LUMBERJACK TREE SERVICE

The trees looked great. They were all trimmed on one day and then they came back to grind the stumps of the two trees that remained. I only have one issue with the company. I received the invoice and submitted it to my credit union bill pay to be paid on the same day. Making payments takes a little longer that way but I don't carry checks and pay all my bills that way. I received phone calls and emails (maybe one or two of each) asking if I had received the invoice maybe three or four days after I did receive it. The payment cleared my account a day or two after I submitted it, but it took a few days to reach them and I was stressed out that something had gone wrong with the process for about two weeks. I didn't feel like they were giving me enough time to make the payment.

No work was done, but this is a very knowledgeable and professional company.

read above. It went great and the men knew what they were doing. There were two thing that seem to disappoint me. When the man came for the estimate he thought we would have enough room on the street to pile all the limbs for the city to pick up. No such luck. We had to place some on the yard and it made the grass brown after it sat there a week. Then they came to ground the stump and our fence was too narrow to get the grinder through. So we are stuck with the stump. Had I known, I would have left it higher so we could make a table or something decorative there. Over all I was happy with the crew and felt they were very honest. They didn't charge for the stump grinding since they couldn't get in the yard.

We were very pleased with service and price. They got back with us quickly and had a same day estimate. They set up the appointment the next day. Crew that came out was very knowledgeable and courteous. Will call again in winter to cut mistletoe. We've always had to handle debris ourselves and this was included. Highly recommend.

All the work went very smoothly, and the workers were very efficient, courteous, and cautious of my fence, gate, and other plants. They hauled away all that they cut and cleaned up after themselves, so that only a little sawdust was left. They did not overtrim the trees like I've seen in the neighborhood, but the trees were left with a very natural effect and not this barren umbrella appearance that looks very unnatural. I was called before, during, and after the service to insure I was pleased. I think they did a marvelous job on my overgrown trees, but my dog misses barking at the squirrels in the tree that was removed!

Out of the three companies we called, this one was the most responsive. Nathan arrived at our house on a Monday to give us the estimate and we had the estimate returned the same day. Once we agreed to the bid, the work was performed on time and debris was stacked up nicely in our alley for city haul-away. Once our buried lines were marked, we also had the stump ground. Unfortunately we had some gas lines in the way and could not grind it as deeply as we would like, but that's how it goes.

Everything was fantastic. They cleaned up like they said they would and they even helped us out by cleaning off part of our roof and pointing out that there had been some roof tile issues. We thought the price would be a lot more than it was for the work that they did. I probably would have been more aggressive with the tree trimming but it looks good.

This is my third time to use this company and I would highly recommend them to anyone needing tree service. They are punctual, courteous and very skilled at their job. They always leave the area neat and tidy. The written estimate you receive details the work to be done, so there is no misunderstanding.

I could not have been more pleased. I called on Monday to request an estimate; I received the estimate by email on Tuesday; I engaged their services on Wednesday; and by Thursday evening the work was complete. The company demonstrated exemplary professionalism at every step of the process. The receptionist who took my call was courteous, well-informed, and patient with my questions and requests. After the estimate was done, I received a follow-up phone call and was able to schedule the job for the following day. My trees have never looked better, and the yard was clean and tidy; the workers had even swept my front steps! I would recommend Lumberjack Tree Service without reservation.

Team of 3 arrived right on time. They went right to work, two in the trees and one cleaning up the cuttings. They accomplished everything we asked of them in professional manner and cleaned up so well, you could not even tell they had been there. They finsihed on time and for the negotiated price. Staff was onsite by 8am and finshed by 4pm. Trees looked great and as I expected them to look. Staff paid attention to details and even completed a few extras at no additional cost. I would recommend this company and will give them a call when my trees need pruning again.

I contacted them through Angie's List, they called and e-mailed right away. They came out and looked at the trees the next day and had an estimate for us that same day. They followed up with us, then got us on the schedule immediately. Their estimate was complete, and their work excellent. They even followed up with phone calls and e-mails to be sure the work was to our satisfaction.

