I had a large limb down from a storm after already having a quote and appointment scheduled for yearly trimming, and he did not charge extra! Plus, the quote was very reasonable to begin with. Derek explained everything for each tree and checked with me for satisfaction before leaving. The crew was kind and respectful and they did a very good job of cleaning up as well. This was a great experience and I would highly recommend Lumberjack Tree Service I will be contacting them again when I need future pruning.

Derek the owner was here with his crew to handle the total job. He kept in touch the entire time making sure work was done right and also if we wanted more pruning done. Small company focused on customer satisfaction. Second time I have hired them and will go back to them again.

I had several trees in my yard that needed trimming. My trees are all giant; the standard rate is around $500 per tree. Lumberjack did a fantastic job. Everything looks great. I could definitely have brought in a cheaper crew, but they would not have done as high quality a job. And as anyone knows, quality is important because it takes your trees a couple years to recover from a hatchet job.

Derek was very efficient, professional and knowledgeable. He came in for a free estimate, and he was able to get the job done on the same day. The tree was in an awkward location between the AC unit and the wall. Derek carefully removed the tree and also cleaned the debris. Thank you for an awesome job. The process went great! Derek was very responsive on the first phone call to his company. The job was reviewed and quoted in person by Derek on the same day, and work was completed shortly thereafter. GREAT!!! Bradford tree was damaged after rainstorm . Called Dereck they came out the SAME day and cut away damaged part of tree and removed parts from fence and yard. Trimmed remaining part of tree and cleaned it all up in neat pile infront of my home for city to haul away the next day!!! They have trimmed our trees in the past by appointment but we were VERY grateful for his speedy reply because the forecast called for another overnight strong storm and we were concerned. Definitely recommend Dereck and his crew!!

Crew lead was good listener, allowed interaction to result in specific trimming requested. Used basic pole saws stacked for height. They observed social distancing protocol.

The work performed was beyond excellent. We initially intended to have our tree completely cut down due to the damage it was causing to the yard and house. But the professional advice provided to us by them was to instead prune the tree and that will make it beautiful and prevent the issues we were having. We decided to go that route and we could not be happier. The tree is beautiful again and the yard looks beautiful with the tree the way it was pruned by this very professional company.

Highly recommend Lumberjack Tree Service. We had a very large tree that fell in our yard during a storm. After contacting Lumberjack, they quickly responded to our call and came out and did a great job removing the tree/stump for us.
