This is my third time using Dallas Greenworks!! I called and researched other companies, but I can't find anyone to beat the quality or thoroughness in their work. This was the first time that I've had the opportunity to work with Michael, and his inspection was exceptional (as expected). He allowed me to follow along during his inspection so that I would be better educated as to what to look for when buying a property. I really appreciated that!

Can't say enough about Alex. He was simply great! He was right -on time and he is very detail oriented. He went through every inches of the house and checked all things. I was very very impressed with his patience and he explained all the issues that he was coming across during the inspection. He went above and beyond on his duties. I highly recommend him and Greenworks for your home inspection.

Chris did a great job with the home inspection! He arrived on time and stayed back later as I could not get there on time. He explained all the issues patiently and elaborately. The report was expansive with every small defect noted and pictures added as needed. Had a great experience with Greenworks! Would use them and Chris again if I needed another inspection. Thank you!

Chris did an excellent job inspecting our potential home. He identified a number of issues and took the time to explain to us which were important and which were common to a 60 year old house. His report gave us critical leverage during negotiations and we look forward to having him out for a follow up inspection once the seller has completed required work.

Beware deceptive advertisement! Greenworks advertises "Complete Home Inspection/Diagnosis with Foundation Elevation Measurements" and in the description lists "Foundation elevation inspection", and "Your home's foundation is essential to it's value and having an inspection performed can save you time or money from future repair. Get an inspection form the pros and ensure no potential uneven floors or wall cracks take appearance!" (Angie's List Ad) I received the report, but it did not include the elevation map so I called to inquire. "We cannot provide an elevation map because we are not licensed engineering firm." WHAT??? "We provide notes in the foundation section relating to the measurements we take, but we can not provide the measurements." WHAT??? "Sir, you need to have a engineering firm come and inspect your property if want an elevation map. We would have to charge $400 more for the map. We provide this for free." I understand that they are measuring the foundation for free as part of their service to provide the customer with an indication of the status of the foundation. NOW I understand. Deceptive Advertising! They don't SAY that in the Angie's List ad. I don't say they can not provide foundation measurements. DECEPTIVE. I have the time limit of the option period, now I have to schedule a foundation company to come out to provide me with an elevation map. I AM RUNNING OUT OF TIME because you didn't say that in the ad. And one more thing - They are late with the inspection report because they had my email wrong. I keep calling and texting asking where the report was. Their lack of follow up caused this to be late anyway. And NO I would not use this company again!!

Submitted an offer on a home, contingent upon a home inspection. We had 3 days to complete the inspection. Called around to many inspection companies before finding Christine. She immediately impressed me with her straightforward and upfront manner, excellent pricing, and knowledge of her trade. Her pricing was extremely competitive and was all inclusive - no added taxes or fees. When I asked on the phone if we needed a termite inspection, Christine said that she includes a general visual inspection for insects as part of her inspection and if a termite inspection was needed, she would let us know. (We ended up not needing one, and were grateful to not have to pay extra for an unnecessary inspection.) Christine came the next day and arrived on time. She was very professional and personable. We left her alone to do her inspection, and were so appreciative of the time that she took to explain all of her findings to us after the inspection was complete. It is clear that Christine enjoys what she does, and is extremely knowledgeable, current, and educated about building codes and requirements, safety codes, understands how structural and thermal components work and how they affect the home, and has an excellent grasp on what issues to expect from older homes. She answered all of our questions clearly, and took the time to explain each detail of her findings with us, while showing us pictures. Her 65 page detailed report arrived the following morning in our inbox, complete with regular and thermal imaging pictures included in every section of the report. We are so grateful to have found Christine, and would definitely recommend her to all our friends and family. If you are looking for a hard-working, passionate, knowledgeable, trustworthy, and excellent-priced inspector to complete a home inspection for you, look no further.

This was my first time to use Angie's list to find a service provider and it will be my last if this is not made right.. I never got the services I paid for, I have had no contact from Green works about this matter. If you use this company best of luck to you. If you do have an issue...you could end up like me. No report, No money and having to use Angie's List sort everything out. So if you're counting on a home inspection report in a timely manner I would not use Greens Works Home Inspections. Phone service was not bad and they did get a tech on site that day. The Tech was nice and professional and seemed to check everything, but I will never know because I never received my home inspection report. After they had my money they were done with me is really how I feel. I sent a few texts and tried to call asking about my service. Harmony texted me back later that morning saying that I needed to sign another document that was never mentioned when making the appointment to get the inspection report. The only one to mention this other document was the Tech after the inspection. So the next morning I'm waiting for my paper work and nothing; so I sent a text to Harmony the Green Works rep at 958. Around 1030am I get a text that I would get the report when it was done or by 8PM that night. Now I was waiting on this report and was told by the Tech that it would be ready in the morning after I sign this other document. Which I did right away... but by 829pm that evening I still did not have the report and now I just want my money back. And that's how green works has left this situation they have my money and report and I'M out of time.

