LOWE'S

BUYER BEWARE!!! Spent $3200 to get cabinets and a vanity installed at the store on Bryant Irvin. I received a call 3 weeks after placing the order stating that everything was in. Twenty minutes later, I received another call starting that part of the cabinet was back ordered. No one could tell me why I received the first call. Now three weeks later, and I had confirmed installation again. An hour before the install time window was to elapse, I received another call stating that they ordered the incorrect piece, and it was damaged. All pieces had been at the store for a week (most for over 3 weeks); however, no one bothered to inspect all the pieces. In addition, I had all of my plumbing removed for the installation, and my husband had to miss work to accommodate the installation schedule. I asked to have the name and phone number/email of the regional manager multiple times but was told they couldn’t provide that information to me. I did some digging and found a number on online. Again, I was told that I couldn’t have the regional manager’s information , but I could file a corporate complaint, and I would be contacted within 24 hours. I called the store back asking to speak to the store manager, and I was turned over to a department manager. I have yet to be able to speak to the ACTUAL store manager or a regional manager.

Quoted price was extremely high. Sales rep at Lowes was very friendly and said the quote was high because they were middle men but they would try to match the other quotes we received. After speaking to her manager the price quoted was high because of the quality but if we were only concerned about price we should go with the other FOUR companies that quoted a lot lower. Needless to say we will be choosing one of the local companies with great quality and better pricing, do not waste your time giving Lowes $35 to measure because they cannot compete.

Horrific service. Quite non-responsive. Had trouble to get it scheduled for installation. did not expect this from Lowes. Angie from installation services is completely non-responsive and does not return messages.. broken windows and despite leaving messages.... nobody from Lowes calls about how to fix the problem. Had to keep calling them to get assistance. Had to call Store Manager and still waiting for assistance.

They did a great job!

Within 4 days after our purchase, we found out a defect in it. We contacted them and they took care of it immediately and the service was fantastic.

Good installation. Easy to schedule. Good price.

I used them last year. He was great. They did the design. They printed it out and gave us a copy. They were thorough. For him to come out, it was $75. If you decided to go with them, that money is reimbursed on the purchase. He came out and took measurements and did a drawing of what it would look like. They give you a list of the part numbers. It was all the information contained in the proposal. They go over the proposal and once you are satisfied, you sign off on it. It is delivered to your home. The installers call you when it is ready and they schedule a time with you to come out. It all went pretty smoothly and it worked out well. It was in the expected timeframe.

Now I am energy efficient in every way. They gave good advice that front-loading machines were a big pain to lean over and load and unload, which I hadn't thought about. They also warned me if I had put in granite countertops and tile floors, they might not be able to install the dishwasher. They hauled off all the old stuff and had it recycled.

If you want to go to Lowe's to buy something, make sure you can do it yourself or hire your own contractor. Do NOT use the contractors they recommend as I have found them to be extremely unreliable and unprofessional.
