HURD LIGHTING

Hired Joe to fix a tripping breaker. He was hard to communicate with and didn't seem to hear or understand things well. He took hours to find the issue and charged us a high amount. He didn't fix our other electrical issues that he was suppose to and he then left an invoice. He promised to come fix the other issue but never came. After a week of trying to get ahold of him he said he would not be coming back out. We moved on to another electrician who was cheaper and did better work.

Excellent quality work and fair pricing. He is timely and nice as could be.

Same day response. I requested an estimate, but was told he would have to estimate 'very high' and suggested an hourly rate, plus materials ($75 per hour, I believe). He was pleasant and polite. We discussed concern about son not seeing him work, due to planned surprise. Work was completed satisfactorily, before Christmas, and is functioning. However, clean-up was poor; wires, removed articles, cords, etc. left scattered in yard. $250 charged for 'materials' but no receipt was provided. Some items purchased were not needed/used and left, but I don't need and have no receipt to return. Started work about an hour later than scheduled and was still working when son returned home from school, eliminating the surprise. I should have gotten an estimate, Total charge was higher than I had expected.

It went very well. He went out of his way to replace a bulb in the new lighting and get some extra equipment. He was fast. And the cost was reasonable.

I have used him several times in the past and he is always great. He did an absolute fantastic job. I was so impressed with his work that when it comes time to re wire my whole house I am definitely going to have him back. He was detailed with everything that he did and I was very satisfied.
