The result was very poor. Initial installation resulted in several areas with audible and visible popping of individual planks. Provider replaced several planks over several visits, however, this caused still more areas to have issues, as it loosened the overall fit of the remaining planks. Provider blamed the glue, my wife, the flooring materials, his employee who did the install, and my foundation, at various times during the project. Although, to his credit, he came back several times to attempt to rectify the situation, we are left with a shoddy flooring installation. Provider claims to have no insurance, and he expected us to provide completely new materials in order to replace the floor, which my wife and I were unwilling to do. Several spots have scratches and blemishes where glue was left behind for an extended period. Also, the provider left paint on my furniture and front door. Bottom line, we are left with a floor that is far less than what we thought we were paying for. This provider's biggest problem is that he is a poor communicator and is unwilling to accept responsibility when mistakes are made. He and his team seem like extremely hard-working and overall decent gentlemen, however, I would not recommend this provider. Next time when we work with a contractor, we will insist on everything in writing, that the work be provided with a warranty, and that the terms be clearly spelled out.
