LUMBERJACK TREE SERVICE

After many stops and starts with many companies, Lumberjack was able to get out there and do the job for a reasonable amount. Did not mind little extras (like cutting and stacking firewood). Performed work quickly and efficiently.

Overall it went well. I paid $75 extra to have the limbs hauled away. Clean-up was not perfect but better than most contractors I have worked with.

I called Lumberjack and arranged for them to come out which was the next day and he gave me the price to do the Live Oak tree. I arranged for a day and time for the crew to show up which they did. They did a great job and stacked the limbs by the curb for city pick up and cleaned up all the little limbs and leaves. They did such a great job that I called Lumberjack again and had them come back a few weeks later to do the two Red Oaks in the back yard. This job was done with the same satisfaction as with the first job. I wolul higly recomend them to anyone that needed tree service.

I needed tree branches that hung over the alley trimmed within a week to comply with the City of Carrollton's regulations. I left a message on Friday and got a call back the first thing Monday morning. They provided an estimate that same day and scheduled the service for Wednesday. They came on schedule and completed the project as agreed. The branches were cut to the required length and placed on the curb for city pickup. The service was professional and well performed.

Estimate was very professionally written. Price was in line with other quotes I got. Removed both trees in less than 2 hours and stacked on sidewalk. Stump grinding happened a couple days after because locates were needed. I did email the company once because the stump grinding happened on Monday instead of Friday and they responded quickly to my email and explained why. Not a big issue at all. It would be nice to have an extra service provided, maybe at an additional cost, to remove the wood chips left by the stump grinding (I'm still shoveling and bagging the remains :).

I contacted a couple of tree services from Angie?s list but they were unable to come out for a week or so, and I had to have the trees trimmed by August 10 th. I spoke with Maria at Lumberjack and explained my dilemma; she said she?d have an estimator call me back as soon as possible. Well as soon as possible was like 15 minutes. I spoke with Nathan who was extremely professional. He took the time to explain several options to resolve my situation and answered my million questions. Once our conversation was completed he promptly sent me a very reasonable estimate for the job at which time I accepted. When a Certificate of Insurance was requested that as well was promptly forwarded. The next day the service was performed. Lumberjack did an excellent job and very prompt with every aspect of the work. I would recommend Lumberjack tree service to anybody needing tree trimming. Great. They even hauled the branches off for us rather than stack them in the alley. They did a great job. Also, Maria, their admin. assistant, will take care of the billing efficiently and even check back with you before running the credit card to make sure everything is to your satisfaction. I was very impressed with her assistance.

This is the second time i have used umber jack. They answer the phone instead of receiving noise mall they are on time and the crew is well organized. I would definitely recommended them.

Their crew (not subcontractor) did an excellent job and used their experience and judgement to skillfully prune my oak. It wasn't over pruned and they provided the much needed light for growth of our St. Augustine while maintaining great shape.Would defiantly recommend them and already have to the neighbors. Requested stacking of debris and they did a good clean up.

They took down an old and dying tree without any damage to surrounding structures! The cleaned up and hauled the tree to the front for garbage pick-up the next day. I would strongly recommend Lumberjack to anyone who needs tree services and I'd use them again if the need arises!

They called to confirm the day before the work was to be completed and arrived on time. My mom was delighted with the courtesy and professionalism of the staff that came to the house. They had to remove part of the fence to bring the wood to the front and restored it after they were done. Mom reported that they worked very hard and the results showed. The wood was stacked for the city to pick up as close to the curb as possible and they raked and cleaned the small debris and limbs from the yard as well. i would highly recommend their service.

No service was performed because they said they do not service my area. They need to be removed from the filtering system that puts them in the list for Grand Prairie residents.

The company was punctual and professional. They sent a three man crew out on the day we agreed on and were careful not to let any branches hit the house as they came down. They stacked the limbs at the curb for the city to pick up the next day. Another crew arrived and ground the stump down below grade. The only reason for the "B" on price was that my neighbor, who at one time was in the tree service business in another state, told me I over paid for the work. I don't know, I didn't get other bids. Still, they are bonded and insured, and did a professional job in bringing down a large tree without causing any damage and I'm good with that..
