Scheduling was a nightmare and they were triple the cost of all other flooring placese.
Description of Work: They came to give us a quote for flooring in two small rooms.

They never even got past showing up to provide an estimate.
Description of Work: I contacted Home Depot to perform cabinet refacing services. I spoke with their phone representative and scheduled an appointment for two days after our phone call. 30 minutes prior to the appointment, I reveived a phone call that the design consultant would not be able to make the appointment. A new appointment was made for the next day. 15 minutes prior to that appointment, I received a phone call that the design consultant would not be able to meet at the scheduled time. I was offered another time later in the day. I refused. If Home Depot can't even show up to provied an estimate, I am surely not going to engage them in any work. They were inconsiderate of my time and I will no longer be doing any business with Home Depot. I'm taking all my business to Lowes.

Home Depot Home Services were good but they were really pricey. They showed up when they were supposed to show up. They did what they were supposed to do. One of the doors, when they refaced, had a scratch on it and they made sure that they got the door replaced. I didn?t have to ask, they told me. That?s nice. They pointed out something that I wouldn?t have seen for a long time and took care of it. That?s tells me a lot about their installers. They could have walked out or put a little cover-up on it and it would have been months before I would have noticed this ever. I spent about $18000; it was expensive. I hired Home Depot Home Services as I have used them in the past. I know that they do seem to stand by their installers. It was really the professionalism and the expertise of the people doing the work that stood out to me the most. Everybody seemed to know what they were doing and how they were doing it. They seemed very good at what they do. I was comfortable with them.
Description of Work: Home Depot Home Services remodeled my kitchen about a year ago. They did cabinet refacing and put in new countertops.

After 4 months, about a hundred calls, an upper level manager, the state of Texas plumbing license board, and lots of angry exchanges, it did get done right. If this is what you wish for during a dream remodel job, then this is definately your company.
Description of Work: Absolute incompetence. Instalers overheard making comments such as "just put it in like that they'll never know". I found leaky pipes they claimed would seal on their own. They cracked my shower onyx and tried to leave it as is. They sent unlicensed plumbers and staff to do a job done wrong. It took a call to the state of Texas Plumbing licensing board and almost 4 months to get the job done right. One installer confessed to me "im the kithchen cabinet guy I don't know how to install your shower". This was one of the most horrible experiences I've ever had. Oh and that "warranty BS", You will call and call and call, and never get a response. When you finally get a manager, "Im sorry" is all you get.

The contractor was just incredible he absolutely went above and beyond. The project management, however, was really lacking. They switched project managers in the middle of the project, which extended the project for several months. The bathroom looks great, but the project itself was a nightmare. The contractor saved the project for us.
Description of Work: They redid our master bathroom.

I hired them, signed the contract on the 24th July. They were to start the job 13 days later. They never showed so I called to find out where they were. They said they would notify, never called back until over a month later 28th of August. They started the job with the tub and they said that a order was wrong and they said they would be back on the 4th of September. Never heard from them so I called and so they said someone would call. I kept calling and finally reached someone (Scheduler )on the 12th and he assured me that they would return on the 17th and again no show. I received a call on the 17th and the scheduler said mysteriously my contract appeared on his desk saying the vanity had arrived but the counter was still not in. I'm tired of the run around and just want them finish the job.
Description of Work: They were too remodel two bathrooms.

It has been an ordeal. Estimate given April 14, first day of work, June 14. We were told it was a 3 day job, but it is late August and we are waiting to schedule the re-hanging of the glass door. The two side panels, ceiling panel and threshold had to be replaced because of cracks and sub-par fit. Only after the first shower on August 2 did we know that the water flowed OUT of the shower because the threshold tilted outward. Also, all the grout has had to be replaced after final inspection deemed it unacceptable. The project managers are friendly, but difficult to get a call-back from anyone. They also pulled 4 techs from the job until Mark Bibeau was assigned to do the panel replacements. He was extremely knowledgeable, prompt, courteous and cleaned up after himself. He re caulked the joints affected and replaced the quarter-round molding in front of the shower. He was mindful that we had replaced the flooring with bamboo and new carpet 1 1/2 yrs. ago by covering them.
Description of Work: Acrylic overlay of 32 inch by 34 inch shower stall with new glass door, fixtures, safety bar and 2 corner shelves.
