J & A Asphalt and Concrete

Joshua was very nice until job done and he was paid. Shortly afterwards and after 1st rain, I noticed a sizeable puddle. When I called him he said he told me there were no guarantees. He said I needed a top layer of sealer for $1000. I had already paid him $5800. Seriously!! Before I hired him I asked numerous times about process and procedure. I asked about 1stlayer of aggregate/pebbles. He said that was only for concrete not asphalt. He offered no warranty although he advertises. Now I have grass growing up through the asphalt. It's only been 4 months. Don't think he is licensed. DO NOT HIRE HIM.

3600sf driveway and parking lot was done efficiently and to my specifications. Extra material and labor was added to my satisfaction. Owners and crew worked together as an orderly, competent group. I was onsite and observed the entire process start to completion. Equipment , tools, crew and management did a professional job with no drama. These guys have 30 years of experience and it really showed. This is my second experience with Angi. I am very happy and pleased with J &A Asphalt & Concrete. I will use these guys again.

Response was timely initially, but the asphalt patch was skimpy and caved in. When I called to request repairing the patch and even offered more $ to do so, he did not respond and has not returned my call or text. So, no, I would not recommend him. Ellen L. in Irving, TX

Very unprofessional no tools borrowed from I had wanted me to give items they saw in my house no clean I would not suggest anyone to hire them trying to rush to leave again very disappointed I hate I ever used them they were not courteous thank God its over . Rated them a 2 but much lower