I feel I really want to write a review and say thank you to Greenworks home inspection. Michael did a great job, and actually it's beyond listing agent's expectation by climbing up to the roof and pointed out the need to replace the whole thing. This makes the negotiation so easy and eventually I was able to let seller pay the deductible for a new roof. The time receiving report was a little bit miscommunication but it was not a huge deal. Overall very good job! Thank you.

I can't fault these guys. They were professional from start to finish. They were able to schedule the inspection within a few days, which was a huge bonus. The inspector who arrived was punctual and friendly. He was very thorough and sat with us afterwards to go over the list of main points of his findings. Being a 100-year-old house, that list was, as expected, long so he actually spent quite a bit of time explaining things to us. The report we received shortly afterwards was very professional. We were very pleased with our experience and wouldn't hesitate to use this company again in the future.

The first time, they walked my husband through and pointed out all the reasons why the home would be a bad investment. It was a rushed flip that looked really nice until you noticed all the foundation, roof, wall, and bad DIY issues it had. We ended the option period right away and started looking again. The second home, he also walked us both through what he found. Again, he found a lot because they're so thorough. However, he explained what we might want to do to fix things and recommended a foundation expert come out and take a closer look at that. I was particularly impressed, because this home had a recent inspection from another potential buyer that we have a copy of. While that inspection and ours have a number of things in common, Greenworks was more thorough and noticed possible foundation issues that the other inspection didn't notice. Both times the inspectors were friendly, knowledgeable, and made sure not to track dirt all over (wore booties). If we're in the market to buy again, I will hire Greenworks in a heartbeat.

This company is exceptional. They were able to respond quickly so we could get the inspection done well within our option period. The inspector that handled our two inspections, Paul, is extremely thorough. He did both inspections for us within a few weeks of each other. We opted out of the first property due to the extensive work that was revealed in the inspection report. Both inspection reports were professionally prepared with detailed descriptions and photos of every aspect. Hi tech equipment was used to detect things that wouldn't be visible to the naked eye, like evidence of water damage, both active and prior. These homes were built in 1904 and 1930. We felt confident in knowing what to expect with either one of these properties. Paul was on time, polite, answered all of our questions with great knowledge. We highly recommend GreenWorks.

The scheduling (my realtor did the scheduling) and inspection when fine. However, getting the report was annoying and the lady I talked to was very rude and short. We did a short option period on the house were are buying so I called ahead of time to verify they had openings. The lady told me at the time, to call her back, which I never understood why until later. After the inspection, I got an invoice for the inspection and couldn't obtain my report until it was paid, yet, I had already paid on Angie's list. My realtor had told me she had already told them it was paid for. The invoice was $25 lower than what I paid on Angie's list. When I called to ask for them to release my report since I had already paid, the lady was very rude told me that of course I was going to have to pay before I could get the report, she could fix it since I had paid but it would take a few hours for me to get the report. I also asked why I got an invoice for $25 lower than what I paid. She said it was because my real estate agent setup the inspection using her id and Angie's list charges a 20% markup so they got less money since I didn't go through them. This explains why the other lady told me to call them back directly, they get more money that way. I find it rude that I got snapped at for asking about the $25 difference. As far as I'm concerned, I believe I'm still owed a $25 credit or she should have told me, they would refund me via Angie's list and charge me the inspection fee directly. But to whine about Angie's list taking more of their money than if I would have gone directly through them, isn't my fault or problem. I can't imagine they signed up with Angie's list not knowing that and if they didn't want that much taken from their profits, they should have cancelled. Either way, it's not acceptable to act like I'm burdening them by wanting my report and then start complain about how since Angie's list charges, I shouldn't be able to pay less.

We were very impressed with the inspection! He caught numerous costly issues with the home and helped us avoid costly home repairs. I would recommend them and we'll be using them again for further rental home inspections.

inspector missed some really easy and important issues which I am now dealing with after purchase. undersink leaks and sprinkler line breaks. also visible structural damage. very disappointed

Extremely thorough. The inspector saved me from making a $240,000 mistake. My realtor was blown away with the high end equipment they used. Both inspectors were top notch. I will absolutely use them again, and my realtor is going to be recommending their services to his future clients.
