The painter did not prepare the surfaces for paint, they grossly over-sprayed all the cabinets in the kitchen, spraying the ceiling black. spraying the wall outlets and switches, and not cutting in the walls. To be fair i want to say his paint job itself was not bad, but here is the negative. Juan was to return to "touch up" the over spray, and to finish up the paint. When he returned the contractor had sanded multiple spots around the house due to poor sheetrock repairs done in the past by the home owner. Juan saw the repaired areas and took a look at the over-sprayed areas and agreed that he needed to come in a fix his errors. Upon returning the following day as per schedule, he came in ( appearing off as if on something) got angry with the amount of work that he felt he was not responsible for and walked off saying he was done. He did not fix the black paint on the ceiling ( covering 14 ft of ceiling area) Did not fix the walls with ceiling paint on the throughout the house or the ceiling spaces with wall paint on them throughout the house. Did not repaint the missed areas on exterior of the house and did not do a thorough job caulking any of the areas. Juan took a few draws and admittedly we paid too much of the balance before he had completed the job and thus he had little to lose before he walked off and refused to return... We are praying for Juan and his family, but we will NOT recommend using him on ANY jobs in the future...
