Description of Work: Tore off old wallboard on outside walls behind kitchen & den. Salvaged existing insulation liner and replaced with new wallboard. Matched pattern well, and also painted / matched color to remaining wallboard (not replaced). Did a good job. * May be wrong on date, but believe it was summer of 2011 that work was performed.

+ 0 moreHe was very good. He certainly cleaned up the area very well but what I liked most about him was that he didn't talk to me like I was an idiot because I am not very technical. He gave very good explanations. He was very professional, very courteous and cost effective.
Description of Work: I used Ken Robison to install an overhead fan ceiling weight and install a motion detector in the back of the house with a light fixture.

+ -1 moreKen arrived promptly and immediately went to work. He installed the bed frame and then attached the mirror to the dresser. He was also able to remove some of the old moving company stickers from the furniture, which was a miracle! He is very laid back, nice and professional. I would defintely recommend him for anyone needing a handyman, carpenter or woodworking.
Description of Work: Ken came over to look at what was needed - bed rails for a 48 year old canopy bed, attachment of a mirror to the dresser of this set, and perhaps the construction of a drawer to replace one that is missing from the dresser. He was very prompt and professional. I had a good feeling that he would be able to find a bed rail for my old bed and he did!

I added more to the project at the last minute and he worked hard to accommodate my late request. I'm very pleased with the work and the outcome of the project thus far.
Description of Work: Took out two sections of kitchen cabinets and appliances, built furniture store cabinets, installed the cabinets (upper and lower) and installed a microwave with vent hood and stove. Consulted about the best way to redo my kitchen in stages and made several good suggestions, which I think will enhance my project overall.

+ -1 moreHe just happened to have some time available when he came to make the estimate. I had tried to call him all week, but he was out of town on a job. I was pleased that he contacted me and was available. I will use him anytime I need carpentry work and other handyman jobs. He arrived at my house precisely when he said that he would come.
Description of Work: Mr. Robison repaired a cabinet in the small bathroom that had been damaged by a water leak when the tank of the toilet leaked and flooded the room. The cabinet looked like someone had chiseled sections off of it. Mr. Robison cut away the damaged portion of the cabinet and replaced it with another piece that matched it perfectly about 30 X 20". When he finished, the cabinet looked as good as it did when it was new. I was amazed considering the extensive damage from the water. He charges $65 per hour rounding the first two hours up to the nearest amount, and then prorating every 15 minutes there after. He is a perfectionist and I was thoroughly pleased with his work. He does other things such as cabinet installation, including cabinets ordered from IKEA. I was rushed that day and did not get enough details from him. He and Larry from Justin Repairs work closely and sometimes one does repairs that the other does not do. I was really pleased with his cabinetry work.

cabinet refacing
+ -1 moreHe is a master at what he does. His work quality is unsurpassed. He came on time and worked quickly. There are only good things to say about him and his work. We were very impressed with his knowledge and talent. His price was very good.
Description of Work: Ken Robison removed the doors on 17 cabinets. He then sanded, stained and painted them and then put them back on.
