I bought a chandelier from Lamps Plus and they told me that this is the only app that they use so I had to use them for the installation. Originally I was impressed that I put in the request and they sent someone out right away, however the installer cancelled within one minute of arriving at my house. I stayed home and waited for him for hours. Handy didn't even call me to tell me that he cancelled at the last minute. I wish I could say that was the last time that happened. It wasn't. They sent five more 'professionals' to my house. Most of them didn't show up, or came without even as much as a ladder, after specifically writing in the instructions that scaffolding was needed. The 6th professional that they sent was fantastic, but it shouldn't take 6 tries. Handy was unapologetic, but they did refund me my money. Lamps Plus said the were getting multiple complaints from other customers and were now considering different installers. If you have any kind of complicated job I would hire someone, really anyone, else.

every job ever done by these people will overcharge the customer and the pros are a hit or miss professionals who get sent. the pros are only paid 1/3 of what the handy technologies company is getting from their app. angie is a sub company as well to these scammers. beware

One time cleaning. Cleaning person talked too loud and too much. Gave too much personal information. Cleaning tools and product not suitable for job. Also rinsed mop in kitchen sink, NEVER done in my home. Mopped floors with wrong product, left floors sticky. (I had to mop the floors myself after she left.) Will never recommend HANDY CO.

Unfortunately, Handy House Cleaning being an email only method company hurt in my scenario. My individual was a no-show and I was never called, texted or emailed. You can only contact this company through email and a situation that could be resolved or cleared up with a 2-5 minute call, is prolonged 1+ hours waiting on emails to go back and forth. Reading the other reviews, this seems to be the trend of this company about the customer service being sub-par. As mentioned by others I’d stay away from this company. Plenty of others to choose from.

Very well. He arrived a little late but that was ok.

Took my credit card, signed up for service. 20 mins before it was scheduled then the reschedule for a different day (so that I had to cancel because it that new time didn't work for me). I wish I had read the other reviews as it seems to be a kind of pattern. I am not sure what they are going to try and charge me, but I am betting they will try to charge me a cancellation fee. Then they asked me to use an application and the only way to sign up for services in the application was to sign up for a subscription service....hmmm.

It did not go Well. Kimora showed up 30 minutes late. Came in, I showed her around and told her what I wanted to be clean. She said she needed to get supplies out of her car and left my house. After a few minutes, I looked in the driveway and her car was gone. I tried to call her but she sent my phone to voice mail. I also texted her where was she and asking if she would at least tell me why she left. No response. When I looked on the Handy app, it said that she had completed the work and she also blocked me. When we complained to the company they tried to give me a future credit but still charged me. I told them to cancel my service and they then tried to charge me a $99 cancelation fee. I’d stay away from this company. Plenty of others to choose from.

It went good. The guy was nice, knoweledgeable, and polite.

They hung a tv in the home. They did a great job. He was professional and on time.

I had two bookings. One was installing tv and one was a assembling bookcase. Both were personable, quick, clean, and efficient. I bought another one to assemble another bookcase.

It went fine no problems

The handyman was on time to put my item together.

The housecleaner was on time.

It was easy to book, and they were on time.

Well the first guy hung up a pool table light. It started falling, so Handy sent out someone else fix it. After a day or two I noticed the top of the light was coming down from the ceiling. It was easy to book, they were on time. I had to cancel five times because my husband is sick, which I did online. I never had issues with canceling, which I hated to do.

It's been so-so. I've been with them less than a year, and their pros don't show up on a regular basis. I would make arrangements to have someone home to let them in, and they wouldn't show up.

Booking was easy, simple. It was requested through Wayfair, then an email was sent to schedule. They were on time. Came out initially in January, but returned when they had enough hardware to assemble.

The installer did not put one of the legs on straight. There were no issues with Handy.

I like Handy and I've had no issues with the actual housecleaners. I don't like that they re-scheduled me for a different day without asking first and it was less than (24) hours from my appointment time . I also don't like that I cant' call them.

It was easy to schedule.

Pretty Good

Mediocre on several experiences; poor on one; and abysmal on the most recent date when they cancelled on me the day of and provided no replacement cleaner, leaving us completely hung out to dry. Terrible in Dallas; do not recommend using Handy in the DFW area.
