Hunter Plumbing

We are very pleased with the service we received from Hunter Plumbing. Jessica, Nick, and Bryan are very organized and professional. They took the time to explain the work that needed to be done. They were on time and worked very efficiently. We talked to other plumbers who also seemed to be very good and competitive (some higher, some lower on price). We chose Hunter Plumbing because they seem to be one of the most utilized with many favorable comments from members of Angie's list. They lived up to their reputation.

I never got past trying to tell them what I wanted. The woman I talked with got angry, and asked me where I got the co's number. When I told her I got the number from Angie's list, she said I should look for another company.

I was impressed that Hunter Plumbing came to the house to give accurate price estimates before scheduling the work. Nick was considerate enough to warn me that the tub shower hardware I had selected had a design flaw. He recommended two lower priced better performing substitutes. On the day they arrived to do the work I was treated like a well loved family member. Even though my plumbing was not co-operating, causing them to take longer than anticipated, Nick still took the time to repeatedly stop and educate me on things I needed to be aware of. They treated my house like it was their house, and took the extra time and effort to do the job right. They were understanding and tolerant of my nervous dog. This is my first referral from Angie's List and I am thrilled. If they are all like this I will be overjoyed.

They were great! Very prompt and a pleasure to do business with. They seemed very knowledgeable and completed the work quickly.

Excellent service! The company arrived during the time window they had specified, fixed the problem and charged a reasonable fee for their services. The employees on site were courteous and let me know exactly what they were doing.

Nick, Brian, and the crew completed the drain replacement, cement refill, barrier installation and test for the master shower. They worked fast, answered all questions, all at what seemed to be very reasonable price given other estimates.

Nick came out and quoted the job and ended up fixing an issue with the tub draining that I hadn't noticed. It was draining out into the ground (pier and beam). He reattached. They came out a week later to replace the iron pipes. They basically added new pipes. Everything works great and the work was done quickly. I am very happy with the price and being a member of Angies List saved me the service call fee, $45.

The guys arrived on time right after Jessica called to tell me they were coming. They replaced the supply line for the toilet and finished the toilet replacement that I had started.

Nick is very punctual. He is polite and up front about the estimated cost of repair. I've since had him come out for a smaller repair since and wouldn't hesitate to use him again.

They are prompt and their people are so nice. I was happy with the quality of work. I've called them for a leak with my washing machine and instead of coming out and charging me they let me know I should contact an appliance repair company. I appreciate the honesty.

I was very pleased. This company is very professional, a class act. They quickly returned my email, and scheduled an appointment. They called ahead to make sure someone was home and arrived on time. The guys were efficient and courteous. They explained what they were doing and why, and also they took great care to clean up as they went. I will definitely use them again.

I left message a message yesterday and today. I'm surprised that no one has called me back and they were rated so highly on our list.

My gas leak required the men to search from the entry at the meter, to the house(yard), and under the house. They followed the line and checked every joint under the house and finally found the leak at the fireplace. They fixed it quickly and were very pleasant to work with. I appreciate the time the contractor spent explaining what he was doing.

It went very well. They tried to fix it first by replacing some outside tubing which would have been cheaper, but it turned out to be the more expensive pump. I watched them do it and know this was what needed to be done.

He wanted to install new items instead of repairing leaks, I was not to thrilled with the whole experience. I paid a lot to get a little done. Some items are still not fixed.

THIS IS THE SECOND TIME WE HAVE USED HUNTER PLUMBING AND BOTH TIMES THE PLUMBERS HAVE BEEN VERY POLITE, SHOWED UP ON TIME AND DID A GREAT JOB. THEY REPAIRED TWO OUTSIDE FAUCETS FOR US THAT ANOTHER COMPANY SAID COULD NOT BE FIXED WITHOUT TEARING OUT THE BRICKS. THEY FIXED THE PROBLEM WITH VERY REASONABLE COSTS IN LESS THAN 15 MINUTES! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

It was a great experience and the plumber was fair and honest. He repaired only the portion of the tank needing repair, and not the entire apparatus.

Called Jessica about 8:45AM. Two plumbers showed up at 10:30AM (ahead of schedule). Quickly diagnosed the problem, dug a hole, and made necessary repair. Refilled hole, cleaned all debris, replaced grass, and left work area better than they found it. Both men were clean, neat, very well-mannered, and seemed to know their job well. We could not have been more pleased. Incidentally, the temperature was in the mid-90's while they were working.

Great service. They made adaptations to improve job after the quote was given. I would use again!

Called two hours before scheduled time to see if they could come by early, which was fine with me... compared to the same work previously done by Frymire ($160.00), I feel Hunter was very reasonable. This is my third time dealing with Hunter, and will NOT be my last.

The workmen were on time (early even) polite, explained what work was being done and why. I have no basis for price comparison, but the Angie's List coupon and discount given to Angie's List subscribers reduced the price by more than $50, which made me happy.
