Requested 100% of the payment to be made 3 days in advance of the scheduled job. They canceled after I inquired as to why this was the case. I even offered to meet them in person and pay upon arrival. I manage multiple homes in the area and have worked with a variety of contractors, none of whom require full payment days in advance. Aside from unprofessional business practices, this is an obvious red flag from the standpoint of fraud. That said, I’m sure that this is an over-corrective response to them getting burned themselves, and doing a small job in a busy season. However, we should all be mindful of the pitfalls of shady business, and this is a top red flag. I welcome any level of response from the owner or his team. fyi - Any general google search will return a range of similar information: Considerations: • Do you pay your employees in advance? • Do you pay your subcontractors in advance for the work they do for you? • Do you pay your suppliers in advance, or do you have open accounts and are billed monthly? • Do you pay your truck service center in advance before they repair your truck? • Since you don’t pay anyone in advance, why are you asking me to do it? The price quote was very reasonable. Sounded professional on the phone. Came out during the agreed upon time slot. The work looked good (mowing/edging/blowing the front yard). My husband and I discussed setting up a regular mowing schedule with Casey and possibly some additional landscaping work. We agreed to an every two week summer schedule for mowing. Casey said he'd get prices on plastic flower bed lining & mulch and call us back to confirm his guestimate on the pricing. We never heard from Casey again. He never showed up again, made the promised calls, or responded to any more of our calls.

My lawn mower wouldn’t start so I needed to find someone to mow the lawn. Casey answered the phone first thing in the morning, and my lawn was mowed (& edged) by 3pm the same day. He was on-time, professional and fast!

Great results from Casey and the team at Landscaping Lawn Services. Moved into a new home in east dallas and yes needed a complete overhaul - mowing, edging, trimming, you name it. Very responsive, showed up on time and the price for lawn care was very fair. Would recommend for sure. We hired them to come every two weeks.

I have xeriscaping in the front and back that's been neglected for a little while. He came when he said he would. He gave a fair estimate, I paid with paypal, and the work was done well. No issues. Would hire again.

Everything was done properly and as offered. Casey is in this area pretty regularly so he has been easy to reach and schedule. Our last job was $52 just for the front yard, but we have paid him more in the past for both yards and getting leaves off the flat roof and gutters of our sunroom. Reasonable and does a quality job.
