Description of Work: I asked them for a quote on replacing the roof, 3 skylights, and the soffet. I was giving a quote on the roof only. I asked for more details on the quote plus quotes on the skylights. I would get non-specfic answers like ranges or be ignored. I informed that I was declining. The owner (Ron Latham) got very belligerent and insulting. Then I received a bill for a roof inspection per our agreement. I never asked for an inspection only an estimate so there was no agreement. I filed a Better Business Bureau complaint, but I doubt it is going to do any good. I would suggest you stay far far away from this company.

+ -1 moreSadly, once Latham learned we did not select them, they decided to bill us for the estimate, even though that had never been mentioned by them prior to or during the rep's visit and BTW, none of the other roofing companies billed us.
Description of Work: One of five roofing companies contacted to provide an evaluation and estimate on complete roof replacement. Received name from respected real estate friend. Was told by Latham rep. who provided estimate that the company does not carry liability or workman's comp insurance -- that nobody does or the cost would be twice the amount. After reviewing all bids, we chose another company that was only a few hundred dollars more, carries liability insurance, workman's comp., stands behind their product, uses no subs, has excellent reputation and we would use them again.

+ -1 moreI cannot believe this company is listed on this site! They subcontracted out my job. It was done poorly. I paid the person who did the job. Latham billed me and continued to harrass me after I explained to them that I had already paid! My grade is F.
