First of all these guys accept quote requests over the web. They respond while you're working with a nice, clear, concise estimate in Adobe PDF format. Then they call you to let you know they're there on the day they're to arrive (after calling to confirm the visit). Then they show up on time (how rare these days). They do the work they say they'll do. They do a good job. They're relatively neat and tidy (how tidy and neat can trees be expected to be?). Then (you can pass out now) they actually call and find out how the visit went. And they actually care that you're happy. They billed what they said they would. Courteous, professional, good quality work. Rare today - and from a tree service no less! Excellent work. I would use them again in a minute. Reasonable prices too.

I asked them to give me a bid of removing broken branches and trimming a large ash tree in front yard and trimming a live oak in the back yard. They got someone out the next day and called with a quote of $405.00. I told them go do the work. I was generally satisfied, but some dead wood and storm-damaged branches were left in the tree, so I asked them to correct it. Initially, they said I had to be there, but when I said I could not, they said they would correct it without my presence. Subsequently, they returned and corrected the problems. I'm very happy with them. They followed up with me to be certain I was satisfied. Obviously, they are dedicated to making their customers happy.

I called several tree services before Lumberjack, but either no one returned my call or they said they were too busy (a major storm has just gone through the area). Lumberjack answered their phone the first time I called, gathered my information, and promised to get someone out there for an estimate as soon as possible. She did tell me they were pretty booked because of the latest storm, but would try to get someone by the next day. I received a call the next day and not only did she have someone available for an estimate, but if the price was right, I could go ahead and get it done that afternoon! The crew came out and gave a fair estimate, and immediately started work on removing the tree. No damage was done to my fence, pool, or garden areas during their work.

I was impressed with the professionalism of the receptionist. The owner gave a prompt estimate. The estimate was for $425, he lowered it $50 for a senior discount, and lowered it further when I let him know I had an even lower estimate from someone else. He gave a very detailed estimate and provided clear indication in writing for what he was going to do. They came on time, worked quickly and carefully and did a fine job. They were courteous.

Lumber Jack Tree Service is great! I called and within 30 minutes or so, Derek (the owner) was at my door giving me an estimate! Derek is very honest and friendly and is 110% committed to making sure the customer is satisfied. The work was actually performed the same day and the team did a great job. I would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone! A+.

I think it went very well. I was not able to be home either day while they were working, and in fact they showed up much faster than I was expecting them to. As the store hit a large area of Dallas, when I called they were of course very busy. I told them I did not have anything serious affected by the downed trees and if they needed to take care of others first I had no problem with that. They ended up here within the same week I called, so I was thrilled. This was down and dirty work, due to the sheer volume of debris. Derek and his staff are very nice, and I have been very happy with their work.

The people who did the work were professional and were impressive. There were no problems. They also came back to ground the stump.