We needed two trees pruned and thinned out. We've been in our house (which we purchased new) almost 11 years and had never done any serious pruning of the trees. We found Lumberjack on Angie's List and inquired about service via their website. They called us the following day to arrange a free estimate. Derek came to the house and gave me an estimate over the phone. We agreed to the price. Alicia sent us a formal estimate via email which required our signature to proceed. Unfortunately email replies to lumberjack were bouncing back, so we faxed back the signed Estimate. The next day Alicia called to schedule the pruning for the following day. Alicia called us to let us know the crew was on the way. The crew arrived on time and did a great job. The trees look much better and now the grass beneath them should be much happier. The crew did a quick and thorough job, stacked the limbs near the alley as asked and cleaned up the leaf debris. We are happy with the service and will use Lumberjack again.

Not only did we receive a quick turn around on the estimate, but the crew arrived a few days later, on time and ready to work. I was amazed at how quickly the men managed to complete the job (under two hours). They were very conscientious about the trees' health and shape. And they were diligent with clean-up. We arranged the job to occur just prior to our bulk trash pick up, so the crew cut the larger limbs to manageable sizes and neatly stacked those along with smaller limbs and debris on the curb. I highly recommend Lumberjack Tree Service for their honest pricing, diligent work and professionalism. I would call them out again in an instant. In fact, we used their services again when we lost a few limbs during the mid-February 2010 storm. Another prompt excellent job!

Contacted Lumberjack Tree Service and Derek came out and looked at my trees that day. He provided me an estimate and then we arranged for a specific date. I wanted the pruned branches to be placed curbside and picked up the same week as the bulk trash pickup. We agreed on Monday, Feb 8. It rained that day so we arranged to have the date rescheduled. They came out the next morning at 9am and performed the work as promised. Everything was done exactly as they had promised and for the price we agreed too. When they were finished, they cleaned up around the tree areas and picked up all debris and left it curbside. The best part, the city came by 30 minutes after they left and picked up the debris. Timing could not have been more perfect. We are also fortunate that the tree pruning was completed before the snowstorm or we would have lost branches and possibly a tree. We will be using Lumberjack in the future.

They came the same day I called for the estimate and performed the service the next week. I was pleased with all aspects of the service. I would recommend them.

Response time was same day for the estimate. Because of heavy rains, the actual work was delayed a couple of days. The crew came at scheduled time, they were very nice, they did everything as I requested. The cleanup was so good that I don't think my neighbors will even know I had the work done until one day they will look up and say "wasn't there a limb that came over our yard from that front tree"?

We had gotten their name off Angie's List last year and used them for some pruning and were pleased so we called them again this year. Even though this was not an emergency they were out within 24 hours. They called before coming at 7:30 a.m. and were here within an hour. They brought a crew even though I had told them I just wanted an estimate. The supervisor walked the yard with us and gave us good advice on things we hadn't considered as well as a price. Although we felt no pressure to have them do the work right then, we were pleased with the price and had them go ahead. They did the work within an hour and a half and cleaned up very nicely. They didn't ask for payment at that time, but emailed me an invoice later in the day. All was so easy and well done - we were very pleased.

I called around 10am on a Wednesday morning, and the owner had a crew out the same day so that the city didn't fine us for the large limb covering the sidewalk. They came out later that day, cut up and cleared out the limbs. They were courteous and prompt, quick and very reasonably priced, and very ethical estimate practices. We would recommend them to anyone and will be using them again!

I had a large tree that had roots growing underneath the foundation of the house. The root barrier was installed to prevent this from continuing.

I have put this off until I could not stand it anymore. When I finally got around to calling, they were prompt and professional and honest about the work that needed to be done. I was told that the team would come talk to me when they got to the back trees over the pool to make sure that I was pleased with how much would be taken off; they did. It was a very big job, and I am pleased with how everything looks now.

They did an excellent job. I explained what I wanted and they went to work quickly and efficiently. It took less than an hour and they had me review everything before paying them.

I was impressed with Lumberjack, the company is professional...wants your business and very responsive. I was most impressed with the fact I was contacted and had a person at my house quoting my work within three hours of sending the e-mail. Terry, the salesman, is very personable and gives honest straight forward advice.

They were quick to respond to my initial call for an estimate. They came out measured, and discussed options. Were willing to work with me to meet my budget estimate costs. Came out the following day. Was raining in the morning and the office called to notify me that the crew would start as soon as the storms passed.
